[x] Ivor Name-Giver Winter 2 Actions
-[x] [Major] Join the expedition with Anja, Ingunn and Kare to look for a spot on a mountain top for Anja to punch lightning
-[x] [Minor 1] Fish from the shore, and smoke the fish in my smokehouse
-[x] [Minor 2] Trade a gambeson to Agmundr for a set of copper cookware
-[x] [Minor 3] Trade a gambeson to Anja in exchange for help constructing trenchwork defenses
-[x] [Minor 4] Rune a barrel so that it makes any salt in any water placed in the barrel float to the surface for easy retrieval. Begin salt production
-[x] [Minor 5] Rune my sword with the runes "This counts as a needle for kunna effects."
-[x] [Minor 6] Investigate my land for anything yet to be discovered.
-[x] [Minor 7] Teach Aj, the native boy, about Norse language, ways and combat.
-[x] [Minor 8] Investigate the floating speck on Anja's property.

This looks like a lot but two of them are trades and two of them are just runing things, so I think it's alright. Also, I have another gambeson to trade if anyone has any good ideas.

-[X] Major: Build a nest out of the softest foliage you can find, fluff up your wings, and roost on your speckled eggs for the whole season. While your main body is keeping the eggs warm, project your consciousness through your fylgja to complete minor tasks.
-[X] Passive: Summon a flock of spectral birds and go fishing near the shore. Gotta keep the main body fed.
-[X] Passive: Maintain the traps around your grounds and collect any critters they catch.
-[X] Passive: Trade a portion of your catches for some golden grass and see if you can get it to grow in the jungle. The floor seems pretty fertile, as do the random patches of soil collected in the densest parts the canopy.
-[X] Passive: Peck down 1 Wood's worth of trees in your plot. Your new birdly sensibilities won't let you cut down any more than absolutely necessary. Even this many is enough to raise your hackles.

@Aria the Mage

[X] Agmundr Idskapadr's Winter 2 Actions
-[X] Major Action: Build a proper smeltery and forge to begin training as a smith, made from the Quality Granite looted from Onigar Quarry. I'll call upon Steinarr Stonelicker's (✓) expertise with Stoneworking and Architecture to help me design and build the main body of the furnaces, upon Moli Spotlight (✓) and Gudrun Ravensight (✓) to lay whatever skaldric trickery, seidr charms, and runic engravings they can muster which will enhance the furnaces, and upon Amerion Wardson to entreat Smargneisti (✓) and present the fire spirit with the possibility of becoming a spirit of Forgefire in particular. To properly honor and pay respect to the spirits, runes, and stone, I'll consecrate the furnaces with the sacrifice of 1 Ordstirr into the flames. All who answer my call for aid will receive one Priority Project from me which, once I have acquired the skills necessary to complete it, I will dedicate a Major Action to and invest up to three Ordstirr into, and which I will focus on completing first and foremost, before any non-priority projects not given directly to me by the Jarl. The furnaces will be built into the base of my raised platform, unless a pressing issue with this arrangement is raised.
-[X] Passive 1: Dedicate the large majority of my time post-construction to training my smithing. Forge brass nails, hinges, and screws (saving one unit for myself and donating the rest to the communal resource pool), make some brass cookware for Ivor and maybe more people besides, brass buttons and clasps, maybe some brass wire, and try my hand at smithing tools (first and foremost some proper smithing tools for myself), swords, barrel bands, spear-, axe, and arrow-heads with iron taken from the Onigar clubs. After every project, commune with my fylgja, analyzing my work and determining what I need to improve and generating ideas on how I might do so. Also, I'll try and get my hands (and Hands) on the metal at all stages of its smelting and forging, for sake of furthering my understanding and progress towards Kunna.
-[X] Passive 2: In my spare time, keep my glima and swordmanship (and my sword) sharp with practice (and maintenance).
-[X] Passive 3: Try and arrange a meeting with Grid Frostdottir to discuss a potential relationship, and what sort of things she expects to get from such a thing, and what she expects to give.

[X] Fernweh Enginweiss, Winter 2 Actions
-[X] Major Action: Explore the lands beyond the mountains.
-[X] [Passive 1] Improve defenses around my home.
-[X] [Passive 2] Improve defenses around Rekavidr.
-[X] [Passive 3] Grow beautiful flowers in Rekavidr to improve morale.
-[X] [Passive 4] Study the language of the natives.

Well, the climate here works well for it--if you can devise a way to stop the damn rain from steaming the plants to hell.

Okay. @Jaguar2234 what's your plan for this problem? I don't give a shit if you risk random stuff on winter growing, but if you take from our very limited supply of maize (we literally don't have enough to go around, not for everyone who wants to grow it) in the first year without a plan, Ragnarr is gonna be personally really pissed.

Bjorn "Barney" Bjarneson (Walliseatscheese)
Bjorn "Barney" Bjarneson walks out of the Jungles to the East, Stealth Patterning fading away for his standard reinforcement as he makes his way across the miles towards the settlement center, keeping an eye and nose out for one of the Settlement Leaders, preferably either the Grimfari Jarl or Hersir Ragnarr.

