Looking through the spells more closely, @Deliste, a lot of them are available to Clerics or they are Druid spells of a low enough level our Druid Leshy/Treants can access them now. I've made those red.

@DragonParadox Of the spells with red text that I've quoted, are any of them rare enough that our Clerics/Druids can't access them without first learning them from a scroll?

All Pathfinder spells are too rare to get by default and are only obtained in the cleric has some sort of thematic link to the spell.

  • [X] Plan "We are never taking this crown off again!" or "Why everyone who regularly uses Divination to check in on Viserys suddenly became very worried."
-[X] The ritual to free the Erinyes of their connection to Hell is no small undertaking, and the danger to the Furies is considerable. We will to return to this issue at a later date (before the end of the month), but in the meantime, ask Dany to attempt to further refine the ritual if at all possible, using the full weight of the resources available to her (allied casters, Philospher's Tree, library, assistants, etc).
    -[X] In Armun Kelisk, first;
    --[X] Recover your crown
---[X] Speak to the enchanter about further commissions and ask if he has any completed items we might be interested in purchasing while.
--[X] Then find the sell-spells you hired
---[X] Explain to them that they will be among the first of their kind in untold centuries to venture to the fabled Plane of Balance, where all four elements exist in harmony.
--[X] And then visit the markets to trade, selling 100,000 IM in rare trade goods we brought with us (for a profit of at least 200,000 IM, if possible), while purchasing 100,000 IM worth of crafting and ritual reagents.
---[X] Check with the book and scroll vendor to see if a copies of Scribe's Binding, Cyclic Reincarnation, Greater Planar Binding, or Planar Binding have become available since our last visit.
---[X] Send Vee and Waymar off to check into the availability of skilled animal handlers capable of training winged mounts such as Hippogriffs. While they are gone, ask them to look into acquiring the services of anymore Air-Infused Griffons, and how many Hippogriffs might be available for purchase, and at what price.

@DragonParadox Where are the major landmarks of Sorcerers Deep beyond the arena, baths, city hall, bazaar, gods wood, Silver Serpent Enterprises offices and Temple of Yss that are all on Azel's plan? because its missing stuff like the inquisition office, a Legion HQ (unless that's outside the city with the Minotaur Camp), the plinth for the Shadow Tower/Scholarium, where the different heart trees are in the city. Libraries, Merling King temple (that's also apparently in a different location from the plan.) Moonsinger Temple, the sea caves (I thought they were under the keep but apparently the keep is further back inland up a hill from the city) etc etc.

@Azel Are all those military buildings at the end of the pier basically like the Venetian arsenal or something?

Gonna have a test now, but on the cloak:
- Yeah. Let there be Awaken sR.
- Storage equivalent to a Genesis spell is silly.
- As is flat out immunity to all ranged attacks.

Oathkeeper
So, uuuh.
Once in a year, or somewhat near that, I get sudden and inexplicable urge to draw.

This time, it thankfully also landed on one of (very) few thinga I can draw - weapons.

And I got a bit inspired with my idea "How Oathkeeper will probably look after next upgrade, when it will become conceptual fiend-eating Frostmourne-cosplayer".

‐------------------------------------------------------
This is what your sword looks like on 100% Outsider Juice
Paint Tools Sai, Mouse, 10 hours.

Frostmourne inspiration is obvious. I had to cut off quite a few details from the sketch to make them look at least somewhat different :/

I'm not sure.

DUDE THAT'S BITCHING!

+1 Much love.

Well. This certainly looks like something you teach an Archduke a lesson with.

It is still kind of surreal.

Richard "Killed an Archfiend's Avatar of Doom with a Single Blow" Lonmouth.

Previously, we had discussions like, "I wonder how the Kingsguard would stack up to Ser Richard".

Now we have discussions like "I wonder how quickly Richard stacks up the Kingsguard like firewood".

Very cool, dude.

Richard "Killed an Archfiend's Avatar of Doom with a Single Blow" Lonmouth.
It was a team effort with Kame-hame-Waymar.

None the less, I sometimes wonder what reputation Richard has outside of our closest circle. He is running around in black full-plate with red trim and a sword that looks like something Asmodeus would approve of.

Frankly, I expect Barristan and Jaimy to be a challenge or even a genuine threat.

The other chumps though? Ablative armor.

Part MMCCLXII: Hollow Winds
Hollow Winds

Fourth Day of the Fifth Month 293 AC

To your not inconsiderable surprise the return to Armun Kelisk, intentionally directed to the largest market of the Terrestrial Ward and not the hidden entrance you had used before, brings you precisely to the spot you had held in mind. Thus the four of you find yourselves between a lamp merchant advertising his wares with a gaudy fount of green and gold arcane sparks and a quill and parchment stand whose finest wares take to the air like a flock of tamed birds, the better to get into the faces of any inattentive passersby by.

"Did ye really have t' land us here," Vee complains as she swats away an animated purple quill half as long as a man's arm.

"I was expecting us to end up in whatever place is set with taxing foreign merchants," you explain.

