I had a sudden thought for how we might deal with Murkana and the CIS Shadowfeed:
The problem with Murkana, is that it lies deep in the heart of CIS Space, and Corporate Alliance would have little reason to abandon the Separatist cause given that it has one of the few votes on the ruling Separatist Council, and is sufficiently far removed from the front lines that its operations are basically undamaged.
However, there is another option: hack the Shadowfeed to gain access (without letting anyone know), build our own control center on Taris, then take over the network.
Problem: this would take quite a bit of time & quite few actions.

Talesan Fry?
Turns out the guy with the one-size-fits-all code-broker has a
massive grudge against the Corporate Alliance, a.k.a. the organization responsible for killing his parents, a.k.a. the organization he's been blackmailing for the better part of two decades, a.k.a. the organization that controls the Shadowfeed.
If we want to recruit Taly -- as an ally, as an advisor, as a Hero unit -- then the easiest method would be to give him resources & political cover while he hacks the living daylights out of the Corporate Alliance. He gets revenge (and more blackmail material), we get the Shadowfeed (and control of the Outer Rim), win-win.

So if we plan on building our Shadowfeed control center, we'd probably end up contracting with Talesan Fry to do it.
...Can we
please make him a Hero unit? (Pretty please?) All of this would be
perfect for a series of Hero actions. Or we could keep him as a distant ally and let him do his thing, but it'd be so much more
fun to bring him onboard and watch him work his magic.
