-[X] "I found an echo of a fight my grandfather, Hallr Blackhand, had with a local hero. I didn't have the time to investigate it yet, but plan to do so soon, would you as a Skald be interested in coming along?"

I'm dubious we want to tell her about this, and even more dubious we want to invite her along. She also won't be here any more by the point we're doing this in all likelihood.

[X] Plan: LIGHTNING BOLTS!

The Red Twist would be good for stamina, imo.

The Blue Twist, on the other hand, is a nice surprise when someone wants to get around us to attack our friends.

Hm.....

[X] The Blue Twist

-[X] "Do Skalds pick up intersting rumours, for example about Vestfold, or is that overshadowed by the heroic stories?"
That's not bad, do you think she knows anything about what's going on with the war that coming for the king that corpsemaker is serving?

No idea if she knows anything she'd tell us, but it feels plausible enough to vote for it, imho.
I could imagine her having an excellent read on general rumors and Zeitgeist, using them to make educated guesses to know where to search for stories and what stories people would be interested to hear. Her knowing everything we could hear from people not sworn to secrecy, with the mind to piece together additional details.
I could imagine her having no idea about it.
Or anything in between. Might be a question of luck/what qm wants us to know.

[X] The Red Twist

We have Standstill and exceptional armour, and are well on our way to getting Perfected Slowing Slog and Knightly Armour. The Blue Twist is piling redundancy on top of redundancy, whilst the Red Twist helps us get better at putting our enemies in the ground, which is the foundation everything else is built upon. The Yellow Twist would be interesting, but I don't think we're likely to go for it, and the thrill of violence draws me more.

I dunno what we do next honestly.

We could try asking Lidrun if she wants to come on our next trading expedition, and/or venture into the heart of the Hading and witness the echo of the legendary battle between Blackhand and Hasvir. Those seem like something a Skald might be interested in.

[X] Continue speaking with Lidrun of the Red-Scarf
-[X] Tell her that we're planning a trading expedition sometime this year, probably in late Spring or early Summer, as well as an expedition to the heart of the Hading around midsummer. There might be some exciting tales to be found in both and we'd welcome her along.

Our armor doesn't help us defend others, though Standstill can. This is a tad redundant with Standstill, but the Red Twist seems like a 'one vs. many' thing, which is a tad redundant with our AoE stuff...and adding stuff to either of those categories is good.

I don't think we're doing this for sure? I'm down with it if, and only if, we have some sort of reason to believe it'll be less exciting than our last trip which we don't actually have as of yet. Maybe something to ask the Gods during Yule?

The Red Twist seems like it's improving your stamina so you can fight for longer, as the Berserk took multiple challenges sequentially, and/or making you hit harder, both of which are generally really useful. The Blue Twist seems like it's some bonus to Intercepts or defence more generally, both of which are somewhat covered by Standstill. It has utility to be sure, but fundamentally I think the most important thing is lethality.

Our armour also sort of does help us defend others, given that we're in the process of equipping all our allies with really good armour.

Well, I want to do it for sure, which is why I'm voting for it. In general would like the quest to be exciting. The whole premise of that request is something I cannot get behind.

That being said, I think it's unlikely it will be quite as eventful as last time, because that was our first voyage and seemed to be an opportunity to drop a few plot anvils which had been waiting for a while.

[X] The Red Twist

Not sure why we'd want the yellow twist considering we already have Hidden in Rags and as for the blue twist our intercepts tend to involve HV or CM so I'm not sure if it would work all that well for us

Can we ask Lidrun about her Kenning?

Also we should ask her to tell the story of Sigurd the dragon slayer(not neccessarily telling her he's our ancestor). We might get some insight of Stoker state or born of fire stuff from it

I am a simple voter. I see Torsten Twoshields anything, I want to know more.

Also GLORIOUS NIPPON STEEL!

"The first Twist," the red strand wiggles, "recalls the time that a Berserk stood alone against impossible odds. With axe in hand, he stayed the course while challenging all those who came before him."
Vidar?

Anti-Army twist of some kind, it seems.
"The second Twist," the blue strand twitches, "recalls the time that a man of two shields threw himself bodily before arrow after spear-cast, stopping them all before they reached his wounded comrade."
Torsten Two-Shield

Intercept incoming attack twist?
"The third Twist," the yellow strand quivers, "recalls the time that a man in search of stolen treasure donned a dress to fool a Jotun."
That one sounds familiar. Like it was told many times.

Money is for spending.

[X] Go listen to what rumors are floating around
-[X] Especially around Vestfold, you don't plan on going there in the immediate future, but it'd be good to keep an ear open.

I'm in favor of the Red twist because wether its an anti army twist or a stamina twist either one seems good for Disclosure.