A breathy giggle interrupts you. "How considerate..." a Living wind giggles as it tugs slightly at the one of the chests you had borne into the city. "What do you have here?" After a moment's bemused pause the being introduces itself as one of the taxmen you had been expecting, a fact verified by a two-foot-long script inked in royal blue.

Thus you learn of one of the eldest and, to your ears, strangest laws of Armun Kelisk. Visitors are never taxed the first time they arrive in the city that they may fall in love with its vistas without 'being weighed down by their pockets'. How someone would even begin to go about enforcing that law in the face of blatant smuggling you cannot conceive.

Still, you pay your relatively minor dues with a smile and move on from the humble confines of the Terrestrial Wards upwards on wing and spell until you come upon a strange mirrored tower, like a silver needle sharpened at both ends slowly turning around its axis to some unknown celestial rhythm.

There is not a soul in sight, save Embra, waving you cheerfully over: "You should probably let me make the call unless you wish the Azur Binder to corner you with questions for twelve turnings of the hour."

Thankful for her advice, though a touch wistful in knowing Lya would have greatly enjoyed the conversation, you allow the Djinn Lady to step forth and make the trade.

Aegon's Crown seems no different from before save for perhaps a faint blue luster to its smoky metal as it lies among jewels and treasures that would be the envy of even the great lords of the Freehold. Within them lie bound wards mighty enough that even the gods themselves cannot lightly peer pass them. As you finally settle the crown upon your head you wonder with grim amusement how many of your foes became considerably more concerned for no longer being able to read your metaphorical hand in the mirror.

Commissions Acquired

  • Conqueror's Crown enchanted as a Cowl of Warding
  • 2x Earrings of Mind Blank
  • 3x +1 Soulfire Mithral Buckler (Soulfire Bracelets)
  • Monk's Belt
  • Greater Truedeath Crystal
  • Lesser Fire Asault Crystal

***

Alas that the rest of your day cannot be quite so straightforward. Alas called the Whisperer, the genie-kin mage you had hired last month, is not at the Pendulum together with the others at the appointed hour. The regulars say they have not seen him in more than a week, though he 'had been fit to fly at a gust of wind' lately. As uncanny as the setting may be the tale sounds all too familiar.

"Think something caught up with him?" Ser Richard asks, his thoughts obviously running alongside yours.

"Mayhap he took the offer because he had a reason to get away from the city," you nod.

"We should go rescue him!" Embra announces with worrying good cheer.

What do you do?

[] Investigate yourself
-[] Use Sending to get in touch with the genie-kin mage, or at least check to see if he is alive
-[] Use divination and Ears of the City to try and track the missing mage down
-[] Write in

[] Let the authorities handle it, you have other business in the city

[] Send some of the others to handle the matter
-[] Write in who

OOC: What happened here was a low roll for a random encounter, but rather than a literal encounter that might have felt a little too random you have a missing sell-spell on your hands, which of course does not obligate you to rescue him, but on the other hand you did pay the man in advance.

Never doubt the Bold.

And if nothing else Jaime should have an inflated threat level due to some swanky ass gear from Daddy Dearest.

Wow... This is great.:D

Adding to the front page.

What if... We fabricate a few obsidian young dragons fill out the details with Viserys blood then sacrifice the Heart to Yss to add life? Wind domain?

*Rubs hands together*

Feel like doing some mad maegic!

Wow... This is great.:D

I appreciate that and I'm glad you like it!
However, it really isn't how Oathkeeper currently looks, no matter how much I'd wish otherwise :/
I can probably do the more mundane version tomorrow?
Won't take long, just have to erase the devil-skull and Doom-rune from it.

You are doing it backwards. We will add a Devil skull and a Doomrune if necessary.

@Everyone I have adjusted the schedule so that Viserys, Richard, and Lya can all work on the cloak during the 11th, 12th, and 13th of the month, right before the Conference.
<hugs> - that means we can wear it during the conference. Even our guests should take notice of that wardrobe :).

I think Viserys has something in common with Yss: "A deal's a deal is a deal."

As you finally settle the crown upon your head you wonder with grim amusement how many of your foes became considerably more concerned for no longer being able to read your metaphorical hand in the mirror.
Meanwhile on Planetos

Servant: "Your Serenity... I bring troubling news from the Silver Eye."
Sealord: "What is it?"
Servant: "They are no longer able to divine his next actions."
Sealord: "... This would be a good moment for a brandy or six..."
Servant: "I will bring you a glass immediately, your Serenity."
Sealord: "I meant bottles."

Mage: *shouting over the red alert* "But what should we do!? What!?"
Zherys: *sits at the table and quietly sobs*

Lanna: "Uhm... about the Dragon..."
Tywin: "Have you finally divined a good moment to attack?"
Lanna: "Well... I didn't get any signs of his interference this time..."
Tywin: "Perfect. Attack at once."
Lanna: "I did get some responses that my children will grow up as orphans though."
Tywin: "..."
Lanna: "There was also something about a 'Casterly Crater'."
Tywin: "..."

Robert: *blinks* "I have the sudden feeling I should become way more drunk then usual."
