Regarding Alric and the Night Prowler, I think it's important to remember that for all of Mathilde's infiltration prowess, Alric almost certainly has access to Eyes of Truth, which should no-sell Mathilde's usual Ulgu based toolkit and traits like Unseen, and he's investigating a series of murders, which means he's probably using it regularly.

Eyes of Truth: You see through all illusions, invisibility, concealment, darkness and disguises nearby, severely cramping the Grey Order's style. Causes the eyes to literally glow, lasts less than a minute.

- The Night Prowler: As long as you are outside of private property and within a town or city, nobody will question your presence and nobody will be able to find you if you do not wish them to. For non-human population centres, will work if it's not completely unknown for humans to be present, or if you are disguised as that species.

Therefore, one important question is which effect we think will take precedence.

One is a three time Supreme Patriarch whose age is in the triple digits.

The other is one of the Major Gods of the Old World.

I think we know who wins that engagement.

Alright everyone, we need to figure out every member of the set of Egrimms possible opinions, so that we have all the necessary follow up questions to 'are you okay?'. We also need to figure out every possible response to those questions, because if the true opinion is 'Deceive Mathilde for the glory of chaos' he is unlikely to confirm that honestly.

And just like that, another step in Egrimm's plan to introduce Mathilde to the glory of Tzeentch is complete.

This is exactly why I put Night Prowler into Plan Compromise, yeah. I'd like to have a starting/fallback point for our snooping that Alric can't just trivially invalidate with Hysh.

I was thinking about making a plan where we scrutinize but don't lay foundations. After all, we might find insights that require further actions before laying foundations.

Plan Compromise is acceptable though. I'm not that much of a fan of using two actions on Gryphon Wood, but I can see the point. And while I'd love to start exploring trade avenues with the Eonir, it's not a deal breaker for me.

Can someone explain to me why we have max research the kurgan weapons if we... Oh I don't know... Could finally learn how to use the damn gyrocopter we have that has been covering dust in karak eight peak?
Just a note, its not gathering dust we have been using it to travel. Its just that we need to schedule the dwarf pilot in advance so we can only use it for our cross continent commute or travel planed in advance. Getting our own pilot would allow us to travel with it at a whim.

Well for one thing the Kurgan weapons are not that worthless, we might learn something from them and even if we do not they are probably worth a bit of gold, you know hand them off to the local elf wizards for some elf gold to fill up our coffers, well that or get CF but we are not hurting on that.

Plan Compromise does just that (scrutinizing but not laying foundations), so you're in luck.

I said I'll wait 24 hours before approval voting, but I'll cut myself some slack and say that 19 hours is good enough.

[X] Plan Starting up debt free
Plan Starting up debt free has a much better library and EIC action in my opinion, and neither of them are my dream picks, but such is life.

And still voting for my former picks, for the principle of the thing if nothing else.

You know it is kind of funny that after all this time the first time we windherd it happens because of a last moment compromise vote that is mostly concerned with other matters. :V

That's not totally true? One of the frontrunner plans (mine) before the compromise included Windherding. A bunch of people have been interested in doing it for a while. Redshirt's compromise took elements from all three frontrunners and Voltroned them together (one might even say that he Herded a bunch of uncooperative Winds without making Dhar).

The item we make won't be super useful (since it can only be used by either a non-wizard or a Light Wizard, because it puts Hysh in brainmeats), but Egrimm might find it handy or we can just donate it to the Colleges after we write a paper about it. And it only costs 2/3 of an AP to make, which is nice.

I want to switch Max's action in my plan to learning rituals. If I haven't heard much/any pushback against this in about the next 12 hours, I'm going to make that change. And if lots of people support the change, I'll make it sooner just to get things moving.
As someone currently voting for your plan I'm entirely in favor of this change, though unfortunately with Compromise currently gaining steam I'm not sure how much it'll end up mattering.
