Kojiro is mentioned as a dragon slayer having taken down tons of wyverns in the moon goddess event. He was following Martha around because he wanted to face the Tarrasque. Mash calls the group of 3 dragon slayers. So yes it is canon that Kojiro is capable of killing wyverns and wants to fight an actual dragon.
Roman also believes the swallow he faced must have been a high rank phantasmal beast because Kojiro slaughters a demon easily in his interlude(that had the ability to resurrect itself) and he considered it weaker than the swallow. Kojiro was flat out disappointed when the demon turned out not to be immortal, just that it had a stock of resurrections.

Nah, as part of natural selection due to all those random Japanese martial artists thinking smacking swallows is a splendid training regimen the Japanese swallow has evolved to just be stupendously badass.
 
Okeanos is just lit going to be one huge gag of responsible adults covering Ritsuka's ears, isn't it? Especially around Teach and Orion.

While Cpt. Drake is spazzing out because she wants to make a crass comment, but self-preservation skills tells her she doesn't want to pay that blood price.


Also I just realized Okeanos is going to be one huge Archerfest. More so than canon.

Hopefully Ritsuka makes that connection and refers to her accordingly, because her reaction would be GOLD.

To go further, in the post-game, Kojirou very bluntly mentions his hidden anti-dragon aspect innate skill isn't a joke.

Just like how Nobu has her anti-Rider ability for all that she's an Archer, where ANYTHING with the Rider skill, even if not classed as one, takes extra damage from her. Sasaki Kojirou as an Assassin gets a further bonus against Dragons no matter what class they fall under, whether they're Riders or not.

IIRC, he even gets this bonus against Tiamat, considering she's the mother of EVERYTHING.
 
Didn't he get ascended into the Throne, beyond his existence as a wraith, due to his Dragonslaying ability and as the Gladiator from the East?

It may be memes, but memes are highest canon.

Remember how people's perception of someone can distort their legend and end up turning them into something they weren't in the first place?

Examples:
Vlad Tepes as a "vampire" (Dracula)
Elizabeth Bathory as a vampire/blood mage (Carmilla)
Hans Andersen as... a kid (he did get that awesome Koyasu voice tho)

Memes actually have power, in-game and in reality.

People thought "Kojiro was cool enough to kill dragons", so the person himself was retroactively given the Dragonslayer trait.


... well, even if it's not completely canon, it's still a nice thought. :p
 
Part of GO's humor does come from the goofy memes and ridiculous character interactions, especially since all of them are considered canon by the writers. Honestly, she probably is going to call up Kojiro, along with a couple other Stay Night Servants to round out her options through France. But I'm also planning on introducing more Servants as it fits the plot best. So Ritsuka will probably only summon someone like Andersen once she reaches London. It's kind of a balancing act to figure out when to include people and why.
 
Sasaki will probably end up as the ultimate cool 'big bro' to Ritsuka.
Cu is the loudmouth awesome one, but Sasaki is the 'brooding' cool one.

You know it occurs to me that Ritsuka is probably some ungodly bullshit when it comes to magus potential.

Aoi tohsaka had some weird hereditary thing that made it so that her kids would be better than their parents.

What if this passed to down to rin?

Rin was already absolute top tier when it came to magus potential.

And shirou probably could've become significantly above average if it weren't for his specialization and mindset.

and the amplified child of these two has the opportunity to be taught by the likes of Paracelsus.

Actually, I guess it makes sense that the Swallow was his mortal enemy to the point he created an entire move on it.

Fast enough that Sasaki had to break the laws of reality to hit it and strong enough for any question of it being laden to be irrelevant. Japanese swallows were mean motherfuckers but fortunately they were eventually banished to the Reverse Side where they presumably rule their area with an iron wing, fighting off dragons and demons.
 
It is apparent that, in Sasaki's day, swallows were no joke. They're probably why dragons fled to the Reverse Side of the World. Don't believe that shit about the Human Order, or Alaya, or any of that shit.

It was the swallows.

Also an odd, potentially useful and hopefully relevant thought here: Dangerous Beast + Saber Lion = Hungry Beast, the Spirit of British Imperialism = Berserker Saberface.
 
I just can't help but think that MHX and MHXA are Shirou and Saber kid whenever i look at them

make more sense then what the official canon say about them
 
The most terrifying thing is that it makes some sense.
Obviously the daughters of the female king arturo and our favorite Hero of justice would be star wars fans, with one of them ending up having an eighth grade syndrome and trying to kill his mother's alternate versions
