(Omake) Damages (Canon)
Damages

"S-statement: I am ready to assass-assass-assass-kill your enemies Master." Ciaran looked on in shock as her prized assassin droid stuttered and sparked in her office. A notification came up on her desk, informing her of the Foundry team's return. It would have been impressive that HK-47 beat the message even if he wasn't so obviously damaged.

"Are you… sure you're okay?" asked Ciaran warily. "No severe damages sustained retaking the Foundry?"

"Deception: DECEPTION ROUTINES DAMAGED. Structural integrity is at risk, several subroutines have been rendered inoperable, and voice processors are degra-degrad-on the fritz. Statement: I am eager to eliminate my targets now that the Foundry is under our control." Sparks flew from the droid's neck as he stuttered over words, and he didn't seem to have realized that he hadn't actually lied to her.

Rather than respond, Ciaran pushed a button on the intercom. "Cheriss, would you come to my office immediately."

It wasn't phrased as a question, and Cheriss noticed. "Right away, ma'am."

"Ooh, you're in trouble!" Ciaran herd Galvin's voice, distinct even as it was muted, before Cheriss released the button on her end.

Neither Ciaran nor HK-47 moved, though the latter's fixation to the spot may not have been voluntary, standing in relative silence for a few minutes until Cheriss arrived. "Whatever you heard about my meeting with Galen Erso, it isn't true. Probably." The Shard finally took notice of HK-47's dismal state. "Oh dear! What happened to you?"

Ciaran glanced down at her report. "Apparently he was launched approximately twenty yards at high velocity into solid durasteel. Obviously, there's been some damage. I'd like you to take a look at him as soon possible." Ciaran turned her head to 'look' at HK-47. "And he's not to leave the lab until he's back to one hundred percent. Am I understood?"

Cheriss hesitated, not sure if that last part was directed to her or the droid. HK seemed to make up his mind faster than she could. "Agreement: Very well Master. I will submit myself to these repairs, so that I can more quickly ensure your enemies are dead-dead-dead-cadaverific." said HK-47, short circuiting once more.

"Cheriss, I'm trusting you to get HK back in fighting shape. I'll have need of his talents soon." said Ciaran, nodding to her Chief Engineer.

"Absolutely ma'am!" Cheriss began to escort her new charge out of the room, mentally preparing for a few sleepless nights to get everything in working order.

"Oh, and Cheriss?" Cheriss turned back, pausing at Ciaran's prompting. "You'll be telling me what kinds of things I might have heard about you're meeting with Galen Erso later." Cheriss simply nodded, leaving the room a few shades paler.

AN: Poor hunter-killer was the only one hit in Foundry, by Revan's Monster no less. I figured he needs some bedrest/maintenance, no matter how much he oh so desperately wants to go kill stuff for us.

Tell him that he would be more effective at killing things if he's in fully operational condition?

Cheriss simply nodded, leaving the room a few shades paler.

A few shades paler, eh? Once again we have another evidence that by now likely nobody remembers that she is a Shard, piloting a Replica Droid. That body alone must cost as much as we spend per turn considering how much she must have crammed into it to emulate EVERYTHING.

Some proposals:
1. Would it be possible to publish some of the historical findings without people guessing we've got the foundry? There might be some historians who would pay a lot for accurate data on that period. Alternatively, how about publishing it under the name of one of our heroes or advisors? Getting some academical recognition might be usefull, and If we could hide the foundry while doing it, I see no reason not to spread some knowledge. (For some reason those got me the weird Idea of Thrawn going for the republic equivalent of a doctor title)
2. I've bee thinking about the vault. There should be a number of trophies left over from the foundry, but what would end up in the vault?
3. With Dr. Rip getting so much character development (loved the kalee batlecry btw), Kygeetu, the most senior walker, would profit from a bit of that as well. I've been trying and failing to write something about her. I feel like she would be the type to try and watch the video from anakins fight against bulk to pick up a bit of vaapad.

Right then, might as well acknowledge omakes:

So...I suppose that given the no-spoilers-before-the-update policy on the Foundry Raid, I can't yet submit this omake...

outside a spoiler box, in keeping with the rolls having been within one for the past two days.

Well as you may have noticed, this isn't canon but I did end up using bits of it in the actual update anyway. Still have the +10.

This is so perfect. Canon, +10.

I don't know what it is about this omake but I nearly died of laughter as I read it. Canon, +10.

Also Panory, worth pointing out that odds are HK would meet the new PR-1 in the labs. That's gotta be omake fodder right there.

I figure that even between the major upgrades she's using her blank checks she gets as Chief Engineer to help make her body look even more normal, for lack of a better word.

1. Probably would fall under the "let's make a movie franchise about Revan" actoin.
2. I'll think of something. Edit: Thought of some things. And it's a 2 for 1 deal to boot!
3. Don't look at me, @Panory is the one who created Kygeetu. Go ask them :V

Strategist: While Thrawn is a capable soldier his abilities are more focused towards commanding troops than actually fighting on the ground. Martial is at 1/2 of normal when placed in direct combat (Increased to 7/8 due to Mandalorian Training and Mind of a Soldier).

