I'll be honest, I'm for appointing Leaniss and getting her on the Sarek specifically because I suspect she'll want a 10-year and the Sarek as the more prestigious command will likely give her the best chance of actually getting that 10-year.

That said, her bonus would probably improve with seasoning.

I like Klasch's bonus as well as Kanil's. Plus this gets us at least one non-human out there. I'm definitely on board for getting Leaniss on the next 5YM though, when she's had just a touch more time under her belt.
Though considering she's Captaining the lead ship of our newest (active) starship class, her current assignment is pretty nice.

Voting for the two youngest because they can afford to have their careers delayed by a 5YM and still achieve things afterwards, their bonuses aren't bad either. I eventually want a Commander of Starfleet who was one of our 5YM captains.

Samyr Kanil is an honorary Vulcan. She was obviously supposed to be a Vulcan when she first appeared in an omake, but then showed up as a human female in canon.

My take is that she's a human follower of Surakian philosophy.

While we don't have a direct successor to the Rock Whisperer, a medicine focused captain isn't a bad substitute with a new flavor. No other particular favorites for the other spot.

Edit: In addition, non-human, which is a nice plus.

Edit2: Okay, looks like the above won't happen. I'll see if I can help her get the other ship.
