I feel like we gain more in effectiveness by grabbing weapons somewhere prior to attacking arenas vs no weapons in that we have limited manpower where Alyssa has manpower limited only in how many Daemons her coven can summon, furthermore huge casualties via lack of weapons would be less than fortunate for friendly forces' morale overall, in addition to limiting the additional recruits we could acquire passively through success. It's a fair idea but if we are here for the long haul which it seems we are, we need to attack the correct targets to lure Alyssa away, maintain our own manpower to limit effects of any bad rolls, and maintain friendly morale to maintain our own forces' cohesion.Nows an excellent chance to hit the Arenas, I think. It's no longer gonna be ambiguous since attritions already been achieved. No point in trying to arm everyone up before hitting it with everything we've got. Speed here will be our ally before Alyssa's subordinates get a chance to fortify themselves against reprisal
@torroar did Johanna gank anyone important on her way out?
It's interesting that they deathballed the Sorceresses hitting the Arenas. Trying to intercede there would've been a disaster
Your hurt feelings aside, those DCs to counterspell like 5 Sorceresses at once would've been an absolute comedy.
Everyone knew that not intervening at one risked what we didn't go to falling to Alyssa's get.
Also I worry that going straight to the Arenas risks running into, as you said, the deathball of Sorceresses all at once rather than picking them off one by one. This isn't to say that your plan is terrible, more that I'd prefer arming to first to preserve manpower and avoid running across excessive Sorceresses
