I don't disagree with that, but I really hate the idea of sticking 'ships that are not good at fighting' out in a place known to be, well, full of orks without any escort. It seems like asking for an unfortunate 'the freebooter just had a shitty scrapship or three, but none of your ships had anti-naval weapons so they won anyway' moment.
Honestly, I kinda want to build another Patrol Squadron next turn before we go for another naval squadron or further reinforce any of our current ones, just because we're starting to have issues with this kind of ship coverage thing more and more. Wouldn't hurt to get a second support squadron out given the warning about troop ships either.
