So, I consider the following minors critical to a plan I'd vote for:
- Cai Renxiang meeting (obviously)
- Bai Meizhen learning about each other
- Meet Zeqing at home

The following are minors I'd like the rest to be among:
- Zhengui hunting
- Puzzle box
- Han Jian

The majors I'd like to do (At least two non-breakthrough actions are needed to attach minors to):
- Abyssal Exhalation
- Argent Current
- Argent Storm
- Archives (learn about breakthrough/cultivation/etc)

I think I want to save the breakthrough drugs for next week - unless there's three breakthrough rolls, in which case I'm fine with Ling Qi using them.

By the way, @Ayashi - Formations is already unlocked.
 
Meizhen talk seriously is a must, as is Zeqing, given that both of those are a bit unusual.

I'd strongly favor giving Meizhen the valley as well or the Cai social. The former as Meizhen just spent a small fortune on us, and it might temper whatever results from the talk, and the latter as it's quite good to get more of a sense of Cai here.

The Zhengui action could probably be attached to the golden-fields hunting action, or taking a mission. The puzzle box can maaaaaybe be attached to a cultivation action? I dunno.

Good point. Hmmm... Han Jian is easy enough to attach to a major, and there's only three "must-do" minors on my list... but the others on the second list are tricky to attach. I suppose Zhengui and hunting could be attached to training/cultivating? Su Ling and the Ma sisters could be attached.

Actually, Meizhen discussion could be occurring while cultivating in the Black Pool or the like?

There will always be minors that seem urgent. We can put out those fires when we're in the third realm; otherwise we're wasting half our majors.
 
For anyone curious, here is the state of our current arts:
  • Argent Soul - Maxed.
  • Eight Phase Ceremony - Capped; requires Green.
  • Fleeting Zephyr - Maxed.
  • Sable Crescent Step - Capped; requires Bronze/Green.
  • Forgotten Value Melody - Capped; requires Green.
  • Falling Stars Art - Maxed.
  • Argent Mirror - Capped; requires Green.
  • Thousand Ring Fortress - Capped; requires Green.
  • Abyssal Exhalation - 37/100 to next level.
  • Argent Current - 27/120 to next level.
  • Argent Storm - Soft Capped; requires Minor Action.
So, of our arts, the only things we could push this week are AE and AC. AE is maybe doable pre-breakthrough, but would require a decent amount of work.

Though really Ling Qi should make some Breakthrough Attempts. Some of those combined with at least an AE action would let Ling Qi get AE the week of breakthrough, I think.

I think we should do the Zequing minor this week, whatever else we do.
I don't think it's a coincidence that this showed up just when we'd be preparing for breakthrough, especially when shes supposedly so busy.
I think this is relevant to our attempt.

I thought Zeqing minors just show up every other week
 
Both Zeqing and Meizhen would be understanding if we did closed doors cultivation this week I think.

I'd be fine with a plan that does visit them instead of going for the full 6 Breakthrough actions too.

Not quite sure what the tie-in for your proposal would be, though. If we want to talk about the Dragon, we've got a dedicated minor for that.

Preliminary scheme here. I'm figuring out what to do with the fifth major, based on what kind of minors we can crowbar in. Part of why I was interested in finding out if our safecracking tools will be ready. An alternative would be doing a Sect Mission that we can crowbar into the Zeqing mission.

Those seem to have a nice synergy in my opinion as well are the ones I am most interested in from a narrative perspective though I admit that I am unsure if we know enough about the dragon yet or if we really shoudl share it Meihzen.

Seems like it's been to mostly nobles, though.

I mean, a lot of the nobles that we know are kinda smug assholes who happen to be our friends. I think Han Jian and Suyin were the only ones who were actually polite to Ling when they first met her.

About linking minors, imo we can link either/both of Meizhen minors to a breakthough roll since we should be doing it in our home and not in closed door cultivation. Same think for the Puzzle Box, it doesn't require Ling Qi to go anywhere.
Han Jian and Zenghui can both be attached to Golden Fields Major.
Of the relevant minor actions, only Zeqing can't be attached to anything.

Separate question, do we know Cai Renxiang well enough that we might spar with her, so we could attach her social action to one of our cultivation actions?

Breakthrough attempts can't be linked to minors regardless of whether it's closed door or not. They're essentially meditating alone.

I'd prefer a six breakthrough attempt week, but since that isn't happening I'll vote for any plan that devotes 4 majors to breakthrough/recovery.

I need to point out that Ling Qi just gave what could be a mortal farmer a "few stones", you know those things worth a hundred silver each.

Actually, Abyssal Exhalation could well get +25 from this turn, assuming a minor is spent on favor or something else suitable. That puts it at 62, which is possibly a cultivation action away.

So... four general paths:

* Ignore all else, breakthrough at max. Only gets three social actions, extremely likely to break through ASAP.
* Take 3 breakthrough actions (possibly with pills), take two actions to attach minors to. Only moderate chance to break through, get five social actions. Has one last chance to edge things over (archery, athletics, manipulation, etc).
* Take 1 breakthrough action (no pills), get four actions. No chance of breaking through, reasonable chance of making a one-week breakthrough (or even a double) more possible. Can really only manage two (possibly three) cultivation actions unless you want Ling Qi to finally take a qi cultivation action. Will be able to do things like dragon, research in the archive and such.
* Take no breakthrough actions. Same as above, really, except gaining a bit more to do and losing a shot at making breakthrough easier later.

Hmmm... it's possible. And it's the kind of Ling Qi gesture (foolish, endearing yet ambitious) that Meizhen is pretty accustomed to. It could come across as "I don't think I can do this alone, could you help me again please?" though.
