Many get lost in the eddies of the Astral Sea and fade, they are the lucky ones.

Are they?

"I will tell you what I told all mortals asking me these question. Keep to your gods. No matter if they are virtuous or wicked, kind or cruel, their realms are the only true havens left for souls now. For in the Outer Spheres, you will find neither mercy or salvation."

Are the planes of hell really so much worse than that of a wicked god?

I suppose even if that is so while they may be "lucky" I guess they're useless if even the Hells are fighting this.

I must apologize to you and @Goldfish. My idea was very, very stupid. Turns out that the Merlin King doesn't have the Water domain.

It has the Ocean domain, the Death domain, and the Passion domain.
What the... Why the hell does he not have the Water domain? :???:

@TalonofAnathrax, wasn't there that one PrC you really liked that gives you a bonus domain? I think it may have been Contemplative but I'm not sure.

Whatever it is, Vaela needs that Water domain in preparation for the Plane of Fire. Hopefully if she has that she can rebuke with little issue.

Mind you, hell is markedly better experience for those who already served the Archdukes in life. The devoted cultist gets a better lot then some random LG schmuck that got washed in there by the astral tides.

About the Dreadnaught, we're waiting on Vee to harvest the eye then sacrifice it? How about sacrificing it to MK in full and ask for a tame Kraken for the Greyjoys?

[] Essence of Life
-[] There will be a great need for weapons and equipment of supernatural potency in the coming years, perhaps the abundance of corpses can be put to use in the fungus forge? (Progress ??, Cost ??? IM, requires Vee, Requires Livewood sample, and Bronzewood sample,)

Once completed this action would allow us too...

1. Store, create, and use "recipes" for biotechnology (grafts, Symbionts , and certain creature's)
2. Use biomass to create symbionts similar to standard magical or mundane items.
3. Reduce difficulty of future fleshcrafting research projects

Create creatures are plant type, true neutral, usually not sentient

So whats everybody think? Gold cost? Time cost? Material or companion cost?
I was thinking something more like.

[] Living Items. Feeder is a dragon that's also a dagger, and you once mused that a thinking blade might learn magic, study Feeder to see if you can't grow living weapons in the Fungus Forge, and see if you can give said weapons the ability to cast spells.

So what I was able to get from the last few updates is that as always, Asmodeus is at fault for everything? He invited the Void inside reality as a superweapon and made a deal with Daemons to break all opposition?

Or it happened without him and he just made maximum profit from it.

According to Mereth Hell wasn't really prepared for that war, so it looks more like Asmodeus just took the opportunity when it showed itself.

It is indeed possible, but it will involve losing a caster level to dip Wavekeeper (and she'll have to take the Wild Cohort feat to grab a slightly weaker Animal Companion, but that's a decent feat anyway). Wavekeeper doesn't advance the Water domain's turning power, so her build should be Cleric 5 / Wavekeper 1 / Cleric + X
And then she could be taking feats like Improved Turning (or even a version of Quicken Turning that works on fire creatures instead of undead). Note that Extra Turning applies to all turning pools at once, which is nice. And there are a great many magic items that improve your turning - she could grab a few of those !

Note that the Water domain allows her to Turn fire creatures, but also Rebuke water creatures. Minionmancy !

Note that the Wild Cohort is weird. It seems to consider "animal cohort" different from "animal companion", but then it uses the word interchangeably in the mechanics. I'm hoping that DP will rule in our favor

Any suggestions for her Animal friend? It needs to have a Swim speed, but it also needs to be able to survive on the plane of Fire. A Large snake (I like Vipers, because Venomfire) could do the job, as could a Polar Bear if she qualified for it. Then all she'd need to do is get them some fire resistance, and voilà ! Perhaps she could even pay to have a fireproof one crafted in the Fungus Forge?
If she's spending a feat on an animal companion, she may as well go all-in : take Natural Bond and Companion Spellbond and make it a half-decent bruiser.

I would like a baby-version of the Dragonturtle that travels with the Tritons.
Is there such a thing or would it have to be build?

