Too many Rubber Forehead Aliens, not enough Starfish Aliens.I for one think that we have an underrepresentation of ungendered and non-humanoids.
Gogo, Fungoids!
We have all the hulls we need.
The T1 450kt is fine for the small cheap category. The T2 750kt is fine for the Miranda-sized category. The T1 900kt or the T2 1050kt is fine for the large capable frigate category. The T3 450kt is the next hull we unlock but is only a marginal improvement over the T1 hull.
Personally, I wish to lodge a complaint about the lack of children in the EC, and wish to know what the QMs plan to do to combat this gross display of Ageism.
Starfleet Command has a clear standard of escalation when dealing with situations that they get to handle.
If there is a problem, you send a ship.
If the problem is weird, you send an Explorer Corps ship.
If the problem is big, you send a task force or even a fleet.
When the problem is impossible, you send an Enterprise.
It sure does feel good to have that last option again.
I find it hard to square with human reservations about genetic engineering, though. Are they really going to ban gene-modding to make humans smarter, then claim nothing could possibly go wrong for doing it on chimps and dolphins?
This why we need time cops, Trek space time is so nonsensical I'm surprised Kirk did not spend most of his days fighting off time travelers.
>yfw you have the perfect opportunity to bypass the hard, crunchy exterior of the Fed, avoiding their swarms of ships and striking right at their heart... to find ~25 ships available to ruin ur day
Inelegant Solutions: A History of the Miranda Replacement Projects
The T3 450kt hull is a ship component, not a fully realized starship design in and of itself.
*looks*...The T3 450kt hull is a ship component, not a fully realized starship design in and of itself.
Anomaly idea!
Einsteinian, strictly relativistic particle that could not be moved at FTL at all. And sudden contamination of starship hull with them while in deep space.
Keeping things Trek in nature has been my biggest priority throughout the quest, so it's always gratifying to hear feedback like this. Glad to have you join usI finally, finally caught up to this quest. It's been a hell of a ride, but one of my favorite things is how Star Trek you've managed to keep it. The lack of conquest and underhandedness is something you never see in these quests on SB or SV. So, congrats SV, on not becoming an Empire Quest like everyone else.
Eh. Well, for a given value of underhandedness.

FTFY, because being mad at someone is just highly illogical.Space Jesus knows how we've had to hold ourselves back to not make Steskmad atdisappointed in us.
At this point it's little more than an in-universe design study, I would presume.

Probably giving them slack due to being part of the only good TNG movie. It's also ugly as shit.
I don't get why the rest of Trek Fandom has such a boner for First Contact designs. With the exception of the Enterprise-E, they're all horrendous.

No, its your opinion that they are "horrendous". I personally like the Akira, Saber, and Steamrunner. They're solid "next gen" designs. It's also ugly as shit.

Put less politely, this.Steamrunner is a bit of "wat" design, but talk shit about muh waifu Akira and you're going to make me angry.
And then we won't be the being Councillor Stesk knows we can be.

I'm personally not a fan of the Norway-class, but I'm sure there are folks who are.
Of all of the Next Gen designs. My absolute favorite would be the Akira Class. And my least favorite class would be the Sabre. Regarding the Sabre class. I would love to know how high on whatever drugs he must have been taking to come up with that atrocity of a design. To me all it was, was a weapons platform with warp engines strapped on. True the federation was at going to be at war with the Dominion eventually but that doesn't excuse coming up with such a half assed design like the Sabre was.No, its your opinion that they are "horrendous".
