[X]Bjorn Drakeslayer: Search the jungle near the bay for tracks or beasts that would harm those staying in the bay.

After the jarl finishes his speech, Bjorn picks up his great bow and heads into the jungle. Though the environment is unfamiliar, a tree is still a tree and a hunter is still a hunter. The hermit hunter quickly settles back into his old occupation, wandering the jungle near the bay, looking out for any signs of danger and taking care of any beasts he deems himself capable of slaying.

You could swear an oath...if you're really determined.

Not until he's back from the dead he can't. But yeah, we may need to kill it anyway...that thing is dangerous.

We can respawn?!

No wonder this combo won the vote!

Yeah, I mentioned it in my first post. It's not surefire...every Norseman has a Fated Day, and you never know when, and nothing can bring you back from that, but it's a lot better than never respawning.

"When your Fated Day comes, you Will Die"

"But until your Fated Day comes, Nothing can Kill You"

But your Body can most certainly be Ouchied to the point where you basically check out. If you've got a Seeress, you can be revived, but that requires an intact, usable Body to do so.

if you don't, you're out of luck... Unless you've left a bit of yourself behind (Like a lock of hair) and have a Shapecrafter rebuild your Body from that bit left behind and Then the Seeress shocks you back awake.

Upon stepping foot into the jungle, you feel a sharp pain in your leg and soon find yourself feeling a little woozy.

Looking down, a sort of large, extremely flat mosquito seems to be drinking your blood.

What do you do?

Also, who is all working on the tree cutting stuff?

In like the next turn or so we should probably be on the look out for some iron. Tools, weapons, armor all will need repairs by then

Agmundr doesn't think he's up for scouting on his own, since he really doesn't have breadth of skills needed for it.

[X] Agmundr will help move and process the trees being cut by the ground-clearing team.

Anyone want Amlóði to tag along with their scouting? If nobody want's him he'll just clear out some wood.

If the three of you want to band together, the North doesn't have a Party yet!

I may have very quickly skimmed things once I realized there was a turn 1 time limit to join in and I was running on 5 minutes and counting to fart something out.

Would have gone for a Magical Medic even, except the very first character I read explicitly had Medical Knowledge as a thing, so "Norse Paleontologist" was born!

I assume that digging up the OG Norse Quest will provide a lot more information on everything?

Agmundr is helping process the trees once they've been cut, if that counts.

Uh, Magical Medic is...

Well, that's Shapecrafters. A Seeress can use healing techniques, but Shapecrafters are the undisputed masters of the Body.

Unfortunately, they're both gender-coded (Shapecrafters are almost always men, Seers are almost always women, this is despite both technically using the same root discipline, Just Norse Things), and that they both have very hefty Catches attached to them.

Namely, a Shapecrafter gets insane Paranoia (To the point where the Fates take pity on them and don't hold them to the same standards that other Norse are and even very high functioning ones are insane lunatics by modern standards), and Seeresses are beacons to Spiritual Bullshit.