Food for starting research, and then come up with own ideas: Fleshwarping handbook from GitP (includes symbiote list among others).
I know you have your stance on this, but I am very much not in favor of destroying the multiverse. That is my Bad End.
That was a reading comprehension fail on your part - tarrangar said it's a BAD idea because it breaks the multiverse.
Unbelievable, it's still being considered even after we have GM confirmation on how unwilling Bahamut is to work with us. I for one do not want to waste time on getting burned.
Well, having a talk about goals to achieve, but disagreeing about means, could still mean we tolerate each other and don't fight. That would be worth something?

In other news, in light of pretty much everyone in Essos and most of Westeros getting a view of what Viserys and his ever-advancing machinations are like with our propaganda machine in full swing:

Oh no, it's avatar changing season! :o

You need resources for the brass coins, after all ...

Grey Ghost needs to be a Stalking Wyrm, obviously. No idea how to give him the requisite skill points, except... How about Nymph's Kiss?
No, I'm not joking. Hear me out! He's the strange, sneaky Dragon. Clearly he met a Water fey, and grew entranced with it. From it he learned fishing, to enjoy the water despite being fire made flesh, stealth, and caution even from small things like Fey or Humans. No need for this to be an archfey either : a mere Pixie would do.

We will probably never discover this IC, but that's fine.

  • [X] Ask what Tyangyl knows of the Sundering itself, if he has any clues as to how the Void shattered the planes.
-[X] Ask Tyangyl of the divine realms of all the main deities in the Imperium and their approximate locations in the Astral Sea (R'hllor, Weeping Lady, Moonsinger Goddess, Yss, Merling King, the Seven, etc.)
-[X] Ask Tyangyl of the locations of the various horrors he's encountered in his duties (that we might either avoid them or put an end to them when we have time).
-[X] If possible, ask Tyangyl to send lost celestials who for whatever reason can't stay in the outer planes our way to attempt to band together. We're trying to create a safe haven for them in Prime Material, starting with Mantarys.
-[X] As thanks for his help, offer him a Stalwart Pact and Renewal Pact to aid in his duty.
-[X] Call on one of Yrael's Archons to introduce you to the inhabitants of the City by Heaven's Shore, then leave with your friends to attempt to establish ties. The intent is to make a few contacts and possibly some trade deals, not to make any waves or draw too much attention.
-[X] When you get there, before you reach the city, show Bloodraven and the Old Gods through the raven swarm what has become of Heaven.
[X] After this, fetch a barrel of Dawn Mead and go play fetch with Balerion for the rest of the day.

SKILLS: (6-4)*22=44 Skillpoints

Extraordinary Abilities:
Rage (Ex)

A barbarian can fly into a rage a certain number of times per day. In a rage, a barbarian temporarily gains a +4 bonus to Strength, a +4 bonus to Constitution, and a +2 morale bonus on Will saves, but he takes a -2 penalty to Armor Class. The increase in Constitution increases the barbarian's hit points by 2 points per level, but these hit points go away at the end of the rage when his Constitution score drops back to normal. (These extra hit points are not lost first the way temporary hit points are.) While raging, a barbarian cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except for Balance, Escape Artist, Intimidate, and Ride), the Concentration skill, or any abilities that require patience or concentration, nor can he cast spells or activate magic items that require a command word, a spell trigger (such as a wand), or spell completion (such as a scroll) to function. He can use any feat he has except Combat Expertise, item creation feats, and metamagic feats. A fit of rage lasts for a number of rounds equal to 3 + the character's (newly improved) Constitution modifier. A barbarian may prematurely end his rage. At the end of the rage, the barbarian loses the rage modifiers and restrictions and becomes fatigued (-2 penalty to Strength, -2 penalty to Dexterity, can't charge or run) for the duration of the current encounter (unless he is a 17th-level barbarian, at which point this limitation no longer applies).

First draft.
The choice of Feats and Archetype is supposed to represent a dragon who rips out his opponents throat after being gutted already.
Not very safe to ride for low-level chars though. Better bring some Featherfall.

Edit: Not sure what skills to give to an animal?

Spot, Listen, and Survival would make the most sense for an animal.

Unless Valyrian Dragons can swim. Can they swim?
