Given all the crap that happened during the interlude, I doubt telling the Elves about the Ark was a high priority for Freddy. We can tell them about it whenever the next meeting happens.@torroar except for that one mention during Lovely Lauralorn. Did we tell the Elves about that Black Arc or did Freddie forget about it entirely?
Yea no kidding given everything that happened immediately after he mentioned it.Given all the crap that happened during the interlude, I doubt telling the Elves about the Ark was a high priority for Freddy. We can tell them about it whenever the next meeting happens.
Or we could hire and fire no mercenaries until the Elector's Meet. I don't want to take up more RL time that hiring mercs we won't be guaranteed to use will bring. I also want to save as much cash as we can for when our third research action becomes unlocked. That'll cut into our resources.next turn we should fire the Bianca's Black Scorners and hire some new Mercenaries
First off, they are only down to 500 because of the battles they fought for us, before that they were at 1000 just like Leopold's Leopard Company. Second, that still gives them more men then many of the mercenary groups we've hired. Third, they are all skilled pikemen, and even reduced to 500, that's still very noticeable amount when added to all the other pikemen we've hired(and pikemen are at their best the more of them you've got).still we should fire the Bianca's Black Scorners as we are paying to much for only 500 men
[] Plan: Threats and Trade Deals
They are our closest allies. They deserve to know about the lodge to not get blindsided or something.
We should probably tell the Electors and family at least. So that an eye can be kept on it without being forgotten across generations, and as a last resort to blow the whistle.I understand that. That said, Frederick apparently hasn't mentioned the Lodge after the Elector's Meet nor during any of the Trident Meetings since he found out more about them from Hagrid. He would have had ample opportunity to mention it in private with them then, but didn't. I think there's probably an IC reason for that. One reason is the way Magnus addressed the Lodge in private before. I'm sure there's a reason for that. But I do wonder if there's further reason for Frederick not bringing up what he found out (after the Meet) with Stephen and Ortrud. I asked @torroar for clarification.
If it's simply a matter of it falling through the cracks then perhaps it is something that should be shared, so long as it stays mostly quiet. I suspect the reason to keep things quiet is to avoid rampant paranoia against all halflings and to keep the Lodge from escalating. I might vote to include the Lodge under that circumstance.

@torroar
Just to clarify, based on the beginning of the last update did we get across something of our regret for how we acted to Hagrid?
made it a point to apologize to him both in private and publically amongst the rest of your council. It had been no fault of his, you declared, but rather your own fugue state of perpetual anger and lethargy. Thankfully, he seemed to forgive you, and his work proved exemplary both during the investigation and afterwards.
I have no idea how I missed that. Yes, that answers that "yes, we did", but for some reason I recall reading it as apologizing to everyone in general, not him specifically.
