    TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

    To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

    I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

    I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

    I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

    I'll see you all around.

    Took all the options that can help us for the movie, and a final one for us to destress a bit since we are going to be giving our all both physically and mentally.

    Same as Be Prepared except swapping out Take a Walk for trying to get a bigger role, or at least one that gives us more exposure - say, getting an actual fight scene with Bruce Lee rather than just being a mook that gets knocked out with one punch or kick. Although 'The Big Boss' was made by Hong Kong cinema it wasn't actually set in Hong Kong - it was set in Thailand with exclusively Asian actors, so maybe the script would have to be changed somewhat to explain the presence of a non-Asian in the story.
     
    I just checked on the movie we are going to be taking part of and...well, the only part that seems to fit us is going to be the one of the Russian who is a friend to one of the main villains. I don't know if we can do more options before we start filming, but if so then we should try and see if we can work on our writing and in getting a better role.

    there is a lot of action while the movies are being acted out

    one of them is to try to negotiate to change the script, the more drastic the change they want, the more difficult it will be and the less arguments they have, the more difficult it will be.

    No it doesn't - the movie we are working on is 'The Big Boss' (which was released in the US as 'Fists of Fury') not 'Fist of Fury (which was released in the US as 'The Chinese Connection'), which had a Russian mob boss in it. But that won't be made for another year - see Magoose's post for last turn. 'The Big Boss' does not have *any* non-Asian characters in it for our guy to play - the script is going to have to be modified to accommodate him, which is why I chose Role Change on my plan - so there will actually be a role for our character to play.

    Read the Wikipedia article about 'The Big Boss' - It was not unusual in Hong Kong cinema for the director to amend the script during filming, and The Big Boss was no exception. When Lo Wei replaced the original director in late July 1971, he was unhappy with the script and re-wrote it, without Bruce's knowledge. Lo later recalled, "I wouldn't tell him I was re-writing the script for fear of affecting his morale. In my hotel room, he would often discuss the script with me which would leave me tongue-tied, so I would tell him I needed to rest, and as soon as he left I would be burning the midnight oil in order to get the script ready for the next day's filming.

    So getting the script amended to add a non-Asian character shouldn't be too much of a deal breaker if we can convince the right people.

    @Magoose If I write up a plot summary for the film like in the Wikipedia article, but modify it to include a non-Asian character to make room for our gy, would that count as an acceptable omake?

    It would be acceptable, provided that it is coherent and easy to read.

    that was information I wanted to get out (out of anxiety) and just overmind's comment gave me the perfect excuse.