His Nose leads him to weave around people and between the few buildings until he finds Ragnarr in the public square, stopping a few feet away, giving a sheepish smile to him.

"Hoi, Ragnarr, have a minute? Mighta made a small mess for ya."

"So we all remember how Gudrun Rekavidrsdottir was exploring and killed by that crab wizard? How it tried to make her face herself in a fight to the death and how she cut off her own arm before she'd let it kill her with herself, and then it drew upon its wanded magics to finally kill her after all their struggles?"

"Well, I went and had a look about for the crab bastard, can't let something like that be a danger to us, yeah? And after talkin' with Gudrun about what happened and where it happened, I figured I'd check out whete she died in specific, and, well-" seeing the look on Ragnarr's face and remembering the exact thing he was asked not to do, Bjarneson cuts to the chase.

"It's not a War! It's actually, kinda, the opposite of a War?"

"So I went about gettin' to there all quiet like, hoping to get the jump on the bastard if 'e was still around, and it turns out!"

"The Bastard's actually a bastard by whatever weirdo standards the Crab People have too?"

"Cause there was three Crab Guys there, with some weird black greased wigs and black leather jackets?"

"Turns out they were bountyhunters looking for the wizard nut on behalf of a 'Crabsortium', wanted to 'ask 'im a few questions', which I took ta meanin' beat him up for answers ya know?"

"The three named 'emselves as Crabcent, Crabony, and Crablone, with Crablone bein' the Boss of the other two, seemed to be he was takin' the lead on gettin' the other two blooded, with their first step bein' tryin' to figure out just what's been going on with their 'nutcase wizard'."

"I talked em into trying to get some of their own people ready to talk to our people in a year's time [editor's note: the season after the current season, this action ran a bit long and occurred during the Skele-War Turn], ta make sure we didn' get into a mess when there wasn't need of one, ya?"

"We'll be meetin' next season [editor's note: this present turn] ta follow up on the Wizard and I think those Crabs in that Hill Ship we stumbled on back when we first landed here, I walked into Gudrun on the way back here and she's keen to give the Wizard another go at least."

"What else.....ah, right, what they were like martially. Didn't really have a chance to see them fight yet, but they were definitely man sized. Crablone had a little box that made a small flame, he used it to set a bit of paper on fire while he held it with his mouth? He said the Wizard had Spells that weren't illusions and something called a 'gun'er two', which he mighta used to kill Gudrun? Besides them being Man Sized Crabs with Pincers to match, can't think of anythin' to do with their ability in a scrum. Now for their magic, when I was Sniffing around for the Wizard in front of 'em, Crabony asked Crablone if I was wearin' a 'weredoggy or somethin', so makin' some assumptions it seems like- it's almost like they might wear their Fylgjur? And their Fylgjur aren't an Animal, but the Profession they pursue in life? They might be able to trade them? Crablone mentioned that there was another bounty who had a bunch of 'nakeds' with 'im, are those mortals or just those who haven't had a chance ta 'wear somethin'?" Bjarneson shakes his head, getting back on topic.

"Beyond all that, we were able to talk. We understood each other, and I don't right remember what tongue the three o' them were using. Could be part of the worn Fylgjur these three were wearin', could be somethin' about the Crabs in specific. I don't right know. They said they knew vikings, but I don't think I've ever heard of anyone coming back from a raid to a land of Crab Peoples."

"That's all I got that comes ta mind Ragnarr. I'll be 'round a bit if you got questions."

Ragnarr nods "That's very interesting information. I'll see if I can think of any questions after digesting it."

"We'll be meetin' next season [editor's note: this present turn]

Wait. I thought you made this meeting for next Summer? @I.F. Ister which of these is correct? It's actually super important for my turn, among other things.

Diplo meeting is next turn, this turn I'm going Hunting with my Bounty Hunter Crab Friends

Okay, cool. In that case:

[X] Ragnarr's Actions, Winter Year 2
-[X] Major - The Quest For Stone. Ragnarr is going to gather together an expedition to burrow downward and see if we can find stone in the depths of the earth (we expect we may also meet rattock doing this). Details to be determined based on participants.
-[X] Minor 1 - Spend extra time with his son, teaching him to fight, especially Glima, but also how to better avoid escalating confrontations in general, and to not come across as bossy. Spend time with his family in general.
-[X] Minor 2 - Attempt to repair relations with Erik, see if we can work on the kids getting along better.
-[X] Minor 3 - Assuming the Egging Frogs are hatching soon, take one clutch of eggs for his farm and help Alyssa take care of them, make sure the rest of his family helps as well, and learns how.
-[X] Minor 4 - Harvest 1 Wood from Steinarr's plot as long as he doesn't object @Ulvlar
-[X] Minor 5 - Spend significant time helping Hulfr make shields and armor, specifically adding runes to the items in question. Even more specifically "Blows that strike me harm the striker instead." on the shields and "Wearer and worn take no harm when struck." on the armor.

Ingegards turn plan:

Would you like to spend your Ordstirr first? Kinda your last chance if you're posting Major Actions.
