I think we can reasonably assume that our neighbours are already catching and eating whatever fish are locally available, and this is sort of factored in to any determination of the overall food situation. Halla probably does not have enough of a unique talent for fishing that she'd be able to make much of a dent here. If we used Wavedancer and killed a small whale or a sea-serpent or something and managed to bring the carcass back, that could probably feed a lot of people for a while. But buying wheat is probably a safer bet.
Actually, @Imperial Fister, how far are we from the sea exactly? Presumably we're not that far because we have a ship after all, but I have no mental picture whatsoever of the rough geography here, and am apparently too lazy to search through until I find where it last came up.
[X] Plan: Bonnie and Clydesdale
-[X] Yes, you will buy some bling
--[X] But all three (30 oz. bling, costs 8 oz. silver)
-[X] Yes, you will buy a horse. You will buy TWO HORSES
--[X] Morningsilver
--[X] Sundancer
-[X] Talk to Audrikr and play a game of tafl while you're at it
--[X] Talk about Frenzy and Berserkr. First topic: Does Frenzy have uses outside of battle? Like in negotiations?

After settling on a final price for Morningsilver and Sundancer, you stowed the two halves of the debt-sticks in your belt pouch. With Tryggr and Trausti watching the amber and shells—going anywhere alone is, as you've learned, a bad call—you're free to give Audrikr your full attention without fear of the valuables being stolen.
"Hail, sister!" Audrikr calls out to you with wave—his newly-reforged winged spear standing upright on its own, "How goes the harvest?"
"Hail, Fishfighter," you reach out and lock forearms with the older man. "Harvest is fine, though the forest has been rather quiet. How's thirty treating you?" You eye the spear as he releases the handshake. "Nice spear, you have anything added to it? And are you up for a game of tafl?"
He grins and twirls it in hand, "Took a stanza from your poem and had storm iron added to the edge." Now that he mentions it, the subtle lightning-white is present on both his spear and Sagaseeker. Good for him! "I recently learned a few tricks that should help with quite a bit. But that's not all! I also had some runes added, though I reckon I'll keep what they do a surprise." His grin widens as he taps the wings—which resembles a fish's fins—and offers a sly wink.
As you whistle your admiration, your eyes drift to the side and settle on the bear in the room—Audrikr's presumed son. You nod towards the boy, the question obvious but still asked. "And who is this?"
"This is my eldest, Audvin," Audrikr claps his son on the shoulder as he smiles, pride in his eyes and voice—you can't help but notice how Audvin doesn't so much as sway from the blow, "He's taken after his grandfather for sure! Defeated three men of twenty in a single spar!"
'I think I remember an Audvin Seablade when I trod here in search of seidr. He was young when I met him, but had managed to survive Drysalt by the skin of his teeth so he was certainly a force to be reckoned with.'
Audvin certainly carries an air of power as he stands firm against the wind. Though he doesn't tower over the landscape like a Giant's Blooded, the strength in his limbs is obvious at first glance. With muscles packed dense, he'll be quite the monster once he's a man full grown.
If you were forced to make a guess, you imagine that you're looking at one of the top three strongest of Asvir's next generation.
"Audvin, eh?" You say as you offer a hand, which he takes with a firm grip. Something about that name tickles the back of your mind. Where have you heard that name before? "Say, Audvin, do you happen to know a Drifa Stensdottir by any chance?"
Where once was a stony, imperturbable façade now stands a wincing, grimacing youth. His shoulders slump as he sighs, "You heard about that?"
"She is my niece," you laugh as his expression falls further, but that laugh fades as fear flickers in his eyes, "of course I heard about her 'claiming an Abjorn for herself'."
"Hey, Halla," Audrikr cuts in and lays a hand on your shoulder, the deathly serious stare an odd look on his normally jovial face, "You remind your brother to stay away from my boy, you hear? You and I are friends, but that won't keep him safe if he thinks to threaten Audvin again."
His eyes stay locked to yours for a long while as you nod, your senses prickling as his Frenzy triggers yours. "I'll be sure to tell him that."
"Alright," a grin cracks the tension as Audrikr nods and claps your shoulder one last time. "Now, you were saying something about a game of tafl?"
You grasp the offered rope with both hands as you swiftly nod. Together, you move off to a secluded table as you retrieve the board and pieces from your fylgja. Audrikr left his spear with Audvin, who had taken up Audrikr's post in the meantime.
As you start playing, there's no real surprise at the fact that Audrikr's beating you. The first few games go by quickly, with the king either swiftly getting pinned or slipping off the board depending on who's playing which side.
The fourth game, though, is when you start to turn things around. With a clever play, you manage to leave Audrikr's king with a choice. He can either move towards the castle, which would force him to move away from the board's edge, or he can keep advancing and potentially sacrifice a number of his remaining soldiery in the process.
It was only as Audrikr advanced that you realized that your Frenzy was triggering off his movements. Shimmers of soldiers dance across the board, taking on lives of their own as they swing swords and clash shields. The king stands imperious as his men kill and die to keep him safe and sound. But despite the stoic posture, a flicker of fear passes in his eyes as your soldiers steadily gain ground.
A dozen moves later, that fear is made reality as your warriors run him through.
"Well played, Halla," Audrikr remarks as he picks his king off the board. He examines how the silver shines as he turns it this way and that. Eventually, he sets the monarch down and fixes you with a calculating stare. "You're practically buzzing with questions, so why don't you ask them?"
You grin as you eagerly take the opportunity to sate your curious soul.
What do you ask him?

