Updates to Heroes-
Jango:
Brothers In Arms - The Cuy'val Dar: Jango once hired on some of the best mercenaries he could find to help train the GAR's clone commandos. While their numbers have slightly dwindled due to various factors, Jango has reunited them as an elite unit under his command, giving him considerable flexibility both on and off the battlefield. And with the addition of his sister Arla and ex-Jedi Etain the group has become more dangerous than ever. +6 Martial, +6 Intrigue, +4 Lore was +4 Martial and Intrigue so +2 Martial and Intrigue and +4 Lore

Ciaran:
Soresu Adept: You have also learned the techniques of Form III/Soresu of Lightsaber combat from Obi-Wan...even if you're not quite as skilled with it as Makashi. +3 Martial

This puts Ciaran at 42 Martial, Assajj has gained +2 from rivals trait putting her at 41. Jango is now at 39 martial.

Edit- okay stats update on the tracker, Jango is now our number 1 intrigue hero unit but still is 8 behind Ciaran.

Martial- Ciaran is first by 1, while Thrawn and Assajj tie one behind her at 41 (though each suffer in the others chosen area). Still a log jam there including Ciaran we have 7 heroes ranging from 37 (Silencer) to 42 (Ciaran)

ATTENTION OMAKE WRITERS:

I've just finished doing the recruitment rolls and I am pleased to announce that there are now 3 new Abysswalkers that just got promoted! Feel free to do something for the new band of lunatics and psychos that have joined the illustrious ranks of the Walkers if you so choose.

That is all.

i want them to all be related. that is all.

Do people know Ciaran's background? Not us but the galaxy. Would be a little surprised if people didn't try to look up where she was born, parents, and what she was like before she became the lady she is today.

I had considered an Ex Naboo Security who mainly works for Senatorial Security Services as the head of Padme's guard detail. But I have no time for omakes.

So can I request someone make a buff hutt abysswalker.
Uncle Borvo just wanted to get his grandson a makework job to keep him safe, had him put in charge of security on one of the minor bases, and it's not like we could complain with what Silas gets up to. Turns out that the kid still hasn't grown out of liking to personally crack some heads, and against all expectations is terrifyingly good at it.

Also: a Hutt with Matukai training can pick up a speeder and beat someone to death with it if he needs to. No one's really arguing about giving him field work after that incident.

Just give the grandson a name and I think we're all set for a canon Abyss Walker.

Does anyone have any ideas for what Javik's expertise could be? To remind you, he's the Devaronian agent with Guardian background that sometimes appears in my omakes. He's been background so far but I'm considering making an omake so that he can be brought up to Abyss Walker.

Pretty much, just give me ideas for what you consider to be an effective Agent and I'll write an omake from that.

Designated only sane guy?

Interesting fact about Hutts, they can survive insane amounts of damage before being taken out of a fight and even then they are usually not dead just need to heal. I remember one story (forgot which one sorry) which had a hut survive a fire fight not because he dodged or used cover but by simply wading through the blaster fire and broke the attackers with his bare hands. Afterwards he was missing half his head and you could see through some of the holes in his body but he left under his own power complaining about how hungry it had made him and how he would need to avoid public appearances for a while.

Interrogation expert, both in the field under cover where he is friendly, and with captives where he is... not.

Gargonn the Hutt.

Yeah, Jabba went out like a little bitch by Hutt standards. Their skin is tough enough to ignore low powered blaster fire, plus it ignores all but the most caustic chemicals, that slime is remarkably good at dispersing what physical impact that doesn't actually slide off of them, the fat is actually a layer of thick blubber pretty much entirely designed to absorb wounds, and beneath it they're basically nothing but muscle and redundant organs.

And, as mentioned, they can eventually regenerate from basically anything that doesn't kill them. Though that can take centuries for severe enough injuries. Oh, and they live for centuries. Jabba is six hundred years old and he's just starting to approach middle age. They're not considered "old" until they're eight to nine hundred years old and there's at least one Hutt that lived for seventeen hundred years without any kind of exotic aid.

