From beyond the grave Akali ponders how lucky he is that he'd left his land as untouched as a Jotunn's crotch before going off to die.

Would anyone be interested in joining the Horn Hunters Alliance? The idea is that we join forces to kill powerful Oni and eat their hearts until everyone in the group has eaten one.

Gefjosa would like to join.

She promises that she's learning how to fight better and she's really good/efficient at farming and can take care of peoples's land/farms while they're away…

Also maybe I can get horns?! If I eat enough of them?! Who gives a shit about hearts?!

Literally writing one right now lol, I'll have both up if not today then by tomorrow. I took a huge ass nap right after work.

"Oni's torn horn be as Norseman's worn beard. Tear one and wear, took a look to disturb Oni with thoughts dismal." Moli remarked.

[X] Agmundr Idskapadr Summer 2 (reposted)
-[X] Major Action: Thoroughly explore and catalogue any interesting animals, plants, anomalies, and any other potential resources I encounter in Sigmund Sigurdsson's Jungle Hills plot, Harald Logarson's plot, and Steinarr Stonelicker's plot.
-[X] Minor Action: Attend Moli Spotlight's post-battle celebration.
-[X] Minor Action: Help guard the Jarnblods' homes and family while Sigmund and Ragnarr are away on the expedition to the west.
-[X] Minor Action: Whenever I have the free time (probably not much, between clearing three square miles of jungle hills and then also helping guard Sigmund's house), rather than just brooding like normal, I'll be heading back to my hovel on my platform and manifesting my fylgja to discuss how things are going, what I should be training and how, working through some emotions I've been feeling recently about Grid and maybe helping me figure how to talk to her about it.
--[X] With regards to training specifically, I've been taking with two ideas recently: using my Hands to staunch my bleeding and in general help me hold my body together, and trying to develop an Iron Kunna to let me manifest some temporary blades so that I can actually use Multiweapon Fighting without having to borrow other people's weapons.
-[X] Minor Action: Try to actually implement the training that I and my fylgja figure out.
-[X] Minor Action: Help Harald with landscaping.
-[X] Minor Action: Help Moli with surveying.

Agnes comes forth from her warding circle.

"I have reached out to the spirits of this land we call home and bring good tidings.

"The shore we have washed upon is Catl-Ossi and bears us no ill-will. I have reached an understanding with her and received sweet Jörfling to help ensure peace between us." Agnes pulls out a pocketful of sand and coos at it for a second, before straightening up again, "She had even made mention of being willing to help defend our land if she is forewarned. My recommendation is to build a shrine in her name and sacrifice a beast to her. She claims to be the daughter of Haskistadr or Spine Coast as it was known before.

"I then reached out to spirits of land and hills we have tamed and found their spirits angry and hateful." Here Agnes sighs but continues with little more expression, "I made our case and put forth the offer of wergild, but they fell on deaf ears. Thus I had no choice but to put her down and leave the spirit of the hills heavily weakened. I am unsure how permanent each affliction will be.

"With these two vastly different introductions as evidence, I suggest that anyone planning on razing down more of the jungle should err on the side of caution, lest they have angry spirits at their doorstep."

Agmundr gets ready for some trouble, hearing this.

Well on that note anyone free next season to help a guy clear his land lol? Specifically someone with seeing eyes?

Also to note,

The local names of Vertebrae Range and Spine Coast seem to imply that this body of land, is indeed a body of land. Going deeper might find something very interesting...
