Eh. Kinda the first situation in ages were it would have been even remotely useful anyway.

[X] Plan All My Little Shinies
-[X] Viserys drinks a potion of Lesser Restoration. Richard is patched up by Healing Belts and CLW potions.
-[X] Use Baleful Polymorph to secure the Demon. He has an appointment with Vee and the Old Gods.
-[X] Kill two of the cultists and take their bodies.
-[X] Teleport to the main forces of the Fiery hand. Drop off the prisoners, bodies and cultists there for safekeeping until you have time to question them, then aid the Fiery Hand against the Unsullied by Magic Army and Searing, Agonising Fireshield.
No need for Richard to drink CLW potions. Viserys has a Page of Spell Knowledge with CLW now.

@Azel thought: If we end up in a battle against muggles when we arrive, maybe send out some ravens before heading off to an actual fight, or even just summon some ravens as soon as we cast magic army?

or however it works out, if we're not fighting a demon when we arrive, summon ravens?

I would definitely like a Page of Spell Knowledge for Deep Slumber, right alongside one for Dimensional Anchor. Both happen to be primary sacrifice-gathering spells.

It's not ideal, but Greater Shadow Enchantment can be used to duplicate Deep Slumber, and with a higher save DC.

We need either commission that artifact that allows to use petrifying Breath Weapon, or buy more gorgons and find a way to bottle their breath.
Petrifying grenades are a must for Inquisition, B-team (and even us sometimes).

So many Research actions, so little time :/

...or is there..?
@Goldfish, @Duesal, @Azel, how about setting Waymar down with a task to find a way to bottle breath weapons next turn?
Standard buff routine from Naria applied to the last bit.
DP said it would be possible but would be "a difficult Alchemy check to beat".

Random thought: when we'll be doing the whole "sacrifice 500-700HD to Dawn Age Tree" routine, if we use Dark Sister for that, she might just get an upgrade, from sheer scale and power produced, if not OGs themselves.

She is a weapon, not a tool.
She would do It, but she would not enjoy It and i doubt she would grow from It, or want to.

I'm also more than a little tempted to see if we can reserve these cultists for our own purposes. Keep what you catch and all that.

Xor, the abhorred, the gentleman bachelor we adore! (Xor!) Xor, the floating friendly horror, the buoyant troubadour! (Xor!)

Xor, Xor, how we adore, Xor!

OOC: Not how I expected this to go but as I realized you had almost one one-shoted the Maelephant through some lucky rolls I realized it would have to get creative. It figured (correctly) that it had a higher con score than Ser Richard and could hold its breath longer, plus diving into the water broke line of sight with Viserys so it it could not be flash-fried. It did not account for Viserys' stubbornness however. So now you even got a prisoner.
... do demons/daemons need to breathe?

I distinctly recall Viserys asking him to promise to kill him if he became mad like his father.

And Richard didn't say "yes", he essentially said "fuck that, I'll find a way" to save him.

Ah yes, the mysterious teacher / "retired-hero" trope were the young group pf adventurers defeat the big bad by stabbing it with the deus ex machina only for their belowed teacher to turn on them and humbly accept the praise his dragon emporor rumbles for freeing him of the curse. :p

Edit: If it were for the risk of glass splinters Id type out an omake during my break later.

"water you speak yet a third wish to cleanse" -> "You speak a second wish to cleanse"?

"So resolved you grant Ser Richard a blessing of swiftness" ->? What spell is this? Should he not righteous wrath from Dany anyway (so, haste effect). OH! is it nerveskitter?

@Azel:

"One raises a knife to strike down the white clad prisoner besides him.... and then the shadows twist to your command, compelling all of them to slummer".
These guys are unconscious already. Just kill... (8 - 1X richard - 2 X prisoners - 1Xturtle) = room for four cultists.

kill two of the cultists and bring their corpses/skulls and then just drop off the cultists with the fiery hand "for interrogation later" when we drop off the victims?

  1. Third should be second now.
  2. The blessing is haste, since otherwise he could not make a charge that long.

@Goldfish, @Duesal, basically the action planners. A thought. Can we have Malarys poke a bit at Balerion's temple at Volantis? If Meraxes still exists somewhat, how much more the head of the pantheon?

What if Syrax's gamble in Viserys' dream was to leave echoes of the Fourteen for us to locate?

Speaking of Malarys, we need to have a turn action on what to do with the four Essarian sleepers... Which DP still ignores questions regarding the Fourth. He/she is important! (My guess is the fourth sleeper is Balerion incarnate)

Also about the Valryrian mythology, it appears that DP has this set in this setting:

Balerion: War
Meraxes: Soldiers
Vhagar: Death
Syrax: Time

Who are the other 10? Potential names: Vermithor, Melys, Caraxes, Tessarion, Vermax, Arrax, Tyraxes, Morghul, Shrykos...

Yeah, dragon names in canon. DP could have House Targaryen been tad pious to the new faith and continued the tradition of naming their mounts after their abandoned dead gods.
