Huh, the Jedi would know nothing of Darth Vectivus, given he's one of the Baneite Sith.

So, depending on how he interprets Ciaran's actions and apparently intimate knowledge of a particular Sith he could come to some interesting conclusions.

I mean, Ciaran is definitely a Sith 'disciple' of sorts , given how foundational finding that Holocron was I'd wager anyone familiar with modern Sith would recognise certain influences if Ciaran were ever pushed.

It might be worthwhile cultivating a scholarly relationship with Anakin, Ciaran already has a good collection of info on non-jedi traditions and Anakin is clearly developing an interest in unorthodox traditions.

He could be her study buddy! It'd be nice to have a friend to go treasure hunting with again.

Siena does make some small capital ships. They're the designers and producers of the Marauder Class Corvette, which is one of the most widespread "independent" capital ships, albeit a small one. Commissioning a stealth line of corvettes should be well within their means.

He is probably already working on those, if he hasn't already completed this design.

Stealth ship

Not to mention that their company was the designers for the Interdictor-class cruiser so they do have experience with designing capital ships. If they still have said designs in their files, I suspect that such would be put to good use as the CNS primary capital ship, because to be perfectly honest, said design was centuries ahead of its time.

I think Ciaran's INTENTION was just to tell Anakin that he can walk away from the whole Light/Dark dualism of Jedi and Sith. Which is a valuable point backed by historical precedent.

Whether that's what Anakin actually heard...

In any case, if somebody inquires, it's very easy for Ciaran to just point out that Anakin and Padme obviously have a THING and she was just being a good friend by trying to look to her friend's happiness. They can't really be happy if Anakin remains a Jedi, but leaving the Jedi or even becoming a Sith doesn't require you to go full Stupid!Evil and any well-informed person could tell you so.

Ciaran has no knowledge of the 'restore balance to the Force' thing IIRC. Of course, if she did, decimating the Jedi peacefully by pushing the 'Grey Side' of the force would be a valid way to do so.

Poor Sienar; he must have almost fainted when he saw the ship design.

The funny thing is that he might think of us as a Sith now.

The original design was the creation of Darth Tenebrous, the master of Darth Plagueis. It was given to Sienar by the sith for production.

Not precisely. The original Star Courier was a Darth Tenebrous design. Scimitar, however, is extensively modified, including the change of entire engine assembly, installation of additional weapons and stealth device and re-design of cooling systems to let them handle all this new hardware. The design of the modifications was performed by Sienar.

Moreover, Sienar may not know that Scimitar was used by Sith. All he definetely knows is that it was made for a powerful government conspiracy which seeks to establish a new galactic order, holds (or expects to use) racist pro-human views and includes Tarkin (at least by the point of Rogue Planet book).

He could have learned about the Sith between Rogue Planet and current point, though.

His contact with the conspiracy predates the Naboo blockade, and it was immediately before Naboo blockade that Palpatine revealed himself as a Sith lord to a non-sith for the first time. It was a pretty big deal to him, from emotional standpoint (described in Darth Plageous).

I just want to see the look on Palpatine's face when he goes all "Anakin, you know, the Jedi aren't the only force users. There are the sith," and Anakin just goes "Oh yeah, Lady Ciaran told me all about them."

If Jedha ends up being canon for this quest, we should totally take Anakin with us. Would definitely be an eye opening experience regarding all the different kinds of force religions in the galaxy.

We also got new stuff in the Vault, only just noticed :D

Hey, I take updating that thing seriously. Speaking of which, I do need to do that for these new actions.

Question @Dr. Snark . Has it ever been said if Dooku or Sidious ever figured out that we ruined their blackmail on us? Or do they just no longer care?

No, but I don't think it's a spoiler to say that it's a little bit of A, mostly B. The thought basically is "We know she's nullified some of the blackmail and she's becoming too much of a nuisance, keeping her around is no longer worth it."

Is there any chance we could (now or later) send one or more of these Heroes on an expedition to try to recruit more of their respective faction for our nascent Grey Jedi order? Asajj would have to wait until we're confident in her integration with the Abyss Watchers (plus she'd need to avoid Palpatine's notice...) but is there anything keeping Cheriss from visiting her kin on Dweem?

That's certainly a possibility; and to be honest it would be more Diplomatic actions which I desperately need right now.

We know she survived the Tusken raiders with our help -- did we ever do anything about that? She's the mother of the most powerful Jedi of this generation, which means she represents leverage. Did we ever extend an offer to hire her, or did she just return to the Lars homestead?

For the time being she's just returned to the Lars homestead with only relatively light surveillance from the Watchers. Though after the incident with Anakin nearly knocking Ciaran out through raw power, Ciaran's definitely going to be looking into options like having her be a part of her humanitarian efforts, if only just to make it easier to keep an eye on her.

My only complaint about the last update was that it didn't include any Ahsoka fun.

Honestly I do want to do more Ahsoka stuff, really! The problem is there is no way in hell I could see someone like her at a ritzy rich-snobs only type of party. She was out and about doing much more fun things in the meantime.

One possible way to add more diplomacy actions is for Jabba to gift, trade, or sell his Sith holocron.
It leads to potential fun.

if we could by and or steal his sith/jedi/anything to deal with the force that would be fun
also mister snark. a idea for diplomatics could be something as simple as have a council for the nuruals, to talking to the jedi.

Well I would at the very least be interested in seeing Anakin and Obi-wan giving Ahsoka different answers when she asks about the party and lady Ciaran.

...I can do that. Call it a "mini-interlude." A "minilude," if you will.

It shouldn't take me too long anyway since it'd only be a pair of short conversations.