AN: Not much to say here
No moratorium, I'm shooting for a second update so it'll be a short vote today. I got distracted by Bannerlord yesterday which is why there wasn't a second yesterday.

What are the meodalities for the quetions?
Top X questions with 2 or more votes get asked?
[X] Are there different uses for Frenzy beside predicting what my enemy will do in battle? Can I learn to use it in negotiations?
[X] Are there any Berserkr/Frenzy specific styles?
[X] How many shapecrafts do Berserkr usually get done?
[X] Do you know a good shapecrafter that I could visit?
^- We should get that knowledge, and we already know the secret of Odr, so just a big donation could get a shapecrafter to teach us. (Assuming they have relevant expenses)

Because I would like to get another one out today, I'll ask that you folks not go overboard on irrelevant questions. If we need to, I'll have it be the top five or something questions

These are all good. The other one on the list was:
[X] How much Frenzy do most Berserks have?
Which can be asked in-character due to Fasts being an in-character thing and each holding 1 Frenzy.
We actually knew about this incident and Sten got talked down from any real violence already, but he did need to be talked down. It's part of Norse culture for fathers to be very protective of their daughters, and while this incident was clearly on Drifa, I'm not sure Sten was quite as clear on that particular fact. Him being worried we'd react similarly explains the fear. We weren't aware Sten had actually threatened the poor kid, but he has already been talked to on the subject.
It works in battles not casual discussions. It applied during our court case, but not more casual stuff. Using it in a negotiation is probably doable but not a very friendly thing to do.
"but not more casual stuff"
A casual game of Tafl is triggering it. The visions aren't that casual, but the game between Halla and Audrik is.
Interestingly it took a few games for the effect to start. So there could be uses for it we just haven't realized yet.
And if we can learn to use it in negotiations (without trying to kill the other side) it would be a free +5 from Frenzy. (and better when we raise it)

Taafl is already competitive and there's no way to make it unfriendly just by your tactics barring cheating...the same isn't true of talking and making a deal. Like, Frenzy shows you the tactically optimal way to victory...that's not always gonna be a great call when talking to someone.
I do agree that asking about it might reveal ways to use it a tad less adversarially and we should explore that, just noting why it may not be helping us in casual shopping.

Depends on your definition of "victory", doesn't it?
While not always apropriate "get the best price possible without angering my competitor (or while my competitor is still believing I'm doing them a favor)" would be useful in most shopping situations.
What about frenzy tricks? unless there was a QM word on it I already forgotten?
on the way
[X] are there any way to target an enemy Frenzy directly without going through armor?
[X] are there any way to overclock the Frenzy for a larger advantage in return for temporarily burning it out?

Given that frenzy flooded our minds with how to murder our children when we first got it, I think it's a slightly blunter instrument than that. Like 'get the best price possible' or 'make sure not to anger my competitor' are likely goals it can help with. Both at once? I'm less sure. It can do multiple goals in physical combat, but that's simpler than social conflict in some ways.
Spending Frenzy on normal Tricks doesn't work, so Tricks that cost Frenzy seem to not be a thing. That probably means no burning Frenzy for a temp boost either, though it's not impossible if it's innate rather than a Trick. A conventional Trick that targets Frenzy seems very possible, though I'm not sure what form that would take or what skill it would fall under.

Yeah, I think it being innate is a possibility without any outside trick, overexerting it, in a way. through the fact we don't know if you can overexert your endurance for whatever benefit imply otherwise, unless it is another thing that dear father forgot to teach us too.
With Focus as the Knights equivalent, and thus likely to be also effected, it will be both be very useful, not just against the odd Breserker, and have a lot of drive toward discovering, learning and developing it.
...Do we know if the standardish Steelfathers have Frenzy? Hooknails got some, and he was implied to be a possible future Steelfather.

Endurance is a reflection of how much damage you can take, it doesn't ebb and flow like Frenzy. Spending it isn't impossible, but it'd be odd. I suspect Steinarr doesn't have any options that do that, though they could exist.
