I'll accept the alternative medicine (although I am going to tweak it a little bit) and combat helmet write-in. The plant pheromone write-in is rejected as it falls under the umbrella of an option I was going to give next turn. Still you got 200 exp so not bad.

The prototype version of the combat helmet is more advanced than the general production version but only works if you are competently bald!

I'll add my 200 XP to Luthor's Diplo. (I think you only put 100 of it on the exp list)

Is there a limit to Luthor's stats I think 30 is the normal human cut-off point in CKII right?

Does Luthor transcend human potential by existing.

Edit: So you did, thank you.

It actually turns out I made an error even earlier down the line and missed 100 exp points you had earned. you actually have 300 exp to spend. A big problem with formatting the informational post is that it constantly needs updating swiftly and I struggle to keep up and keep information accurate. If it continues to be a problem then I might implement a system where the exp is only added to the informational post as I am updating the thread.

You are capped at 70 I believe (the first post explicitly states what the cap is in the rules section). Lex Luthor can surpass the human potential because this is a comic book setting and you are going up against beings who transcend the human condition right at the very start.

Thanks. In that case, all 300 to Diplo.

i have some concepts that could be useful!

As we know, taking super-villains alive is hard, especially when they cause riots, power struggles, or taking people alive for informaiton...

thats why i think developing the Arc thrower/pistol/Rifle could be DAMN useful for humanity, (the idea is from X-com, both the mod of long war AND enemy Unknown/Within)

The idea comes from that ark throwers linage could be helpful in subduing riots and people when particular incidents happen with a perfectly fine non-lethal setting. Thus allowing police to have a tool for near perfect take-downs when criminals get violent.

however as the Mark 1, the thrower would have limited charge and thus need a battery change, (around 4-5 people take-down charge at 33% health for meta-humans depending on their stats).

The Ark Pistol being the Mk 2 of the series would be even easier to use then the ark thrower, allowing for more range rather then the taser range that police have to employ, not to mention being able to utilize as well. (around 66& of meta-human fighting capability, and possibly 33% of super-being capability...normal humans and average joes? no chance to suceed in resisting it!)

the Rifle would be a Mk 3 version, able to take down meta-humans and have a reasonable chance of knocking out super beings...not to mention improvements overall.

[] Ark Thrower technology
(with possible upgrades to pistol, rifle, and grenade/explosive later on, the grenade type is to take down very hostile people, and thus allow special forces and our own guys to clean out rooms without wasting life and ammunition.)

I would like to add my 200 XP to Learning.

Yes, I know: not optimal. But, I just don't think Lex would be satisfied with being second best in Learning to anyone, let alone an insane jackass.

It's fine if it's not optimal. You earned it so you can spend it however you'd like to. I've updated the information

Arc throwers were made to stun aliens, regular tasers can do the job just fine. And irl have a tazer shotgun slug which double the range of a normal taser.
Another Write in?
[ ] Shotgun Taser Slug (Sell to Police)

How does this tech work? Do you have a simple explanation or should I start trying to research X-Com Ark tech?
Ark Tech, according to XCOM, floods the alien with electricity (to compensate for it being aliens, a higher voltage is used) to disrupt and stun it's nervous system so it is knocked unconscious so it can be interrogated.

I'll tweak it and instead include an option like [ ] Improve weapons in the next vote (it feels a little embarrassing that I didn't already think of this option when LexCorp's main product has been weapons). You still get 100 exp though.

There should be enough XP to spend to get Lex another point in Diplomacy. If Lois Lane is going to be such a problem, then we should at least equal her 28 Diplo score. Course, scoring Learning 30 would be nice, so Anthony "Future Villain" Ives isn't smarter than us.

Lex's diplomacy was raised by one thanks to you and Warmach1ne32 (it went from 24 to 25). I'm simply not including notes of it being raised on the post itself as that would get super cluttered super fast and would likely lead to mistakes on my part so I'm streamlining it for readability.

I can already tell that working with Ives is gonna be a humungous pain in the ass to work with, at least Pamela seems like a perfect fit. How long do you think until Ives gains some crazy ass supervillain scheme where he has to prove to Luthor whos superior?

A few more ideas that came to my mind:

[] Build a secure and secret holding facility in the tower. Lined with lead. You need to be able to feed, clean, and contain prisoners in isolation while minimizing chances of a breakout. And you must admit - you wish you had built this when you were doing your fortifications, but it would have been a lot harder to hide without first upping security.

[] Run security drills of potential breaches inside your facility. You want to make sure you can identify any potential weakspots.

[] Review camera footage, security logs, interview security personnel, everything related to how the assassins snuck into your building to avoid it happening again. (Time sensitive, perhaps?)

[] Design a suit that looks like a business suit but doubles as kevlar/made from bullet proof material (like Kingpins')

[] Design magnetically driven, powered inline skates. Design the wheels and mechanism to give the user enhanced control so they could navigate stairs/obstacles with ease. (From Jet Set Radio)

We could sell them as a toy / time saving tool that offers superior speed and control compared to a segway. Eventually, If we advance the designs enough, develop some advanced safety equipment (heads up display helmet?), and made them as fast as cars, people could adopt them instead. Save the environment! (And instead of paying car companies, pay LexCorp!)

[] Build an advanced version of the skates that can switch from the powered skates into what looks like a regular men's formal shoe for your personal wear. You never know when you need to make a quick getaway (or a quick attack)

Hover-tech or propulsion for enhanced movement in personal combat suit is a long way away - we need the tech and the power source to be advanced enough to work in a personal suit - so this is a decent and cheap alternative. Plus we could justify it in a "I'm a busy CEO I need to save time" kind of way, similar to how segways were being adopted.

Ives feels like a man with a lot of focus, he'll work on Amazo in the underground lab until he is done and only stops to eat, drink, and use the toilet. I doubt he'll even exit the lab if we just deliver food to his lab.

we just can also ask him to do projects easily as long as they relate to robotics and thus somehow advancing his Amazo research as well.

Ivo has a very low intrigue and we have quite a high one, we could think of ways to monitor his mental status and if he is hiding anything from us to determine when would be the most beneficial time to oust him.

With that said we should investigate his past, potential family and friends, his routine, etc, so we could fake an accidental death to cover up either us actually killing him or locking him in a secure and secret facility somehow.

Faking a natural death for Ivo wouldn't even be hard for Luthor, Ivo's known to have a fatal disease.

With Ivo we don't need any clever science-y ideas, just tell our security to to cuff him when he is out of the lab.

I am officially including a moratorium on when I update character information or the write-in sheets to occurring only after I have posted a new threadmark. There is a ton of stuff to do and I can't quite keep up with it. It has started to eat into the time I spend writing other stuff so I need to get it under control. You can still write write-ins whenever you want and I'll probably confirm a few ahead of time but they informational sheets will only be updated after threadmarks are posted. Sorry I just feel the need to get this a bit under control right now.

Tower cell write-in rejected. Review footage and run drills combined into one option. Suit and skates accepted but will not be available next turn (there are prerequisites to be hit first like the space elevator). 300 exp gained.
