The barrier of rapid time acceleration that protected the skeleton made me have a thought. Could we maybe get someone with the ability to launch streams of material, like water or stone, shoot into the barrier? If the launched enough, the accumulated debris could push the skeleton or staff outside the ring of time. Then we could just grab the loot before it fell into the lake.

I don't think so.

The material would probably decay long before it reached the skeleton, and then it would have to have enough strength to push the skeleton out of the throne breaking the tangle of branches that have entangled him, and then we would have to find a way to reach the other side of the lake.

From the description of the lake, we couldn't see the edges of it. So I don't think it would be productive.
 
So, the problem here is that basically all the minors are really good. I want all of these.

Zhengui, Meizhen, Zeqing, and Mother I would say are the most important... I guess the question here is: assuming we're aiming to go on SLP benders next weeks, and will only have 2 minors then, what are the things we most don't mind falling by the wayside for a while?

Gah. While Gan's minor is really fun, it's also the easiest to drop.

Fails in step 2, where the Darkness eats through the container before it can be sealed.
The Elders then scold us when it keeps dissolving it's way through the ground with no signs of stopping.

Reason for the changes:
Lets not forget the overflow and other weekly gains!
FSS is about to level up, so I think that's the Art we really want the best tutor for it right now.
I think mastering TRF is more important than an other meridian right now.
Zhengui really needs a reward if we want to keep him focused on training and, hopefully, Green Rank by the Tournament. Sixiang can wait a week.

imo the first thing to do is try materials that are generally not affected too badly by time. Like metal.
Stone/Earth is probably immune to it, or else the lake would have eaten through it all, and the lake would be a huge pit instead.:cool:
So... make a chain+hook out of Stone and use it grip and pull the stuff out of the island and lake ?

Hell if we can take the black goop away in a good enough container we should just get a ton of vials ready for the tournament to throw at our opponents.

Instant qi draining goop grenade talismans. They'll never see it coming.

Stone/Earth is probably immune to it, or else the lake would have eaten through it all, and the lake would be a huge pit instead.:cool:

I'm pretty sure rotten skelly dude is still "alive" and kicking and that we'd be dust in the wind if we push it out of the time field and it wakes up.

Specially if we nick the staff/spear. It's a funny thought experiment though.

Training a non yin art (TRF) while using SLP kinda wastes the SLP.

Even training Meridian would be better.
 
@yrsillar could we combine the Meizhen Minor with the Treasure research?

Generally speaking Ling Qi has had a habit of asking Meizhen to ID stuff she finds, and it'd be a good icebreaker for a no doubt awkward conversation

we're training all the Yin Arts we currently have, so it's either TRF (or other Yang Art. PLR ?), a meridian (which we will do next week in the White Room), a Sect Job (meh), pure Spiritual (achieving Green Apprisal seem dubious) or a archive action (but we are already overloaded with different Arts).

Or archive to study the Umbral Shard, which is a far better use of our time.

A meridian would be better since it triggers the qi roll and it means that if Ling Qi finishes opening all of them she can just forgo using the White room and dedicate the timeslot to something else.

(Also, open enough meridians to equip PLR)

EDIT: FSS also leveled up this week, so what you posted is out of date.

EDIT EDIT: If the plan doesn't go all in in using the pill there is little reason to use it now instead of two weeks later.

it's not like we are a crafter, i doubt there's much we could get out of looking at it. I mean, sure if we had team SuSu to work with us on it it'd be something, but i'm weary of making a whole new Write-In action.
 
So, I have convinced myself that doing an SLP week this week may not be the best choice. We will need to do the archive search and so the actions between this upcoming week and the next week are fairly interchangeable in my mind.

However, the acquisition of talismans is time sensitive in that we have less time to get the talismans ordered then we have to cultivate for the tournament. It takes weeks to finish the product, and I would not be surprised if it took 4 weeks to work with the materials we have here. This is especially true if we want to confront Yan Renshu with new equipment.

So rather than gunning for SLP week this week, rather attempting to do the search for information and ordering talismans this upcoming week would be the better choice. So, here would be my suggestions for a plan.

Majors
[] Train Music arts with Zeqing

-[] Zeqing wanted to speak with you about something aside from your lessons, indulge her?
[] Take a job
-[] Party Crashing?
[] Visit the Archive
-[] Look into the items you found during your quest

I markedly didn't include the mother option, for as much as I would like to I feel that giving her a week of space to clear her head, get accustomed to the new environment, and come to terms with her new status would do her good before we try to do less awkward stuff with her. Give her time to unwind if you will.

I would like to combine the Zeqing and the Hanyi actions as I feel that this is a good time to do that.

I would like to get the Suyin minor out of the way and see what comes out of it.

Meizhen action to spend time with her, which we haven't been doing recently.

And finally, Zhengui has done a good job, and I think hunting is a good reward for him. Allows him some life experience that he will need to leverage his strength.
