I am incredibly tempted to vote for Samyr Kanil. She's my character, after all. But I won't, because we've got more berths coming up next turn and I'd rather give her the Sarek if possible to stack +S bonuses.

Everything is politically impossible until suddenly it isn't. A fascinating look into what's going on in Orion politics. You know, I really do think that the Orions have the potential to be an incredible economic power once the chains of the Syndicate and the Hypercorps are removed. TuP's dream of swinging mighty influence on the Federation Council might not be so crazy.

And hey, if they join the Federation will finally get its cloaking device! That's right, I pointed this out a couple of days ago, but among the many "built one and never really got anywhere" projects the Orion government tried, they have a cloaked escort.

IIRC @anon_user put that stat block together on a lark so I'm not sure how canon it is. The alleged explorer they have is also "not appearing in this episode."

However if that design does exist I would suspect it's in the hands of the Syndicate... or maybe intended for an alternate Kadak-Tor plotline. The Syndicate were the ones who recovered the Black-Box cloak and were studying it, after all.

Gah, I want to write a biopic about one of the Romulan senators who was elected to a dynastic seat in the senate as Captain of a Football Team. But I just can't figure out how to start writing the life story of the guy because I keep getting hung up on the rules of Romulan football.

1) Anything goes
2) Don't get caught cheating
3) Visible weapon use is forbidden
4) Get more goals than the other team
