Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

Well being an action star on that time period is great.
But the real kicker is having Clint and Bruce as tutors.

Be a model of integrity that shape culture would be awesome.
Clint himself, besides his marital ptroubles is probably the best role model in Hollywood in terms of being a good person.

He isn't to political, his hobby's are helping animals and ending smoking among the youth he's extremely talented, physically fit, humble and nice… to a fault and a stern enough mentor to reign in our possible stubborn tendencies.

Bruce Lee is… well he's Bruce Lee. Who knows what might happen if he lives past 73.

Give it to an Asian action stat like Jackie Chan not unless we give it a good ole Irish twist!
also I know what I said about focusing on acting but I wouldn't mind making music

maybe something like this

or for a different taste

I don't think music is in our future.

I wanna do an assassins creed revelations movie but The game comes out in 41 years 😅
The GOOSE would be 56

Edit: I was searching how old ezio was in revelations HE'S 50

If we're still going for TV shows appearances, here are some where we should try to get some Cameos.

Hawaii Five-O should be starting it's third season this year, and it's a very famous show. The Caroll Burnett Show is another option, or even Bonanza, though the ast one is on its last legs. Then again, there's also Columbo

The Mary Tyler Moore show begins this year, getting a cameo (or miracle of miracles a role there) would do wonders for our career. McCloud also begins this year, though I've never watched the show it was still popular for its time.

If we manage to get really lucky though, The Odd Couple premiers this year, a classic by every standard.

And of course, who can forget Columbo. I certainly haven't.

Those are for the year we are in. For the decade (and this is my personal opinion) we shoul try for the following:

The Six Million Dollar Man, Kung Fu, M*A*S*H, Kojak, The Incredible Hulk, Charlie's Angels, All in the Family, Three's Company, Mork and Mindy, Dallas and Battlestar Galactica.

This is my dream list, I understand we may not be able to get in any of them, but I really hope we can at some point.

Let's cross our fingers.

TV in 1970? Steven Spielberg should be breaking into the industry right about now, working as an episode director for various series ("Columbo", for example).

gonna be honest the only thing I've watched out of any of those was M*A*S*H and I've only seen a few episodes of that

I can't think of a single show from the 70s that I watched and enjoyed that's not say I don't like older shows cause I love The Twilight Zone and Bewitched

I love old horror and action/martial arts movies but I can't think of any shows in particular that I'd want to be on in the 70s

Columbo is literally my favorite television show right now so if we manage to land a role as a killer in an episode I might actually be ecstatic about it. Although the first actual season of Columbia should air around 1971 so that probably leaves us with little to no time left. There's always season 2.

I may not know of Columbo but being a good villain can lead to places so I agree with being on it

Colombo is also a really good way to become a household name, being able to stand toe to toe with Peter Falk will defiantly get some attention on you.

Even if you are the heavy.
Well that's some luck. Jesus, Clint and Bruce helping us? That's….wow.
Problem is: Bruce still might have to dance with death and he's still on track to die that night in 1973.

So his help might not be much unless we can save him.

Clint also has his own problems.

indeed, just look at Alan Rickman and Gary Oldman.
Yeah it's almost we're destined for greatness or something.
not yet. Maybe if we get the Star wars gig perhaps.
Good introductory episodes would Murder by the Book or Suitable for Framing.
Favorite episodes right there

To be honest I'm not that into Star Wars, I mean don't get me wrong I love the movies, and though I'm not a hardcore fan I still think it's one of the best franchises that exist (MCU is still better, yes I said it!) but att his point, if we get one of the roles there, I feel that its going to haunt us no matter what we do later on.

Just look at Harrison Ford, after Star Wars he went on to have a great movie career, appearing in more films that are actually pretty good, yet when people look at him they only think of two roles: Han Solo and Indiana Jones.

I fear that will happen to us if we go that route.

I'm sorry but everyone seems to forget Decker from Blade Runner, Jack Ryan in two of the best adaptations of Tom Clancy's novels, then there is, without a doubt his best role in the Fugitive.

People only think the most common and famous of his roles because they were done by George and Steve and because the franchises they spawned.

And as a Star Wars Fan, I can just see the possibilities that we can use for... awesome stuff with that Star WArs money and clout, especially if we get an Oscar nod.

Well, that's my point and I agree with you. People seem to forget his other roles because of his previous performances in Star Wars and Indiana Jones. That's what I'm saying, that if we go his route then it might happen to us as well. We'll get roles sure, but we will be overshadowed for what we did before in that movie.

Is there a problem with that?

What if we peak with our first role and then we have to constantly try to get out of that shadow.

yea most people don't want to be a one trick pony me included especially if it's Star Wars

if it was constantly being type cast as the big bad but we also want be a hero once in while that could be cool

but i'd rather it not be star wars
