[X] Faith
[ ] Truth
Prepare a secure container to store the crystal in, with room for many more to come.
[ ] Faith
Sacrifice the crystal to Ranald in an act of dedication to Him.
[ ] Prudence
Break the crystal, burn your notes, and never again allow the Vitae to touch the Divine.
... Wait, question. Since the results are considered permanent, then, does that mean if Truth or Prudence wins, that we would not use the Vitae to pour energy into Ranald?

i.e. Never do the "fill crystals of divine Ranaldite energy, and then sacrifice it to him to power him up" option ever, because we didn't vote for the Faith option, which means we are not going to be sacrificing any energy to Ranald because doing so would bring his attention to this whole thing?
I mean if that is the case -- because if we were told "If you don't pick Truth, then you don't continue the research" then that means the opposite implication should be true; that it means that if we don't vote to sacrifice this energy to Ranald, then we can't vote to sacrifice it to Ranald in the future -- then that'd make sense, but it hadn't occurred to me to ask that yet.
Is that the case @Boney?
While not picking Truth means we don't continue doing the research path on our own, not picking Faith means we lock out the ability to sacrifice Vitae to Ranald?
If that is the case, in hindsight that should be obvious, but... yeah. "Research this yourself on your own. Or open up the possibility of sacrificing vitae to Ranald."?
Hrm, so... the intent of the Faith choice is all about drawing Ranald's attention to this accomplishment, then?Vitae is the substance of the realm of the Gods. Sacrificing it to Ranald is like sacrificing water to a fish.
While I think there's a good chance that he is deliberately not paying too much attention, that doesn't outright mean he wants Mathilde to go ahead. This is very interesting…
Is Ranald deliberately looking the other way? Ranald may want Mathilde to go ahead with this but also want plausible deniability that he didn't know she was doing this in case she gets caught!

Always nice to see Mathilde getting her Lab on.
It is but at the same time its energy from Ranald in the mortal world that didnt have to pass through a soul which is a bottle neck. Correct me if im wrong?
Does that not have major significance all on its own?
