At least a free-action get-to-know-you lunch. We have to write the elven princes stories and maybe even put the blessing on it.
Poor horse.Since it'd be trivial for Mathilde to summon one and experiment with a knife: it is damaged by normal attacks, but regenerates. Magical attacks are especially effective against it, as it disrupts the magic that forms it.
They're the classics for a reason.- A matter on the side: I invite the thread to suggest musics best suited for Mathilde's training montage. Excellence in one's suggestion may result in the granting of A Boon; the exact details of a Boon will be disclosed only to the recipient. And before anyone tries: No Rocky, and no Team America.
I'm pretty happy with our sword proficiency where it is. We're a Wizard, we should prioritise getting to Magister now. If we're doing any non-magical training, I think it should be with Anton on how to win friends and influence people.[] Plan Swords and Sorcery
-[ ] Trade Delegation: Convince Wilhelmina and Markus to partner your network with the EIC based on the value of market information.
-[ ] Seek out a new leader for the Watch.
-[ ] Really Good Swords: You have achieved proficiency with the Greatsword. Future progress is possible, though it will take more effort to see results. (NEW)
-[ ] Enchantment: You've finally got the equipment, now you've just got to unpack it all and set up your laboratory.
-[ ] Enchantment: You're naturally talented at enchantment; so far, this just amounts to being able to make your desk meow for about an hour. See if you can improve on that, or at least figure out a way to make that useful.
-[ ] Undead Research: This is Stirland. Time to bone up on your knowledge of the Undead, this time with the addition of Van Hal's personal library.
-[ ] As a Journeywoman, the path to Magister is marked by mastering more than the two shadow spells you already know. Send to the Grey Order for the basics and work on figuring out one of the others.
-[ ] Shyish-kebabs: The Shyish swords are hideously dangerous as weapons, but fascinating as a subject of study. Try to reverse-engineer the lost enchantments woven into them.
--[] Ranald's blessing
-[ ] Free Time: Now well-established in Wurtbad, you can spend some time in your scant off hours getting to know someone better. Pick one character. (no action required) (can be used to perform Snooping without spending an action)
--[]Gustav
-[ ] Change tithe payment/loan payment/embezzlement (specify)
--[] send an extra 175 gold to the collage to pay on the student loans. This equils 5 payments and leaves us with a nice nest egg incase of emergencies.
Sort out some of our money trouble so we stop LOSING MONEY.
Someone that can run the watch while we're riding to war.
sword training
get our lab set up.
use the lab
research
new spells
use the lab some more with Ranald's help
pick up tips on pstols from Gustav.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Discussion?
Personally I don't like the thought of poaching administrators.
We need to wait until we have more coverage before we take the gong farmer action or we might end up doing it again.
The question was basically "are we going to push in as far as Castle Drakenhof or not (the 'not' option being due to the expected danger of a vampire well-equipped enough with resources and skilled minions to pull what she did)", which was answered long before we ever got to the private report part of the update. We couldn't know that it would be when writing the vote, though.I'm writing the private meeting now, and I need to express sarcasm to keep from putting it in the mouth of Van Hal:
-[*] Are we expecting to confront the Von Carstein believed to live in Castle Drakenhof, who claims the title of Elector Countess, during this campaign? Our information on her from the captured infiltrator is sparse, but she has at least one skilled necromancer in her service based upon the spell they were using, so that could turn ugly fairly quickly.
"Has the man who's entire ancestry been dedicated to atoning for his Sylvanian necromancer ancestor, who's entire life has been spent on the hunt for dangerous magic users in general and necromancers in particular, who's sole goal as an Elector Count is to purge the taint of necromancy from Sylvania... has this man considered the possibility that there might be a necromancer in Sylvania?"
The thought may have crossed his mind.
"Well, I mean, maybe they all caught some nasty disease and dropped dead? And didn't come back as undead? ...it's theoretically possible, it could happen!"I'm writing the private meeting now, and I need to express sarcasm to keep from putting it in the mouth of Van Hal:

That elf is an exile in bad standing with the Phoenix King. He's not a mage, either. Selling the juice is not the right thing to do with it. Selling urine or it's products, on the other hand, is great.i was wondering is it possible to sell the liquid magic to the elves it seems like something they spend good money to buy for what ever experiments their wizards will do
it should also give us the much needed cash
and what do you know we have an elf that will have important connections to get us in contact with buyers
My take:
We need to get our Greatsword skill up, seeing as we're going along for the ride.
We can't cast those reliably yet with Magic 4. Miscasting Warhammer Magic can be very bad, and the middle of an army isn't the place for Tzeentchs Curse, thankyou very much.Right, what about:
- Scribe
- Set up enchanting lab
- Practice enchanting by trying to make something useful, like a magic sword. Even an amulet that glows and casts shadows on anyone standing in front of our sword would do.
-- Ranald's Blessing
- Practice Burning Shadows
- Practice Cloak of Invisibility
Burning Shadows and Invisibility are by a long shot the best we can get to fight undead shit, given afaik, undead are immune to psychology so Fear doesn't work.

What do we actually expect to get from scribing his tales?

A closer relationship with a elf and his Dragon, interesting info about various thing/parts of the world, permission to publish the book and maybe him returning from time to time to have us write the next volume. We can't cast those reliably yet with Magic 4. Read the Spellbook section. We can (attempt to) learn them, but can't reliably cast them until Magic 5.
Well, yeah. "And that's how you kill a lich" is the kind of thing I expect him to say.A closer relationship with a elf and his Dragon, interesting info about various thing/parts of the world, permission to publish the book and maybe him returning from time to time to have us write the next volume.
Also so military insight.