Mind of a Soldier: After fighting alongside Grievous and his Kaleesh during the last Foundry raid Thrawn has gotten a much more acute understanding of what it means to be a soldier, and just as importantly how they can exceed themselves given the right motivation. +3 Martial, penalty from Strategist decreased
Here's Thrawn's new trait and the way it affects Strategist.

Martial: 32+3+1+2+3=41 (There are few if any beings in the galaxy who can hope to be his equal in military strategy. And anyone who believes that he would be helpess in a fight would be sorely mistaken.)
And here's Thrawn's new total Martial! He's getting close to being one of the best fighters as well as best commander.

Even after reading through this whole quest I really don't know much about Star Wars, but she seems like one of the few unambiguously good characters in the setting.
Yup. As far as I remember, she never even used her light saber, but was IMMENSELY powerful, so much so that, get this, after having survived a battle that killed other Jedi Masters, two explosions, and Ventress stabbing her through the back, she would have eventually recovered and went on with life.

However, there was an antidote to a bioweapon that she knew the Republic needed, so she helped Obi-Wan with the final bits of her strength so that he could deliver it.

Here's another omake count!
Between reaching the cap for Turn 28 (44 omake bonuses) and the 49 omakes we've 'banked' for Turn 29, that means that we are starting this upcoming with a sum total of 113 omake bonuses.
Between the two 'Personal Attentions' and not using one of the three Hero actions this turn, we only 'spent' 38 of our omake bonuses rather than the full 44. That means that we currently have 75 omake bonuses in the 'bank' for Turns 29 and onward.
In the last fifty pages (Dr. Snark posted the latest turn almost immediately after the last omake count, so we racked up quite a few pages in short order) since the last count, we've added 9 additional omakes to the thread, bringing our new total to 84 omake bonuses in the bank.

EDIT: including Stealthy's account books, we added 10 more omakes, bringing our new total to 85 bonuses in the bank.

A question for @Dr. Snark:
It's not an omake, but @Stealthy pulled together an honest-to-goodness account book (double-entry spreadsheets and everything) for this quest to use. Any chance you could give him a +10 bonus for doing such a great job with it?

Shit I completely forgot to complement them on their insane dedication to making it easier for people to handle finances. Of course they'd get a +10 for that!

Truly a saint!

Oh trust me, I have no shortage of ideas involving PR-1's rockin new bod. Foundry stuff was just more relevant.

I have things to do you know. Important things. Things that are now on hold while I write some character development.

I'm honestly imagining an end-game confrontation where Palatine finally realises he's screwed and it's all Ciaran's fault.
When taken by surprise by the last-ditch revenge move of the most powerful, what else could she call on than the force strength of those who support her?

You know I'm curious.
Given this information:
Attitudes:
Palpatine: Plotting. Considers you a minor annoyance.
Dooku: Working with you as a clandestine ally against Palpatine.
Padme: Considers you her best friend, spends more time with you than anyone else... not that she has much of a choice.
Obi-Wan: Considers you a suspicious but helpful ally, wishes you would stop teasing him over his love life.
Anakin: Complicated relationship, but ultimately trusts you to make sure he never becomes Vader.
Jerec: Sees you as a highly valued associate in his work.
Siri: Grateful for your help, exasperated at various subtle comments about a certain someone.
Ferus: Retired from the Order, promised to help you every once in a while if he gets the chance to repay you for saving Darra.
Darra: (Accurately) thinks you are a criminal mastermind and doesn't trust you at all.
Soara: Tentatively willing to work with you under her purview as a Sentinel
Satine: Dislikes you personally, but considers you to be an invaluable part of the CNS.
Kal: Has partnered with you as an ally of desperation. Doesn't quite trust you but is willing to work with you.
Raith: Eager to work with you, willing to hear out any ship proposals you have.
Bail: Grateful to you for preventing the attack on him, working with you to try and curtail Palpatine's influence.
Seti: Respects you, doing everything he can to ensure Fresia and Incom's support.
Ahsoka: Has finally met you in person, has no idea what she's gotten herself into. Has been forming an odd friendship with Thrawn of all people.
Talzin: Willing to help you kill the Sith leaders, very protective of Asajj.
Suberoa: Leery of you, willing to cooperate so long as Taris isn't threatened by you.
Mon Mothma: Slightly wary of you but is working with you to help stop Palpatine.
How confused would someone who knows Star wars but not the quest be?

(Omake) The Survivor (Canon)
The Survivor

The Suarbi system is a backwater. It holds 8 planets, including the gas giant Suarbi 7 and its 11 moons. Suarbi 7 itself is not particularly noteworthy, its moderate concentration of Tibanna gas supporting a small refining operation like thousands of other Gas Giants throughout the galaxy. The only truly noteworthy thing about it is Suarbi 7's 5th moon, Susevfi. Once a member of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, it joined the Council of Neutral systems in the later half of 20BBY. All in all, it is a thoroughly unremarkable, self sufficient world like many in the galaxy. With one notable exception.

