Well, it takes two to tango. But yes, I agree with you. But I don't know her name, and "Do a Kazador and His Wife" is both clunky and has some rather unfortunate colloquial implications.
I guess if you take "Do a Kazador" to mean "locate and marry the single most fertile dwarf woman alive and single today" then your recommendation still works, anyway. Though actually attempting that in any kind of reliable or systematic fashion seems like it would rapidly become a comedy sketch.

I want the tower to be a cultural touchstone for millenia to come. Do things the dwarven way, and don't accept flaws or mistakes. Not because of the practical reasons (although on a practical level, patching the weakness to night and stormy skies is valuable too), but because it's a symbol, just like our sword is.

A symbol that the greatest works of the present can match and surpass ancient wonders, a symbol of the cooperation between Wizards and Runesmiths once again gracing the world, a symbol of the reborn Eight Peaks intending to stand until the end of the world.

Regarding the mines.. i see one very underutilize resources here.

Niter.

We got a hundred thousand living souls with accumulated waste of thousands of years from thousand of dwarves

Why are we not making filtering and factory out of it?

It is very, very, very good. That isn't enough. We want to show Belegar that his Karak can build wonders that stand equal to the marvels of the dwarf civilization at its height.

[X] [LIBRARY] Plan: Finding the Mines
-[X] Skaven: Dwarven Esoteric
-[X] Karaz Ankor: Imperial Esoteric, Bretonnian Extensive

100gc and 2 Dwarf Favour out-of-pocket expense for +3 on our Skaven rolls (+9 to +12, the max we can currently achieve) and +5 on our dwarf culture rolls (+4 to +9). This plan is targeted on our two highest-risk activities: the skaven prisoner and Belegar's emotional health. More details if you follow the link.

Securing our penthouse is a necessary expenditure, but the correct time to do that from a mechanical perspective is the Penthouse action next turn.

[X] [COLLEGE] No purchase.
Additional magical assistance with the tower might be a good idea, but the correct time to do that, by Word of Boney, is in our action plan next turn.

[X] [PURCHASE] No purchase.
We are full on weapons and supplies.

Serious talk, I might be mistaken, but I thought it was implied that dwarf lack of fertility is cultural and psychological, with dwarf males being more at fault because they are the ones less interested in sex.

If that's true, finding a fertile wife shouldn't be that difficult.

Thinking about it, Belegar's problem with lack of dwarf population is clearly solvable by his own actions.

A) Do a Kazador.
B) Convince your Council to do a Kazador.
C) Convince the whole clan Angrund to do a Kazador.
D) Take a page out of Kragg's runebook and outstubborn the usual dwarf age so that you can keep convincing your people to do a Kazador for centuries.
E) Profit!!! Fully populated Karak Eight Peaks in Belegar's timeline.
All joking aside, izolation of karak Azul spared them defetist mentality of modern karaz ankor. They seem to have mentality of dwarves of old.

Honestly? Best that Belgar can to do it to show them as an example to other dwarf holds. The real traditionalists. The real dwarves of old. Karaz ankor tasted defeat and grew bitter focusing on grudges. Karak Azul did not. They remain unbowed and unchanged. They are closer to how Ancestors were.

And yes, Kazador is a perfect example. Reading of him brings to mind old heroic times.

Or to put it in other way: Belgar is low fantasy mentality. Kazador is high fantasy mentality. He is straight of out epic tales filled with heroic deeds and simple cheerful courage to face the world on his own terms and make best of it.

I highly doubt there are many Slayers in Karak Azul.

Well, there's one solution to this. Mathilde already wrote Asarnil's memoirs. I bet everyone would a kick out of Kazador's! For............................ reasons.
What do you mean his actions? Kazador's number of children is largely creditable to his wife, who keeps actually having them, you know? They literally made her a high priestess for it.
And hers! Can't have one without the other. :V

But it would need to be a dictation action with Max, I think. There are some things a dude can only be comfortable telling another dude. And some things a dudette can only be comfortable telling another dudette.

Oh wow, Roswita and Stirland/Sylvania apparently got off very lightly if that's the worst and nobody exploded.

New Project: Research weaponizing magnetic hill.

As long as Karak 8 Peaks cannot take the final peak Belegar will be immortal until slain in battle. I think we all know what needs to be done.

Launch one of the eight peaks into space so that Belegar leads his people to the stars?

Possibly because no one has yet raised the idea. So here's my bit to signal boost.

It isn't about vulnerability at night, K8P was vulnerable to being cut off from the world by a siege, that is no longer the case.
As for the safety, exploring the rest of the karak comes to mind.

How in gods name did our fancy magic trick remove the fact that we are deep in enemy territory, with only a single, long route connecting us towards the rest of the civilized world? There is no shadow in the world big enough to safeguard our supply line and any force large enough to threaten us is also large enough to easily destroy any convoy trying to reach us. Keeping the Blood River and Co open requires constant patrols and heavily relies on the fact that the various factions of the Badlands have as of yet made no real attempt to blockade us (and luckily for us Orks and Goblins don't tend to be very good at that kind of lengthy strategic warfare, at least intentionally). The land that convoys have to cross to reach us is famous for swallowing entire armies and nobody has ever managed to pacify it for any length of time. Sure we are probably in no danger of running out of food and water but that generally doesn't seem to big that big of an issue when it comes to besieged Karaks anyway and even then so far at least we seem to be heavily reliant on suppliess from the rest of the world. And sure, there is the possibility of shipping stuff via the air but that ignores the fact that its both expensive and that air travel isn't truly safe either, warhammer has a lot of creatures capable of flight like for example wyverns who shouldn't be that uncommon in our region.

Also you happily ignore that so far we seem to have made no attempt to even reclaim the deeper areas and mines of the Karaks (aka the truly productive areas) and it is again holding those that tends to be so disastrously attritious for the dwarves.

In this light improving underground defenses is actually a project I want to put a lot of effort into, the two most likley enemies to bring down a Karak aside from Orcs are Night Goblins and Skaven both of whom tend to do so from the underway.

"Still stalled on the damn ratling gun, but I've been working with Panoramia with the ooze we found. It can digest just about anything organic and turn it into... well, more of itself. We're feeding it to some of the cattle and they seem to like it okay, we're up to three months without ill effects at half their diet."

"That's," you pause, consider. "Possibly a really big deal." You consider further. "And might answer some questions about Skaven logistics."

"It's a matter of how far we can scale without running into deficiencies," Panoramia says. "The Halflings have agreed to scale up tests, so we'll be starting sample groups of goats and sheep on 10%, 25%, and 50%. That seems to be as much as they're willing to eat without becoming upset and uncooperative. If they're still doing okay at one year in, we'll start draft cows, milk cows and horses at Ulrikadrin. After five years, we slaughter and do full autopsies."

Jokes about shipping aside, this seems like a pretty cool boost to K8P's logistical capacity, especially if we can use it to covert the greenskin ecosystem into feed for our livestock (and thence into fertilizer, meat, wool, eggs, feathers and leather)
