Give Hultressa some time to recuperate. She's been going full tilt ever since she picked up Frederick and Co. Based on how she almost went full Wrathful Matriarch on Eldrya, she could really benefit from some R&R. Especially since she'll be leaving Gwendolyn alone with Eldrya during the auction.
This is the calm before the storm. Making sure everyone's resolve is solid will pay off dividends.

I hope this wins. Hultressa getting a boost to her combat ability, or utility for the auction, and later? I feel is essential.

For me this comes down to boost the one person that doesn't have some kinda of extra thing going for her in the retinue, except for her magic.

Or to go for the bombs, which might not be needed to strengthen since the position of Hultressa's sister seems more volatile than believed. The Cult of Khaine are a weak supporter for Alyssa Voidreaper.

I want Hultressa at her absolute best for the auction, the greater chance she lives, and the greater chance she can do the best she can. Against others who similarily may be dressed or have extra things like Hultressa will have. This auction must be expected to go pear shape by other groups. The bubbling opportunity on the ark cannot be unnoticed by the opportunistic druchii.

I'm with the conservatives on this one. We have laid the groundwork as much as we can. Now we throw the dice.
Also, i doubt that Roland and Nat is going to sit idle while things blow up. Having our questing knight be with our wife as manure impacts the air conditioning is not a bad thing either.

[X] Pyramid - The more bombs, the more confusion amongst the overseers, the more manipulation, the greater the effect when the trigger is finally pulled. The greater the effect, the worse of Alyssa's position on the Ark will be, and the worse the food crisis would become. Hultressa will already be spending time with this, and has done so already, but the more she does, the better the end result - or worse, if you are Alyssa Voidreaper. The kind of destruction that could occur if properly focused upon could be quite effective if triggered at the right time, even if it is just to force Alyssa to send away some of her strength at the Auction to investigate.
 
Cult we send them against the docks? If they are that fanatic, they might actually bite.
My thoughts:


-if the evidence is good enough, part of the courtesanrivals would definitely check it because of the hatred


- nobody who wants the arc to go on would attack the sharkgod. so false evidence is less suspect

-nobody who wants the arc to go on would want the sharkgod attacked, so this would lead to everyone triying to stop the confrontation.Which means its a very good distraction, but probably not as destructive as another target

-the sharkpriests would , traditionally , not be inolved much by outsider intrigue, so they are less prepared than other groups for this. They are still druchii, so still not easy

-maybe some of this can be done by our favourite ( ok my favourite at least)vampire,she was already sneaking around. Getting floorplans and advice from hultressa would mean overall less work for humtressa then doing this, too

negatives:
-> they know someone is sabotaging because waterfarms.
->this is less overall distructive

->a distraction is best when its precise, this is not predictable enough to be precise

And, no I'm not saying that I think that that is what Tor is planning.
All other things being equal, Random Number Gods are all a bunch of old biddies who love themselves some drama. That's all.

So, yeah.
I think Hultressa should be at her top game when the inevitable does happen.

I don't remember the 4th edition spell, but Transmutation of the Unstable Mind has the problem that it either improves or worsens the target's condition, there is no middle ground where it just leaves them as they were. So you're always taking a risk.

If possible, I wanted us to basically accuse the Slanneesh Cult among the Mathlann, so that it can cause absolute chaos and also a huge dilemma for Voidreaper.

But since we can't, better to take stock, prep and rest. That way Hultressa can gather all her stuff and goodies that she may or may not forgotten.

Also, one last chance to get everyone to interact and calm down. We need Eldrya, Hult and Gwen to be all at least moderately neutral since everyone is gonna be depending on each other.

Hult has a good bodyguard/infiltrator with Johanna, we're going to be the muscle to bust the door down and extract them out.

As for Transmutation of the Unstable Mind, you only worsen the target's insanity if you mess up the spell, and Hultressa is too good at magic to do that.

[X] Retinue - The more effort and time Hultressa puts into this act, the more assets she can actually bring with her to the Auction as her presumed efforts 'work out' in terms of recruitment. Some effort will already be made, enough to bring Frederick, but any other assets will require some time put towards this. Doing so will allow Hultressa to much more strongly justify bringing in others, arming them even as her guards, and so on. Therefore, once you are at the Temple of Khaine, you will have that many more weapons and bodies at hand to aid you.

You can assume that the additional time constraint of half a day compared to a full one carries penalties with it. And also that the more effort she's able to put in, i.e. success, the better the result. Remember, it's about building a profile for recruitment with backfilled excuses and reasoning as to why [blank] hasn't been seen around much on the Ark but oop Hultressa has found them.

Thanks! I'm currently suffering from some kind of allergy or something that's been making my head fuzzy and just generally not feeling great for a bit now, I think it's a mild flu maybe, so it's actually been quite a struggle. I was hoping to post this the day of closing the vote, but just couldn't manage it.
