Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

[X] Plan: The Human Touch
-[X]The Master: Mifune was having trouble talking to people on set, and his interpreter was not helping him that much getting the nuances of the pranks you were doing. Or rather, why you did do them in the first place with George?
-[X]Mark the Hero: Mark is kinda… well he's nervous, while he does not know about much of the story, he's adamant about trying to make it work. Though there is a problem. He isn't getting into the script.
-[X]Peter Diamond and the Stunts here: Peter is a master stuntman, and someone you have learned to admire, but you both know that the stunt planned is dangerous, and you both want to practice it, to make sure it gets done right.

[X] Plan: River in a dry land

[X]Some Last Minute Script Changes: You need to talk to George about some of the dialogue that is there. Or just something that needs to be changed (Linetail to expand what you want to change)
[X]Include the rain in the script somehow. A once in a generation occurrence like this needs to be capitalized on!

Wait, we had a -40 to production disaster rolls thanks to pre-production, so shouldn't the roll be a -33? And how did a 7 result in the rain from OTL? I would have assumed that would be a 35-60ish.

Also when will we see the outcome of Alan's Deal?

With the rain going on as it is we can't do anything outside, however we can help the actors feel better and wit their lines to make sure they don't screw up. It's a bid odd with Toshiro, I mean the guy always trained himself to learn the language of the film he was acting in to the point he was like a native speaker. Guess since we sprung this at the last minute he didn't have enough time.

I don't think there's an issue with his lines. I interpreted the action more as Toshiro is having trouble communicating with the crew on a conversational level outside of the scenes, which makes sense since he only memorizes the script given and doesn't take the effort to learn the full language like Bruce. So he's in an American dominated production and he doesn't understand American social cues and customs and probably feels a bit uncomfortable coming from introverted Japanese culture to extroverted and outlandish American culture.

[X] Plan: The Human Touch

Really great plan that covers the great fundamentals. Wish we could incorporate the rain but I don't know how to without breaking the pacing and Bruce should focus on his craft of stuntwork so he can be given more directorial responsibilities by George and hopefully direct Empire or Return. Really hope we have great rolls with Toshiro and Mark, especially Mark because he's a really cool dude and I want Bruce to become Bros with him after Graffiti where we kind of came off as a hardass stick in the mud boss and didn't get a chance to form really strong bonds with the cast. Plus Mark is gonna be our space brother-in-law, lol.

It's a 7, it was supposed to be 47 with a -40, but I completely pasted the wrong roll. That was my mistake.

As for the rain, this time it happened immediately after they arrived, not when they began building the set.

Meaning you're only delayed a day, rather than a few weeks due to...

Sets are being destroyed by random acts of god.

Correct.

Also, Bruce and George have small pranks to keep the stress from getting to them like it was Graffiti.

... You know what...

Who wants a double update?

I can do that.

[X] Plan: The Human Touch

As a side note, since Bruce is essentially a firearm aficionado (probably one of the only few on set), he's going to be nerding out over the "blasters" we're using on set, isn't he? Which, by and by, probably means he's also going to ensure that everyone follows firearm safety while using them, ain't he? Like, instead of looking like kids with the guns like here-
-will be far more accurate to somebody raised on a far out in the dangerous part of the "sticks" like here-
- ain't he?
