If we can prove that Horra was trying to fuck fuck games with the Court itself by ambushing us on the way to Asvir.. More Outlawry?

Is there any sentence we can get on Horra that's worse than being an Outlaw?

Well, it's like I said, on a vaguer level.

I'm pretty sure you don't get enough of a rep and stack of badass deeds to become a Steelfather in Norse society by sitting on your ass and letting someone else solve the area's local murder-problems for you after those problems have long since escalated past what any individual normal warrior can deal with themselves.
And when another Steelfather or high tier Ironbrother shows up to gank you and take your place?

That kind of nid might be a weight around the neck they couldn't quite afford

I doubt all of the Draugr are murder victims but a decent number probably are. I think the wrestler probably stumbled onto something he shouldn't and well when you've already killed the man might as well desecrate his body.

Halla wins by default if he's a no-show.

The strategy for court is to out-protocol your opponent. The facts of the matter are irrelevant if one side isn't following proper decorum and the other one is.
I can't remember the saga, but there's one where a guy loses because the crowd at the court is too thick for him to get in and defend himself (the podcast was unclear as to whether this was deliberate blocking or just a crowd crush situation).

A few questions to the thread and @Imperial Fister:
1. How much Drengskapr and Odrengskapr is Steinarr likely to have? He doesnt seem like a man well-loved or disliked by the community, even though he is respected for his martial prowess.
2. Have Steinarr interacted with Halfdan, and if so, what is his impression of Halfdan and vice-versa? Or is Halfdan just a strange neighbour that his daughter invited out of her outgoing nature?
3. How many of the 9 ambushing Steelfathers did Blackhand kill? 2, 3?
4. How likely is it for Ironjaw to be absolutely murked by the Enemy in the near future due to disrupting its plans?

We've been told he's actually well liked for helping out his neighbors, mediating disputes, and the like. So maybe not quite loved but definitely indicating a positive balance of Drengskapr to Odrengskapr.

Nope

Nope, it's perfectly legal to do things like that.

He's got positive drengskapr.

He never hesitates to help out when asked, which goes a long ways towards people deciding to die for you.

They've actually met once before. On opposite sides of a raid.

They don't particularly care one way or the other towards one another, though Halfdan likes Steinarr more than Steinarr likes Halfdan.

HalfdanQuest would've been panicking when they realized exactly who they swore eternal friendship to was.

Good question.
4. How likely is it for Ironjaw to be absolutely murked by the Enemy in the near future due to disrupting its plans?
Another good question.

I am a little surprised that Blackhand was unwilling to answer that question about "how many of the Steelfathers," and it'd be damned odd if he was unable to answer.

So, people seem to recognize ironjaw and The Weapon, but I sure don't remember anything about them. Maybe I missed a WoG? Can anyone sum up what we know about them for me?

Ironjaw is the one respectable Steelfather, he earned the title without ever actually taking steel into his soul. The weapon is something that can defeat the Enemy, maybe? It belongs to an ancestor of ours but I forget the exact details. I do remember he had nine steelfathers dropped on him when he was searching for it tho

This is the first time that Ironjaw's been mentioned in-story, I believe. He's one of the few Steelfathers that Blackhand actually respects.

The Weapon is a weapon to surpass metal gear steel. It is currently shattered into several different pieces all scattered about the place.

A lot of people have had different win conditions for your lives but my rule of thumb is if you manage to get a piece of The Weapon or not. If you do, then you've made actual progress.
No worries!

Hey Blackhand,

How many Steelfathers of the Jomvikingr did you kill?
Did Ironjaw consider you a friend?
How deadly a force should we be ready for if we ever wish to divulge the secret of Odr?

How many Steelfathers of the Jomvikingr did you kill?
'Four! Not a one was unbloodied by the end of it!'
Did Ironjaw consider you a friend?
'I'd... I'd like to think so, I guess... Next question.'
How deadly a force should we be ready for if we ever wish to divulge the secret of Odr?
'A proportionally scaling one. It will be strong enough to kill you.

The question is... can it kill you
and everyone else, while dealing with the sheer fuckery you've prepared for it?

That's one of The Enemy's most insidious traps. The easiest way of surviving the response is to be extremely weak at the time of divulgence, but if you have odr in any considerable amount — which is needed in order to learn it in the first place — then you are very strong indeed.'

Just strong enough to kill Halla is definitely not strong enough to kill Halla + Steinarr + everyone else (but mostly Steinarr). The question is what the best preparations we could make would be

To be precise, Blackhand said Ironjaw earned his respect for "rejecting steel". The idea of a Steelfather, who has incorporated the curse of Steel by definition, rejecting steel, is a contradiction. General thread assumption is that means he is Steelfather power level but not actually a Steelfather, which may or may not be true.
