Normally wouldn't support this, but if Nat is confident about it and the rolls seem to reflect it I say go for it.

Hopefully while the dark elves are scrambling to put out one fire, it will be easier to start another elsewhere.

The clattering of steel makes the three of you look over to see the new arrivals saluting, some more willingly than others, up towards Voidreaper. Including the Lord Direblaze, though you can't quite tell if he's gritting his teeth within his helm or not.

There's something to be exploited with Direblaze, I think. Like.

They're the first people to throw down with Alyssa's new regime, and in turn they've just been badly fucked by some kind of assassin.

Plus they're one of the three powers maintaining the Arenas, and the one most likely to have a disaster go down if a Gladiator uprising managed to gain any kind of momentum, due to their supply of monstrous beasts.

If we manage to successfully sparta-kick them somehow, some way, into being the sick man of the Ark, that'll throw everything into chaos, because Alyssa is going to have to manage juggling selling them out to appease the rest of her growing power base with the very obvious perception that she can't guarantee the safety of her own closest supporters.

Which is a death sentence for her hopes at a unified command or regime.

Yeah, we should move towards fucking over Direblaze next if we can.

We really dont have the time if Alyssa is managing to stabilize things faster than expected.

Better to hit a target, extract and hit another one while they are still sorting things out in the first hit.
 
I don't know if it's rhetorical or not but, do we the fandom actually trust our new druuchi friend? And does Frederick trust her?

About 50-50, Hultressa showed her us her daughter and such, so we are giving an equal one so far.

Also, she WAS the one who prevented Freddy death and being turned into leather while having an immense interest in running from the Druichii society. So there is that.

Personally, I trust that
a) Hultressa is sincere in her goals (we have already seen how she has tried keep Gwen away from typical Druuchi attitudes) and
b) that she knows Freddies connections can make things much, much easier if she can get his willing cooperation.

Furthermore, Freddie and his allies are basically the most potent assets she has available.
I definatly think there are limits to trust based on those factors, especially if there ever comes a situation where she might have to weigh a humans wellbeing against her daughters, but right now every scenario where she wins is one where Freddy and friends come out of this alive and free.
 
Has Eldyra shown any signs of (slowly) getting better? To be honest sort of surprised Frederick didn't spend part of the day where Gwendolyn was meditating with her, talking to her, even if she's not conscious seemed like something he'd do.

Good point. I would think he is helping feed her and such too, making sure she is alright and just talking to her to give her a friendly voice.
