Huh, doing my obligatory reread to see if I missed something. Ling Qi combos really nicely with Bai Meizhen apparently, she was actually using the mist to power some of her Arts.

Anyway, for options I really think we should start the focus on merging the groups now. The Vent is a truly incredible resource given it both saves on stones for gold and red cultivation, but importantly does the same for yellow which more expensive, and acts as an effective +20 successes to Argent Soul every month. That last one is important given I believe it was mentioned the class won't get access to the next Argent technique until 5-8 months have passed, this the amount of successes regularly cultivating here saves is pretty phenomenal thus saving on AP.
We are also friends with Gu Xuilan now so we'll be able to manage the transition better, thus as I previously mentioned both groups don't actually need to cultivate at the Vent at the same time.
I suspect, that breaking while argent soul is maxed may give some additional benefits. But I agree, that is only suspicion based on narrative themes and not on revealed mechanics.
Edit: nevermind. Yrsillar answered my doubts 2 minutes ago. We will get home even if we won't chose the action to get one.

We have plenty of money and honestly do not have the time right now to get revenge. remember how we told those twins to cultivate instead of focusing on revenge? we should take our own advice. we need to breakthrough to silver, and then yellow, and cultivate a bunch of things. in a month when we eat all our money in pills we should go look for enemies to rob for revenge.
Revenge is a dish best served profitable and when it doesn't impede your growth

Given you didn't point him out by name, probably because as your post here demonstrates you forgot it too, I vaguely recalled a guy named Zhang, looked him up and decided he was literally a throwaway character that Gu mentioned all of once. Like, Ark, I don't know if you realize how confusing it is when you just vaguely allude to something that happened ten updates ago with basically no guidelines expecting expert recall.
Like my memory is pretty good for this quest, but it mostly relies on having written some omakes and done the usual research so it ain't that encyclopedic. I'm pretty sure half of us still refer to Su Ling and Li Suyin by their role rather than their name because they're too easy to confuse. You yourself wrote Li Qing in a previous post today and I still am only 80% sure that you meant Ling Qi by that instead of the ice girl Lei something.

IIRC she said so, the elder told us to get argent soul to rank 4 before we reach late red.
No? Elder Su told us as much and the qm also clarified that we would not get any more benefits from levelling AS until we hit yellow soul.

Yeah, I was expecting Wood from Bai, because snakes are associated with wood, but her techniques look to be water based.
It's not surprising considering she's expressed an interest in our arts before, and our mist empowers our own ones due to it forcing low light status.

FVM is just a "make it dark" art. should benefit pretty much most dark aligned art out there

Do we have anything more urgent on our plate that needs to be taken care of before we breakthrough? I mean, the single breakthrough plans are nice, but their odds of success are less than 1/2, and I like the roughly 3/4 chance of a successful breakthrough that this plan provides far more. If there was anything we really needed to get done now I'd prioritize that, but other than seeming how Su Ling and Li Suyin are doing I can't think of anything that won't safely wait a week (and that pair is covered by cultivating at the vent).

When I say revenge is best served cold I mean that it's the sort of act that you wait for. That you revel in the suspense and tension. That you bide your time as the anticipation builds while your enemies wait in a cold sweat constantly looking over their shoulders knowing that reciprocity dictates they will suffer but never knowing when or how. Pretty much I'm advocating we wait and not go after them yet.

The nice glowy lady must never find out that we hadn't heard of her or her family before a few weeks ago.
I've been toying with the idea that they might function as an Archive+1. So, normally they allow you to pick an art from the first floor, but if you somehow have a complete first floor pass, you get to pick an art from the second floor. That's probably an overly specific use for it to be likely though.
