Didn't Nehekhara mix arcane and divine lores just fine though?
What little I know of their theology suggests that the Nehekharans obtained their arcane lores through divine revelation, so they were highly compatible.

Whereas for Imperials its more like they're close enough to overlap a bit, like Sigmar-Hysh, Morr-Shyish, Ranald-Ulgu. Close enough that some of the effects are the same approached differently, some of the Marks are similar if you squint.

But not the same thing.

Hysh seems much more aligned with Verena. Sigmar is much too practical and passionate. He was a barbarian warlord.

The only exception is Panoramia, who you press to repeat her earlier magics with the Black Lotus seeds. She's not exactly happy with being sidelined for the battle, but she obeys, and as night falls the first blossom is near harvesting.

Seems like this could once again present the image that Mathilde knows what is going to happen ahead of time, since SOMEONE from the college really needs to stay behind in Karag Lhune with all the wild craziness that could be about to go down in Karag Nar. Just in case. Collegiate reports don't exactly write themselves, after all. See, we learned from Drakenhof!

I wonder if it would be possible for Ranald to grow a new aspect, that of Ranald the Magician, which would extend from the fake magic that's part of his portfolio as the Deceiver (sleight-of-hand, legerdemain, etc.). Some parts of his nature as Ranald the Protector would also apply, gien wizards social position. In general, Ranald's nature as the order god 'opposition' to Tzeentch would also make this appropriate, given that Tzeentch is the Chaos God of Magic, and miscasts are blamed on his Curse by Magisters.

There isn't a human god sponsoring magic, after all.

I don't have anything to add to this beyond it being a really neat idea and I wanted to quote it.

[X] You are a Magister of the Grey Order, and follow the traditions laid down by Teclis and Magnus the Pious. Try to ground the energies.

All the people voting for Ranald vote as if they have already rolled a successs. I on the other hand would rather not risk the consequences of failure especially in such a long running quest.
We can roll badly and die with any of them. I voted Ranald because we have good stats for it and because the previous choice at the Stromfels shrine implies that "get a god to deal with a god" is Mathilde's professional opinion.

The Mork option sounds like the real munchkin template-stacking option tbh. I'd vote for that if I wanted to be an Orc Wizard Knight Priest Shaman Necromancer or somesuch wackiness.
The birth of Mathilde the Slaughterer?

[X] You are the justice of Mork, delivering swift death upon the heresy of Only Gork. Try to accept the energies.

- collecting the gods of cunning one at a time like PoKeMON! You're next Loec elven god of shadows!

[X] You are a faithful of Ranald, being in the right place at the right time to unbalance the scales. Try to steal the energies.
Husbando Alith Anar when?

Two hundred and some change is about the limit on this forum. The record holder is, iirc, two hundred and forty something.
I remember when getting votes by crook or hook on both SB and SV got you about 200 votes, and everybody involved (including QM) though it was a ridiculous and way more than possible.

And here the turnout is natural.

Thats the Orc option.
The Ranald one is to send it to your god.

Its a completely different brand of unwise.
