Little Ritsuka and her Loving Family (Fate/Grand Order)

Once the vulnerability is gone, no one can force them to do anything.

What about needing supplies? After a year of being off the grid, they were likely depleted of resources. Even with singularities, to ensure that everything ran smoothly, relations would need to be maintained and there are ways to counter Servants.

And that's not even getting into countermeasures that the UN may have installed without Chaldea's knowledge.

There's also the fact that they know why Lev was a traitor, and in what way: he wasn't evil for the lulz, he was a Goetia time bomb, and his sabotage was purely to further Goetia's plans. As far as they know with Goetia defeated the genetic time bombs are defused and none of the actions taken under his influence would be relevant to stuff going forward because, well, there's no reason for Goetia to have told them to do so because he didn't expect there to be a going forward.

Yeah... that's not how the UN deals with a superpower.

UN: "Do it our way!"

Chaldea "Lol no."

UN "If you don't we'll..."

Chaldea "No you won't."

UN "Okay but..."

Chaldea "Let us buy stuff and you get benefits, fuck with us and we'll just take stuff from you and make you look bad"

UN <knuckles under like a bitch>

There are ways to deal with a Servant. No force on Earth is set up to deal with hundreds of Servants except Alaya and Chaldea is likely her favored son.

You seem to be forgetting that an army of fight worthy Servants can likely only be maintained in Chaldea itself, the fact that Servant Fes required a Singularity supports this, meaning that since Chaldea is in Antarctica, all they have to do is corner the staff or Servants on the main land.

The only reason cannon fgo makes any sense is that they ignore servant's except mash and da vinchi as the story cannot tell who you have. e.g. clock tower just apply stheno, euryale and mata hari and they will love Chaldea same for any government.

You seem to forget that the Director is a woman. Racist they may be, but no indication has ever been made that Mages are usually sexist.

IIRC, most of the Servants flat out left once Goetia was dealt with.

I mean if you want to make chaldea unabashedly the villains of the story.
Because the UN had plenty of good points. Chaldea saved the world, yes, which is why they aren't being punished for all the times they used the technology in ways they weren't supposed to. Like hunting down Artemis because she stole their dango. Or basically most of the events. And some servant interludes. Like explain how helping Saint George take photos is a necessary goal to save the world. Chaldea went way beyond what they were authorized to do and they can't even really claim it was all to save the world.
And most servants left because the world was saved. They were summoned to save the world and that job was done so hey didn't have a reason to stick around.

... just don't forget to call him Papa out of EMIYA's earshot. :p
You had Fran (Berserk and Saber) to do that. And Lu Bu to watch them all. No, Lu Bu won't betray Fran, canonically he had soft spot for her.
It's not that they cut the power, it's that they cut off the supercomputer that kept all those Saint Graphs stable and managed.

After all, they couldn't really cut the power source (All the grails) and without taking out the servants first getting to the Master was impractical.
Lame. If Olga leaves a vulnerability like that in her systems now that Lev is a proven traitor who could have given that information out, Chaldea deserves to burn.
Actually, no, you can't, especially if this 'weakness' was pre-built into system, either by design or by necessity. The best you can do basically reinforce the weak point, and hope for the best.

Chaldea isn't unable to just force people to do what they want. But they are unwilling to just force people to do what they want. They're there to defend humanity. Becoming super villains with a secret arctic headquarters who bully everyone into submission would be extremely out of character for everyone involved.

If Ritsuka managed to social/cute-fu Moriarty into submission during the Epic of Remnant arc, then he could probably help out in trying to "game" the FATE System into making Pseudo-Servants.

He did manage to fuse his "legend" with that of a "phantom", The Freeshooter's myth. Same goes for Hessian Lobo and The Headless Horseman.

This time, it will be the opposite, trying to fuse a "phantom of another timeline" (Patxi and Gerda) with actual Legends (Simo Hayha and Idunn).

Or get Fran to call him that, either or.

EDIT: :ninja:

Which is fine, being required to be the world's bitch for no reason is just kinda meh, in my opinion. I've always found the idea of actual world saving heroes being forced to eat shit by people who should be on their side due to plot fiat to be asinine.

Not to mention that having all of your super important world saving stuff able to be easily disabled more or less by flipping a switch is such a stupid and cliched mistake that it's mentioned several times whenever that sort of thing is being parodied.

remember, Rayshift is very illegal

we were only suppose to use it like 7 to 8 time for the Singularity

[ insert over several dozen use of it base on interlude/event]

we could have done a number to history with the shit we did

just because we save the world doesn't mean we aren't in hot water for all the illegal stuff we did to save it

i get why we get shut down and the UN/MA send people to check shit out, but look at who they send

Goldolf is pretty nice and very much on our side, at worst, he would just give us a slap on the wrist and just have us re-activate but with some extra oversight

all the other shit i blame on Tamamo Vitchi stirring shit up

That's... very stupid. The only people who can do it are the people who were set up to do it by the people who make the laws. That's a special kind of stupid. That's like a government having a total monopoly on airplane technology, making airplanes illegal, then building fighter jets, training people to fly them and then arresting them when they land.
just because we save the world doesn't mean we aren't in hot water for all the illegal stuff we did to save it
See above. Chaldea worked exactly as it was supposed to. If they didn't want anyone Rayshifting, they shouldn't have built Chaldea in the first place and made it's sole purpose using Rayshifting to save the world.

I should remind you about the Scary Little Girls omake, which is also in this time period. Chaldea is not shut down and the Enforcers escorting the investigation team are fully aware that it's little more than political posturing because the MA doesn't want it to look like Chaldea can get away with doing anything they want without a response. At worst, they would get a slap on the wrist and everyone knows it. It's important people blowing hot air because their position demands it, just like all politics.

They were basically visiting the MA to wrap things up and let the head of the Clocktower give them a stern and utterly pointless 'shame on you' before congratulating them for saving mankind and asking them to keep them informed if something else comes up. Goldolf was just offering to help make things go smoothly so no one else at the MA tried to be a big shot and fuck with things for their own benefit as proof that he could be a helpful backer.

I like your way better. It actually gives everyone the benefit of having some damn sense.

To add more context to why Servant left part, even after the Servants left, should Chaldea need their help again, Chaldea can summon them again since the Fate System had recorded down their Saint Graph. Everything the servants had experienced up to the point when they cancel their contract are recorded down. Any problem their current set up of servant can't solve? Just summon the ones that had the skills set to solve the problem.

When they were resummoned again, it was just like when they left and with new information are upload into them to allow them to get up to speed.

I think that some servants would stick around. Ritsuka's family, certainly, the child servants, Atalante, probably Medusa's sisters, Jeanne Alter, Lancelot and Mordred. Probably Hassan i Sabah too.

While this is by no means as extensive as it could be, it still pretty much unbeatable outside of divide and conquer tactics.

During Solomon, when they say that "all Servants left and only some remained", they meant that only the ones you got from the gacha are still with you, same as always.

And LMAO, you guys assuming the Clock Tower isn't pretty bullshit on its own. Remember their 2000 year old Director that's even stronger that Vice Director Bartholomei? Or the bullshit strong THING they have in their basement? Or that Atlas is literally a deposit of world-ending weapons they're ready to unleash on other world-ending threats, like you guys are proposing for Chaldea to become?

After finishing Babylon and seeing how they portray the way Rin/Ishtar's fusion worked, how I portrayed it here really isn't accurate to how it happened in the game. Realistically, Rin probably managed to work out a different deal since she had more control over what was happening in this story, but it's noticeable on reflection.
