Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

"Because honestly, everyone else didn't seem true enough. They may have thought that the script was silly and just a quick payday. I know you did. But you tried, damn you impressed me, in a way that few people that I had auditioned had for you."

You leaned forward. "You impressed me, because you looked at that script and hated it, but still gave it a shot."

Ron Howard with the Nat 90: Well I guess I suck.

Lol, really hope we can give Ron another chance in one of our movies. I said it before and I'll say it again when the time comes, I want him as James in Kung Fu Kid. A role in hte Star Wars anthology would also be good. Fortunately, Ron's career is stable because Happy Days is releasing its second season and he should have the third wrapped and shot so no risk of cancellation due to the strike as long as it's as successful as OTL.

Speaking of TV, is season 4 of MASH just going to consist of 12-13 episodes that will be released in the Fall of 1975 or will shooting for the rest of the season continue after the strike is over? I'm curious cause we haven't had a MASH production results yet.

Also I assume the results of Alan's Deal will be shown after Star Wars is done filming?

[X] Plan: Poor Robot
-[X] The Blasters, and All who use them: Who taught these people how to hold firearms! They may be props but they should be treated as real to sell the fantasy.
-[X] The Lightsaber Props: Finally they came in… now to see if they… Why are they so brittle?
-[x] Anthony and the Golden Plastic: You don't pity him for being in the suit, but something told you that things were going to be very uncomfortable there. Especially with a piece stabbing into his leg that they couldn't fix.

I have it written but the problem was I didn't know when to post it… so I'm waiting till after production of Star Wars to post it.

Yep.

couldn't use the rain for very cool shots.
*30 Years Later*

"Bruce, I...wait, you're telling me that you saved and kept film reel of it just raining in Tunisia? Why?"

"It was supposed to be for a white noise reel (I think kids these days call it ASMR) and I didn't notice it until way too late, so I had a fresh one shipped over to us [from my own pocket]. I completely forgot about it until Carrie got pissed at me awhile back for my prop collection getting too big for the Man Cave and made me Spring Clean it to hell and back, so I figured we could use it for something here."

"Sure I can– wait, a Prop Collection? Is that where your Han Solo and three original Stormtrooper outfits costume went?!"

"...I should nae have said tha'. I should never have said tha'."

Lmao, there's actually a high possibility of this becoming Canon because Debbie Reynolds was a huge collector of Hollywood props and memorabillia, actually the largest private owned in history with tens of thousands of assorted items and many of Hollywood's most famous such as Charlie Chaplin's bowler hat and Marilyn Monroe's dress. Considering how close Debbie and Bruce is with Bruce probably thinking of Debbie as his second mother, I imagine one of her many influences is passing on the collection passion for Bruce and thus Star Wars sees the beginning of Bruce's lifestyle as a movie hoarder. If nothing else, we should be a good son-in-law and channel our inner Han Solo to smuggle some genuine Star Wars props, costumes and set pieces to join Debbie's collection, easy birthday and Christmas material.

Is it wrong that I want to do something devious now…

I'm going to wait because it's all fun and games until bad get involved :V

Damn. 1975.

Fall of Saigon right there in April.
We should probably try to do so something O'Brian Foundation related with the returning veterans.

I was hoping that once we get Star Wars money that we can create a charity organization dedicated to providing aid to the boat people and helping them to resettle in the West along with rescuing half-American Vietnamese children. There really wasn't any large private efforts to aid them OTL and most government officials were apathetic or hostile with Governor Jerry Brown of California notably being hostile because he believed they were a burden on the state when they already had to deal with California's poor and impoverished. Best to wait until '76 or '77 so not only can we build up our charity chest, but the post-war situation in Vietnam will settle and we can coordinate with the UN missions.

Also we'll need to pour in some more money into the O'Reilly Foundation because the fall of Saigon is probably going to overload depression and suicidal thoughts for a lot of veterans after witnessing how their years of suffering and sacrifice was completely for nothing and America lost with a lot of people cheering on the North.

We should create a Scholarship fund for Students that are related to Veterans. (Of course has to be Parental Generation, Grandapa Generation, and Great Grandfather Generation.)

Already exists in California and a lot of the wealthier states. Plus one of the main missions of the O'Reilly Foundation is to help returning veterans to be reintegrated into society through either education or vocational aid which would hopefully give them enough financial stability to help their kids go through college, not to mention we're not at that point yet where every kid needs to go to get a decent job.

Bad Magoose, only happy wholesome fun for the Goose:
