I think you're reading into things too far, and paradoxically not far enough, but that's not anything we're going to agree on.
The only option is compromise: maximum Mountain meridians for maximal rugged manly hugeness. And implacability and forthrightness I guess.
Used mine to leg up Wits a dot, in case Ling Qi needs them on the next turn's social events.Who has omake points left? @FixerUpper and @Erebeal and @Grosstoad? Anyone else? Because if @Katreus decide to put the overflow to Physical it might be good to put a few points there as it could be enough to get Mid Silver. Well, if Plan Hatei wins.
Any Qi imbalance quirks supposedly won't get pronounced that fast.Yeah, that's self-reinforcing for all our negative avoidance behavior. Yin, moon fickle, and winds tendency to disengage and remove itself for situations, to overcome by letting go and escaping?

Of course, I feel a little bad about using points gained for a picture of Gu Xiulan to rank up silver faster, given our last conversation on silver breakthroughs![]()

missing periodBai Meizhen simply stood with arms crossed, waiting with apparent patience
Really loved that, was grinning the whole way through. Can always do with more fluff and seeing Meizhen all bewildered by Qi's reality warping protagonist quirkiness was adorable. So I decided to have a go at writing an omake:
Just Another Day(s)
It was another tiring day, after a gruelling session with Elder Ling. As Bai Meizhentrudgedwalked upon the route that would take her back to her house, her cousin Cui, wrapped snugly round her neck, spoke up:
"When are you going to show more affection to the little mouse, cousin?"
"W-what? Affection? Ling Qi and I are just friends, nothing more!", Meizhen replied as she began her descent down a flight of stairs.
"Affection can be between friends too. Hsss. The little mouse is a good friend."
"… Seems like you like Ling Qi quite a lot yourself, Cui. So what brought this on? Was it the numerous rabbits Ling Qi has been bribing you with? Tsk."
Before Cui could reply, they rounded the last corner to their house. Ahead, Bai could make out faint cries of distress coming from the house. Was Ling Qi in trouble?! Fearing the worse, Bai gathered the shadows to herself and sprang forward with utmost haste. She smashed through the door rather than waste time opening it, only to find that the cries were coming from a newly born dragon-tortoise, and Ling Qi was frantically running around like a headless chicken. Upon spotting her housemate, Ling Qi immediately blurted out:
"Help, help! The egg has hatched and I have no idea what to do! Do I feed it milk? Cores? Should I clean it? Put it in water? On blankets? Ahhhhhh!!"
At that, Bai felt an all too familiar urge creep up on her. Unlike the (numerous!) previous times however, this time Bai finally gave in and brought her hand up slowly, gracefully, to meet her face.
"Only you Ling Qi, only you."

(This part is inspired by comments made by Arkeus and Kshail)
Today was a day Ling Qi decided to bring her adorable 'little' spirit beast out for a relaxing walk and some fresh air, dragging her housemate Bai Meizhen (reluctantly) along for the company. Alas, their relaxing walk was cut short by encountering some random disciples, who proceeded to gawk at the enormous spirit beast accompanying them.
"Oh my Spirits, look at that huge Tortoise! Why does that peasant get to have one!?", exclaimed random onlooker number one.
"No, I'm a turtle!"
"Wut, but you are obviously a tor-", said number two.
"Turtle!"
"No, seriously, you're a-", a third tried to argue.
"TURTLE!! BECAUSE MOMMY SAID SO!"
The whole gaggle of onlookers turned to stare at Ling Qi, who gave a sheepish smile and scratched the back of her head. All save onemousywimpy boy who, lacking any sense of self-preservation whatsoever, attempted to press the issue.
"B-but y-"
"DO YOU WANT TO MAKE ME ANGRY?! YOU WON'T LIKE ME WHEN I'M ANGRY!!" (Fires off lots of steam and well, fire. Ground shakes)
*Several very audible gulps could be heard*
Looking at the scene in front of her, Meizhen could only sigh and facepalm, hand greeting face like an old friend.
"Only you could convince a tortoise that it is a turtle. Only y-"
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!?!"
"Nothing!"
We could be related...maybe?At the beginning though, you called the Elder giving Meizhen tutelage Ling but her name's Ying.
That's a pretty long shot when 100 or so last names are shared between most everyone.
Or maybe we've underestimated Meizhen's crush and she sees the world through Ling Qi-tinted glasses?
@Shadell - I'd be willing to switch to your plan form Plan Haitei, for a total two vote swing, if you add a Steady Growth Pill. There is no reason not to do it - we've got THREE physical rolls, and two of them roll over 1/3 of their successes to qi.
So Moon makes you have a urge to do things in a specific way.(?)Also, technically, despite the ever-changing face, Moon is actually not fickle. The Moon has a constant cycle that it follows

Given the authors mentioned that we Si Ling and Li Suyin can learn AMA, I really think an addendum should be made to the leading plans argent vent votes to share it. The art itself only needs 20 successes to learn, which should be easy enough for the both of them particularly with the automatic 5 from the vent. The abilities and passives of it is where it really shines though, as I previously considered it in the context of human opposition, but it has arguably considerably more value when facing spirit beasts given you're more likely to face them in combat and kill them, and Suyin has been noted to have been taking gathering missions and Su Ling has always been hunting.Mountain, Lake

The author clarified that it was a throw away line that doesn't need to be followed up on.Say, you think we can add a minor note to the Han Jian hunting action along the lines of "while hunting, keep your eyes peeled for a couple rats for Cui"? We did promise after all.
It's really hard to say what Moon would be. It might be some "flip side of the sun" kind of thing, it might be related to cycles, it's kinda in the air right now as far as I can see.So Moon makes you have a urge to do things in a specific way.(?)
