I'm not opposed to authorizing an offensive if it's the most correct course of action, but I'm not satisfied it is.
It feels a little too much like jumping the gun, given how little information we have on what happened. It could be that the Konen are baiting us to attack, or it could be a bit of reverse psychology on their part, hoping we turtle up so they can claim some space themselves. I want more information, so holding off the attack to get more reinforcements and give our intelligence apparatus a chance to get us some info seems the best course of action for me:
