Of course. We'll put our heds together and come up with a solution!

It... Shouldn't be actively impossible.

A good riddle should be solvable with the information the other person has.

Preferably within Norse mythos as well.

Though a couple of ideas:

"This binding was forged by man to bind down man, it's form shifting as needed to man's will. It can be wielded as a weapon against those held by it, yet those bound by it refuse to slip it's shackles."

(Answer: "The Law")

Are we actually able to make a riddle that IF can't solve while solving his own riddles, given he has a first strike advantage and I think we only have one shot to answer?

Might be safer to challenge him to a needlebinding contest?

Or maybe one of those contests that take a really long time.

Can we challenge him to a contest of sleeping, then run away while he's dozing off?

I like the idea of a sleeping contest, but he would probably hunt us down and destroy our home if we run away.

Regarding the riddles, we are basicaly 20+ vs 1. I am sure we can brainstorm well enough to come up with an answer.

What is that which is born of light, yet flees from it's embrace, which is cast by men living and dead, that we seek to step out of yet in doing so we make another?

"Shadows"

(Literally and metaphorically)

It dies every Yule,
Yet we find it living still when the day comes,
We can't see it yet we can name it,
What is it?

("Year")

Too obvious? More wordplay needed?

It cannot be seen, cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt.
It lies behind stars and under hills,
And empty holes it fills.
It comes first and follows after,
Ends life, kills laughter.

[Dark]

Alive without breath,
As cold as death;
Never thirsty, ever drinking,
All in mail never clinking.

[Fish]

It cannot be seen, cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt.
It lies behind stars and under hills,
And empty holes it fills.
It comes first and follows after,
Ends life, kills laughter.

I think these are little more polished

I just thought of something, a potential issue with this course of action, how is Heklr going to guess? Like, when you make a guess, it can be answered, when Heklr makes a guess...? I dunno
