I second this @torroar, are our Titan Cannons still active or are they destroyed. and where is the Vapor Tanks we brought with us?

Good point. Disregard than,
Well we have the ogres so moving them should be doableThe tanks I'm less concerned about, since the fog of war stuff applies, but the cannons represented their own hard points from vantage positions and are impossible to move besides, so we should be able to tell that much at the very least I think
Im.hopeful though. If they're still able to contribute then that's fucking excellent news. Maybe not for our super immediate needs, but that's still immense pressure being applied towards whatever it is they're being aimed at
I wouldn't really want to, though. Whatever they're doing is very clearly working lol
Theres literally only one person saying that and hes using it as an argument against my plan. No one's seriously arguing that its invulnerable, but heavy breakthrough ability at will without a way to quickly suppress it on hand means it's going to get away with a lot of damage when it appears.Just writing off our artillery because apperantly the 3rd dragon is invulnerable is foolish

It's not a write off, it's an investment. If we get lucky and the artillery survive in meaningful amounts for another round and the Druchii shift away from throwing infantry en masse at us then yeah we can swap back to artillery duels. But for right this second, we need to leverage our advantages as best we can while we still have them for certain.
The entire premise of the Druchiis chosen approach appears to be to ablate our defenses with chaff of all kinds so that their meaningful elite cadres can enter danger close range with impunity. Our best way to stop that is to overwhelm those ablative layers with sheer weight of fire.
Once that happens they should adjust and the need should become less urgent for the artillery to focus on them.
They're even short on war Beasts, apparently.
And he didnt have an answer as to what form that retaliation would take, either. The best we can do is hope it either doesnt happen or that we've loosened up enough slack in our forces to enable a quick containment for when it does happen.I agree with that person that we need to prevent the dragon from just attacking us without retaliation.
...what?After the dragon destroyed our artillery it won't suddenly be dead, it will just turn towards destroying less valuable stuff, so investing our very valuable artillery into distracting the dragon for just the time it takes to kill them doesn't make sense.
??? The dragons are dead.Your entire argument is that we can't fight against the dragon, we apperantly don't have anything against them despite still having access to the ogre archers and oskana.
That means that the artillery will fire on the enemy infantry, die to the dragon that can't be relatiated against and the dragon will turn towards our other troops after that.
If we cannot retaliate against the dragon we have already lost, if you truly believe that we can't do it then you need to plan for our retreat
Their is still one Dragon and its rider, they just retreated to one of the black arks.

We don't have any reserves capable of immediately blocking him. Recognizing that our supercombatants are stretched thin and our rank and file arent enough to meaningfully harm a matured Dragon and its Rider are not the same thing as whatever it is you're straw manning. The best we can do is hope it either doesnt happen or that we've loosened up enough slack in our forces to enable a quick containment for when it does happen.
Yes. That's going to happen because we dont have anything capable of preventing him from immediately doing so. That's what makes Black Dragons such a huge threat in the first place. That means that the artillery will fire on the enemy infantry, die to the dragon that can't be relatiated against and the dragon will turn towards our other troops after that.
...But I dont need to, because theres ways to contain the effects of that damage and win anyway? If we cannot retaliate against the dragon we have already lost, if you truly believe that we can't do it then you need to plan for our retreat
