"That..." Folkmarr begins, a happy smile on his face, "is utterly adorable."

There's a hint of something in his eyes, something that's quickly hidden by learned skill. It wasn't around long enough for you to identify it, but it reminded you of... jealousy? Envy? What does he have to be envious of? He's a Jarl!
Oh great.

Lets hope he isn't gonna be stupid about his crush.

[X] Attack the gate
The gate means we aren't with Folkmarr without hubby.
It also means we aren't with the pretty weirdo.

I think we'd be pretty useful for the walls since we can get up there with Ember-Winged Cloak. I imagine the felag has some sort of way of getting up there, but it might not be as reliable as EWC. On the other hand, a good portion of the felag is there, and we have a good chance for glory due to there being a bunch of soldiers on the wall.

I agree the gate is probably the best chance for glory. Not to mention that we could easily break it down with Ignition - although the felag most likely has a way to break it down already. Maybe their plan is to just walk up to it and punch it.

I think the mayor's house has the highest possibility of there being a knight, and we also get to aid in taking loot. There could be some shinies there that we want to prioritise.

Either way, I don't think I really care what we pick, although I'll hold off for now.

Keep in mind, the loot gets spread evenly, specifically who gets the loot is less important than us getting all of it.

True! I'm just thinking in terms of us being more likely to spot and/or more able to grab valuable things than NPCs are.

I actually think the envy is just because he wants to be in love, not necessarily him being into Halla specifically. I still think he was flirting earlier, but I also think that story helped with that, mostly simply leaving him envious of being in love in general. Which explains why he's not married, he's a romantic.

The way I understood it, he's more so just jealous of the fact that we fell in love with Abjorn, or something along those lines. It seems like he actually wants to find love, rather than marry for political reasons and whatnot. Or perhaps I completely misunderstood it; I barely know the guy.

Gate also has a group of enemies in 2 houses.
Houses that would make great targets to throw Kindle Spinners into.
they've got some wooden walls with a pair of gatehouses — about twenty fighters in each.

Using Ignition might be pretty risky now that I think about it, if you consider the fact that we're going to be surrounded by our allies while we attack the gate. Just something to think about - we'll probably be able to get away with a few Ignition Tricks, but we shouldn't rely on them.

i was thinking:
  1. door gets opened
  2. allies step back
  3. (if the room contains enough enemies) a handfull of kindle spinners fly at the group of enemies.

That's assuming that the guys in the gatehouse stay inside, which feels pretty unlikely, unless we somehow manage to stealth our way to them first. Which isn't happening with a bunch of glory-hungry vikings lmao.

Nevermind, it seems all the fighters are actually in the gatehouses. We should be able to get a Kindle-Spinner off before they realise what's going on. Although the guards on the walls might notice us and alert everyone before we can do so.

Also, the story of how Halla and Abjorn met is amazing lmao. Truly a perfect match.
