More information, especially on the Cardassians, is vital, so sending our most skilled Oberth is an excellent idea.

That's great that the Romulans agreed to the joint research colony, hopefully this improvement of relations continues.

That's a relief that the Klingons aren't looking for war, and hopefully they won't pick a fight with the Romulans.

I'm glad it doesn't look like serious conflict with the Cardassians is going to happen anytime soon, gives us more time to build up.

Do we have a ship called the Stalwart? cause this is the first explorer launched after the biophage so something related to that sounds fitting.
 
It seems like a good idea to keep the scary ships Cardassian-facing for now, and generally aim to have a policy of keeping it scary. We don't need to get into a colonization race with them, but it'd probably be a good idea to give them a serious "do not fuck with us" impression so they don't end up thinking they can roll on up to our borders. That's the last thing we need.

hmm, let's see the Response, the Pyre (black humor here), Ingenuity (we solved the crisis with as much science! as fire power), The Grit (cause the federation actually excepted they had to fight someone for once costs be dammed, though that might make more sense for a Defiant or Sovereign), The Solution etc.. we should really make a doc of just random ship names and randomly select em whenever we make a new ship.

Hmmmm...... I wonder if we're going to end up having to defend a Romulan Colony against Klingon aggression. I'd laugh if we ended up flipping the status quo to a general alliance with Romulus and and wary of the Klingons again. (And dance dance the quadrille again)

Or maybe both Klingons and Romulans trying to ally with us against the other.
