It's only pointless if the purpose is to get them to kill each other, but that's not the purpose. The entire reason to do this is to get entire armies fighting each other by getting the guys at the heads of those armies to hate each other. That is not something you can do by stabbing them both no matter how you cut it.
 
Did he have martial 14 before, or was it just the text that changed?

Huh, Mathilde did good work there in finding a trainer for Johann. Still, I find an amusing that an order of priests who aspire to be the pick that their ancestor god wield is teaching a literal golden man in the ways of becoming the pick. He already got the metal part right, now all he needs is the swinging part.

Aside from that though, while looking at Johann sheets, noticed something pretty interesting.

Packmaster: Johann is the proud father of five surprisingly friendly and gentle wolf-rats.

Mathilde and Johann are going to set a precedent that any magisters stationed in K8P gonna be quite eccentric, aren't they?

That citation gets twisted something fierce. In that case, Boney was answering the question of "what arguments could be possibly made against it?".

It does not mean that it is true, merely that some people were arguing it.


And it is in fact very untrue. Names are easy to get by kidnapping and interrogating low-rank enemies, who are defended much worse than the head honchos themselves.

But if you want to start greenskin infighting its just more effective to gank the leader.

Rather invest in a nice grenade item
 
Consider how hard someone with a conceptually perfected body that doesn't get physically tired or need to breathe can train...

If Johann keeps up his fisticuffs in his own time then I think he should rise significantly up the shipping ranks. Because he'll be hilarious, particularly when combined with his high natural Intrigue. 'Suddenly Glorious Golden Punch-Wizard!' amuses me, and I think we should keep him around. Although I'd prefer if he does enough for the dwarves that he's invited to stay on his own merits, rather than as Mathilde's employee before any romancing starts.

This also makes me wonder about against about whether runic knuckledusters exist. Punching with a perfect golden fist is all very well, but before very long you need a lot more punch, as Mathilde found.

And on a final note, I wonder what he's doing to improve his chances of surviving the lethal of failed Gildings I suspect that's something the Tower of Utter Neutrality might help with, but it's hard to know.

This way is much safer, as you never need to break stealth.

A d it can be used for greenskin out-fighting. Or other outfighting. Did you ever want this tribe of orcs to attack that tribe? Do you want to make the orcs in this karak attack the enemy of your choice? Does clan Skryre get along with clan Eshin a bit too well?

Just add some burning vengeance.

Just no. It's much, much worse. It takes longer, has better chances of failure a d larger risks.

And I'm not talking about using that kind of shit against skaven. They know their false flag ops and are not likely to fall forvit.
