Quickly, we need to get as many people in our group to learn animalic hugareida!

Hey Halla,

Did Infusing Stigmar and Tryggr give them spotlight effects?
Does Blackhand have a 'spotlight' effect?
Does Bjorney have any spotlight effect?
What about the plants in your soulscape?
What about the spirits you gave Odr to?
What about plain Odr by itself?

i think the more interesting part is that if the pursuers are human contractors, as opposed to humanoids like the foemen, what separates them from the steelfathers? do the steelfathers not directly work for the enemy? are they merely bound to or coerced by him by agreement or by intimidation? is it because they become as steel and norse steel is under the enemy's authority? or is the difference between pursuers and steelfathers more of a difference in standard operating procedures, like what they're kitted our for and sent to do rather than what they are?

Steelfathers have, near as we can tell, absolutely nothing to do with the Enemy directly. The Enemy approves of them because it approves of cultural stagnation and thus of Steel, but they don't work for it or anything. They don't work for anyone but themselves, mostly. Steel is not actually affiliated with the Enemy, the Enemy just likes the results it produces.

Given that a Pursuer was described to be as unique as Halla, I imagine that they are constructed based on us.

Or, well, whoever is doing the Disclosing at the time.

If it's a Shadow Link/Wario Situation I'm wondering if they're a mirror match in the sense you're fighting you or if you're fighting someone who is your perfect counter

Either way, the best solution is to bring friends and team up against them. If they're a fair fight for you alone, you plus some friends is always gonna be a solid call. Though, as IF noted on Discord when I made this point there, that's actually a true statement for literally all fights. Always bring friends if possible.

Given that the Enemy appears to be seeking stagnation and encouraging cyclical time, I'd guess that it's a version of you a previous cycle/someone from a past era who followed a similar path as you.

Also I guess Steel growing stronger is why Fafnir/Grendel/Witch-king could come back. All things are cyclical. The same stories returning again.

Bringing back Christian Asgeirr theories for a second:

We can give him the past reading sword. It'd be great! Everything's coming together. It was all meant to be this way.

I just now remembered it existed because I was reading through the training items and then started reading other equipment info.

We should definitely let Eyvor have the katana and have her turn into a reserved edgy weeb Viking wielding her blade.

I was having shower thoughts and now this is bothering me.

Would swimming be an overland or sailing trick?

I mean, we had a meteor landing once that originated in china or japan. can we launch Evyor back there? to learn the arts of the weebs?

His advice was "don't do it anywhere near the valley" wasn't it? And he also didn't know about true norse cultivation and the ability to implant things in your soul.

Yeah, but I think planting anything we're unwilling to plant near our house in our soul is a really bad idea. We probably do want to plant one of the seeds somewhere isolated, maybe even next turn, but definitely not in our soul.

If the Enemy could choose, it would probably be the latter. I suspect it would likely either be an exact copy or a thematic opposite though.

Speaking for our Soulscape.

When will we try to recruit the Spirits? Would that be a Research action or a Social Action?

If it is a Research action when can do it during the travel towards Gotland.