Also for the Buff Hutt do remember that there is a thing called Hutt Battle Armor that is incredibly good

so just take our Buff Hutt, give him a suit of this and some kind of weapon designed for blunt impacts and he'll be set.

(Omake) Abysswalker Dossier: Goraah the Hutt (Canon)
Abysswalker Dossier: Goraah the Hutt
[Clearance Level: Maroon]
Name: Goraah the Hutt

Background Check: A distant relative of Borvo, the son of the sister-in-law of a nephew of his second cousin, who according to what could be uncovered was primarily raised by some enforcers under his mother's employ while she focused her attention on her business, a small spice mining operation. Apparently when he was a child the enforcers he was under the care of took him along when they did their primary job of beating down the miners when they got rowdy about the working conditions. We're still trying to figure out if it was the result of the Enforcer's 'parenting' skills, a blow to the head during his early development, exposure to raw spice as a baby or a combination of all of these factors but the end result was that by the time he reaching adolescence Goraah had developed a love of participating in close quarters combat with several records showing that he frequently participated in some local fighting pits, most notably holding the position of reigning champion of one of the larger ones.

According to Borvo there was an incident at a local bar that spiraled into an all out brawl which left over a dozen dead, including a Wookie who's head had been smashing through a wall, and Goraah with over a dozen different melee weapons lodged in his body. Apparently that had been enough for Goraah's mother to call in a minor favor Borvo owed her so that he could "Break that boy out of this warrior phase" and make him a proper Hutt. From there Borvo apparently put him in charge of managing the logistics of one of our minor bases, the ones we use to train new recruits, and gave him some advise on how to do his job while skimming a little off the top for a nice tidy profit, all within acceptable ranges and already accounted for in the base's operating budget. But within the week Goraah had hoisted the majority of his job onto a subordinate, which Borvo expected, and instead ended up essentially control of the base's close quarters/unarmed combat training regime. After that, and an incident where he threw a parked speeder at a particularly cocky recruit, Goraah was reassigned and quickly climbed the ranks until he appeared on our radar as a potential Abysswalker.

Personality: Goraah is noted to be unusually direct, favoring brute force where applicable and possessing a level of battle lust to rival most Kaleesh. Has been noted to hold a high respect for Grievous ever since hearing about his exploits from others within the Abysswatcher and has expressed a desire to spar against him whenever possible. Also on a side note Goraah has a hobby of hand crafting scale replicas of historic battles and has devoted the majority of his living space to such displays, Thrawn says they are rather well done and remarkably accurate with only a few minor errors that have since been corrected.

Combat Evaluation: Goraah has shown a talent for melee combat utilizing a combat style similar to Djem So although with a notable alteration in that he will occasionally allow an opponent to strike him in a non-vital location, trusting his natural durability, in order create an opening for a brutal counter attack be it with his own weapon or, as has become an increasingly frequent case ever since he learned Matukai techniques, a force empowered punch. However in terms of ranged combat or force abilities, with the exception of those that augment his already impressive physical abilities, he has been shown to be below average.

In terms of equipment Goraah utilizes what is essentially a two-handed mace based version of an Electro-Staff sized for a Hutt that has been heavily reinforced to withstand the punishment his strength inflicts upon it.

During combat simulations Goraah has been best utilized as either a line-breaker against enemy formations or as a highly durable and dangerous distraction for other members of his team. One of his favorite tactics is simply bursting through a wall and smash his opponents with a wide swing of his mace. Also it has been noted that when confronted with an enemy position he can't easily close in upon he tends to grab the heaviest thing he can reach (be it a speeder, large rock or simply ripping a pillar out of the ground) and throw it at the enemy position, effectiveness varies but it does tend to surprise the opposition.

Final Evaluation: Promotion of Abysswalker approved, recommend utilizing him primarily in combat missions ideally under Grievous. Can serve well as a melee specialist during operations and possesses the traits needed to act as a front line combatant where needed.

Advise Acquiring specialized equipment such as Hutt Battle Armor to further augment his capabilities.
