You are going to have to do something about the sleeping cultists an former prisoners too, even if it's only slitting the throats of the former and pointing the latter to the surface.

I don't want to go through the whole song and dance of explaining stuff right now, but those guys are likely useful. Also, they don't need to see us harvesting skulls.
They are alive, and thus can be sacrificed and interrogated, no need to take those skulls yet.

Just deal enough nonlethal damage to make them sleep during the whole coup.
We are on the clock and it's more likely that Zherys will get them before we return.

These guys are unconscious already. Just kill... (8 - 1X richard - 2 X prisoners - 1Xturtle) = room for four cultists.

kill two of the cultists and bring their corpses/skulls and then just drop off the cultists with the fiery hand "for interrogation later" when we drop off the victims?
 
Remember back at the start when his caution came in part from a healthy survival instinct? When he seriously considered killing us if we went too far down the path of the evil Sorcerer-King?

I distinctly recall Viserys asking him to promise to kill him if he became mad like his father.

And Richard didn't say "yes", he essentially said "fuck that, I'll find a way" to save him.

@Azel Deep Slumber needs a use of AA so two spells and it locks feats for the day, why not just say, "no time, will get to you later, accept my teleport spell"?

Or hit them in the head :)

A long time ago. Probably for AA.

Spend enough time to ask, and if they hesitate, knock them out. Actually, these could well be willing sacrifices (it's possible). Maybe just knock them out. Or ask DP to retcon us casting whatever spell we cast on the cultists to include the prisoners?

@Azel, killing the cultists may fulfill the ritual anyway. Remember Damphair's gamble.

I suggest we polymorph them as well instead for proper "justice."

Any situation where it may be useful can probably be covered by greater shadow enchantment. Trading it out was totally worth it.

Damn, so the Elephants not only have mounts, but now they have their own distinctive demon?
And the poor Tigers still havent managed to tame a single tiger mount (and losing several members in the process). At this rate they might have to settle for a cereal mascot.