As the Sun set upon the beaches of Yumfla, the captial of Susevfi the buzzing hum of lightsabers filled the air. Two young warriors step forth, their blades seeking the armored female figure in the center. She steps backwards, dodging their blows before retaliating swiftly. Her blade arcs in blows as her opponents swiftly backpedal, jumping far clear of their mutual opponent.

"Is that all you can do?" She inquires calmly. "You won't be able to defend against the Jedi like that."

The two of them glance at each other before nodding. Suddenly the sand begins to drift upwards as they focus their powers on it. With another nod they each send a stream of sand pelting towards the armored figure at high speeds.

"Impressive... but not enough." The figure states as a whirlwind of sand rises forth to deflect her opponents blows.

They charge in after her blades seeking her shoulder. She raises her off hand gauntlet to block one of the blows, the lightsaber sizzling on contact. Her own lightsaber clashes with her remaining opponent, deflecting it deftly and counter attacking with speed. Her blade arcs out, inflicting a light burn on her opponents shoulder, and revealing to any onlookers that her blade is a training saber. The remaining opponent tries to maneuver around the defending gauntlet, but a quick pivot and a well timed force push has him on his back, defeated.

"Good effort, I expect to see you more at practice next weekend." The armored figure says.

"Yes Saarai-kaar." The two force wielders say with a bow.

As they turn and leave the Saarai-kaar seems to pause for a moment, before turning and walking along the beach. As the sun sets she comes across three gravestones, humble unmarked things. She bows before them, before turning and leaving silently

Later, the Saarai-kaar strikes a very different figure. Gone is the intimidating armor and lightsaber, and in its place are comfortable sweatpants, a t-shirt, and a galaxy's best mom cup full of caff. She smiles tiredly and flicks on the holo with a precise force push.

"Time to watch my favorite show." She says with a smile before stiffening as the sigil of the Jedi order appears.

The announcer, one John Sei'lar, continues his speech "Now some of you are probably confused, and are asking yourself questions like "Temple Jedi?" What's that? I thought there was only the one Jedi Order? And "what the hell's a Sith." I certainly thought so when I started researching this segment, and it turns out that I couldn't have been more wrong. Not only are there multiple Jedi Sects, and there are many organizations of non Jedi force users as well." A variety of sigils appears behind him, each representing a force order. "There's a rich history behind each of them and relations and grudges going back thousands of years. Frankly, I have no idea what the hell's going on. Here to tell me what the hell's going on is our special guest, and the leader of the second largest force organization in the Galaxy. Everyone, please give a warm welcome to Jedi Lord Cerulian!"

She watches with rapt attention as her son barges in the room. "What're you watching mommy?"

She turns to him "Next Week, Today." She replies, "I find it a good show, much better than that pro-Palpatine rot." She frowns as the Jedi begins speaking.

"Should we turn it off?" Her son asks.

"No, he isn't from the main temple, so there might be at least something worth looking at." She replies.

They watch the show in silence as Cerulian gives his speal, frowning at the depiction of the Sith"But I'm sure your audience isn't interested in musty old spats like this, are they?"

"Musty old spats, huh?" the woman says, watching with her wine glass held in hand, as she swirls it contemplatively.

The boy pouts "Mom!" He cries. "I don't trust anything that Jedi says."

She smiles and pats her son's head "I don't trust him either."

The boy pouts "Then why are we watching mom?"

She smiles gently down at him. "Because I can't say that he's wrong."

"But." The boy interjects heatedly.

I don't know enough sweetie." She says with a frown "I don't know enough to tell you if that man is lying.

"But dad…" The boy cries out.

"Is gone" She says gently. "I am the leader of the Jensaari, the followers of the hidden truth, and as much as I wish it were otherwise, I don't have much truth to share."

The Jedi continues to speaks every word falling like a hammer towards the young Jensaari ""It is important to draw wisdom from different places. If you take it from only one place it become rigid and stale. The Jedi have drawn their wisdom for the past 1000 years from the Telosian strain of Jedi Philosophy first espoused by Jedi master Atris. It has become stale. It's time to seek out new wisdom, not forgetting the past, but learning from others." After a moment, he shrugs "Or at least that's what this old man thinks."

She stares at the projector as it turns off, before glancing at a simple holo of three people, with three names.

Nikkos, Sarah, Rajivari. Not even the force may keep us apart.

She sighs tiredly "Oh Nikkos, just what do I do?"

A/N: I have an omake of someone watching my omake. I'm not quite sure how this happened.

Sorta. Nikkos Tyris is a legends star wars character that shows up in flashbacks in I, Jedi. He also has an unnamed wife, who ends up leading the Jensaarai, and an unnamed son who ends up being killed by Vader. I gave them names here, the wife a normal name to depict her relatively plain background, and the Son is named after the proto sith who split off from the Je'daii and started this whole mess. The Jensaarai are pretentious like that.

At least three different spellings for the name of the system in the first paragraph.

At this point...I dunno, burn 10 omake bonuses to gain an extra action once per turn? That's about the only way we'd go through them.
