He's actually in the Forest of Shadows last I remembered. He escaped there after his defeat and supposed death at the Battle of Beekerhoven to lay low. The rumors say he's still lurking there and End Times confirms it.

I think it's so damn funny that Mathilde has twice done everything right during her mid-battle teleport-stab go-to move, and it keeps failing because she uses it on things that are so much faster than human it literally doesn't matter; 'I'm suddenly here now, mid-swing' is still too slow.

This isn't the time to get fancy, this is a time to use overwhelming firepower to punish a hilarious overextension.

No tricks, no traps, just go for the fucking throat. This is liable to be enough firepower that even if she gets raptured to safety by Act of Setting, it's gonna leave a mark she won't easily make go away. She doesn't have Daemon level nigh-immortality going for her after all and she was caught completely unawares by cannonsword and another Ulgu weaver here. She was expecting a milkrun and ran into a pikeline, she probably hasn't prepared any special "I might be in serious danger" contingencies given the complete failure of scouting she's done.

The sad thing is, even if Drycha had prepared for an Ulgu spellcaster, she probably wasn't prepared for canon sword, possibly followed up by a pocket nuke.

I am suddenly reminded of the Elephantine school of stealth.
