The Pau'an mods are the closest you're going to be able to get to that (the Arkanians have tried the full age reset/extended lifespan thing before on themselves and it's never really panned out).

Believable. The problem in Star Wars is that no one seems to actually have found a way to natural extend lifespans over the past thousands of years and the few that do work are essentially powered by the dark side.

Plus genetic studies was not well known when Star Wars first came out so to prevent causing a massive retcon, most writers don't even bother with it. Especially since Star Wars scales to Science Fantasy to the extreme. Genetic studies are essentially in their infancy despite all the advance technology the setting has that should make research plausible.

Also we haven't bothered improving our medical science so that limits our possibilities. Given the complexity of the research, it could take several years just to make something decent and economical. Unless we find anything that could lead to a few shortcuts.

The Pau'an mods already do the former. The latter is a research option that's been an approved write-in already.
well why haven't we done that? seriously, that could be super good.
but then the super robot arm's become obsolete, huh? why need robot part's if you can just get a new arm.
cybernetics are one of the cool thing,s that star wars does a lot, robot hands are a staple to the show

Yeah you kind of have a point. Hey @Dr. Snark would advancing our general medical gear/producing advanced versions of it change this at all or add new options?

Hm...you might end up getting somewhat more advanced tech in that field if you pursue it but given that you're going into unknown territory said future research would end up taking a long time and be blindingly expensive; both of which would likely make them nonviable right now given the more immediate issues you guys have.

instead of super biology, we need super mechanics.
we must make the best cyborgs
.... can we make synthes?(fallout 4)(wait never mind. synthes are just clones that have tiny metal pieces in them)

So basically we're not getting it unless we go really heavily into that field or/and get really really lucky?

[X] Bring in support. You could use the opportunity to quietly spread the word about Order 66 and Palpatine to people you know will keep quiet about it, giving you useful allies in a worrying time.
-[X] Kal Skirata: Effectively one of the leaders of the Republic's commando divisions, you did promise him that you would tell him about the chips first thing. Contacting him would also likely get you some commandos or possibly even a Null ARC on your team.

[X] Operation Rod of Asclepius

And Later, when we finally take on Palpy, I want the next operation to be named the following:
[Q] Operation Troll-Palpy's-butt-to-the-curb

Hey @Dr. Snark if you want to (sorta) rebalance the omake glut we currently have you can just add the +20 to any rolls we may need to do in the Wesker mini arc.
...There's actually another option for spending our extra omakes. @Dr. Snark, we know there are at least two rolls each turn that take place 'behind the scenes':
[X] Lower Level Salvage Teams:
Reward: 25 Income (Salvage), per-turn salvage roll for other benefits
[X] CNS Integration Bureau:
Reward: Application system formalized, per-turn roll for sympathetic systems to join CNS
Would you be willing to let us apply an omake bonus to either one of these?

has any one beside's sidious done it before? if so, then we don't have a big enough testing size
let's test it with darth business. when we eventually do it. because i really want to fuck with the jedi.

If it works on Vectivus we could try it on Traya if its possible.

Also on a different note, where the fuck is Durge? I would think that he'd be trying to kill Jango since he's the new Mandalor. Or is Durge not apart of this since he's virtually immortal?

he would be the new leader of military, since grievous and asajj aren't in the running, welp i guess we cant be neutral any more, huh?

Durge hates mando's with a burning passion. He thinks they killed his friend and then they caught him and tourted him for years until he escaped, and now wants vengeance against all mandos. An the clone army is an army of mando clones... So hopefully focuses his attention on the Republic for the time being. And we could always tell him about the inhibator chips, it might make him help us fight Palpy when the time comes.

wasn't his friend a mando as well?
damn it space viking's! stop pissing off imortal assholes!
also he would not care about no chip any ways, this is his heaven now, a fucking army worth of mando's on one side and the other(not really, like only 1/4 of our army is a mando. i think)

I had a sudden thought for how we might deal with Murkana and the CIS Shadowfeed:
- Murkhana: trade hub, headquarters of Corporate Alliance (CIS Council), center of CIS Shadowfeed (HoloNet), site of Murkhana Landing (spaceport)
...
The main function of the Corporate Alliance was to establish and operate the CIS Shadowfeed, which serves as a universal HoloNet for all Separatist systems and their neighbors. Recruit Murkhana, seize the Shadowfeed, and you'll take over almost the entire communications network for the whole of the Outer Rim -- north, south, galactic east, Separatist, Hutt, all of it. I do not advise you in military matters, but I do not require OOM-9's tactical upgrade to understand that this is quite possibly the single biggest strategic priority we may have in the fight against Palpatine. If he does seize power, a separate HoloNet infrastructure would enable us to get our message out to friendly systems around the galaxy, to fight the inevitable propaganda machine run out of Coruscant. Owning the Shadowfeed would establish the Council of Neutral Systems as separate and truly distinct from the Republic, if or when that becomes necessary."
The problem with Murkana, is that it lies deep in the heart of CIS Space, and Corporate Alliance would have little reason to abandon the Separatist cause given that it has one of the few votes on the ruling Separatist Council, and is sufficiently far removed from the front lines that its operations are basically undamaged.

However, there is another option: hack the Shadowfeed to gain access (without letting anyone know), build our own control center on Taris, then take over the network.

Problem: this would take quite a bit of time & quite few actions.

Solution: remember Talesan Fry?
Taly inadvertently picked up a transmission between a group of bounty hunters, who planned to execute a mass assassination
...
the Jedi... learned that the bounty hunters were hired by Passel Argente of the Corporate Alliance, and that it was all of his political enemies that were the targets of the assassinations.
...
Taly was brought to the Senate to testify, and intentionally left out Argente's involvement in the situation, hoping that it would protect his parents, who were still hiding. However, [the bounty hunter] killed Nelia and Grove Fry [Taly's parents] anyway.
...
Over the next seventeen years, Talesan was able to blackmail Passel Argente and start a very successful technological company on the planet Genian.
Turns out the guy with the one-size-fits-all code-broker has a massive grudge against the Corporate Alliance, a.k.a. the organization responsible for killing his parents, a.k.a. the organization he's been blackmailing for the better part of two decades, a.k.a. the organization that controls the Shadowfeed.

If we want to recruit Taly -- as an ally, as an advisor, as a Hero unit -- then the easiest method would be to give him resources & political cover while he hacks the living daylights out of the Corporate Alliance. He gets revenge (and more blackmail material), we get the Shadowfeed (and control of the Outer Rim), win-win.

Plus, look at Fry Industries' specialty:
They developed and manufactured surveillance, communications, and security systems during the Clone Wars.
So if we plan on building our Shadowfeed control center, we'd probably end up contracting with Talesan Fry to do it.

...Can we please make him a Hero unit? (Pretty please?) All of this would be perfect for a series of Hero actions. Or we could keep him as a distant ally and let him do his thing, but it'd be so much more fun to bring him onboard and watch him work his magic.

why don't we just make a hole new network like the shadow feed?
we have a mad scientist, we can do it, even if just a small thing at first like, a planetary pocket or something

I meant telling him about how Palpy and Dooku's master are the same person. And how with order 66 he could get rid of the jedi and after the war become the leading authority of the galaxy, with an army of mandos at his command. But wait what whould happen to people that would not stop at trying to kill all mandos? Durge would be one of the last loose theards to be left, and Palpy can't have any of those running around can he?
