Chimeraguard
We do deserve to exist.
Elven Goddess of Fate and Death. Though, most Elves only pay her the bare minimum tribute due to said role IIRC, so curious as to what a follower of hers would be like.

I see now we know who we can assign to DiplomacyDramatis Personae updated.
Johann, Magister of the Gold Order
Armament: Handgun
Speciality: Fisticuffs
Mission: Reverse-engineering Skaven technology
Diplomacy: 18 - Johann is naturally likeable and gets along with most people.
Martial: 12 - The only reason his form of 'combat' works is that he's literally bulletproof.
Stewardship: 15 - Some might call gilding your body 'ludicrously expensive'. Johann considers it an investment.
Intrigue: 18 - When most of your body is gold, you learn not to draw attention.
Piety: ???
Learning: 14 - Johann leans heavily on magic to skip right to the discoveries.
Magic: 6 - Johann has a natural gift for elemental Chamon.
Gilded: Johann's skin from the neck down is made of gold, as are some of his internal organs.
Inflexible Magic: While his magic excels at a handful of tasks, some have proven to be completely out of his reach.
Pummeler: Johann has a natural talent for brawling.
God damn! he is almost as sneaky as we are! Stop stealing our shit!Intrigue: 18 - When most of your body is gold, you learn not to draw attention.
...It's like he's from a different species.Johann is naturally likeable and gets along with most people.

Not sure if we can use the Oh, Dear button while we're doing the Burning Shadows thing. In terms of themed towers, I'd argue for something like:
Oh Dear + Ulgu Tower + Burning Shadows tower (The Burning Shadows and Ulgu tower synergy is self explanatory, and the Oh dear tower is there in case an serious miscasts occur when turning a mountain's shadows into a death trap)
Dawn and Dusk + Utter Neutrality + Serenity = Tower of Research
@BoneyM, would getting an item of Enchant Item from the college be okay? It seems like it could give us a small bonus to basically everything.
Oh hey, Kazador's still doing what he does best. @BoneyM What part of Eight Peaks has the Throng of Karak Azul been focused on?
@BoneyM so next construction options will have a clearly delinated "built another tower" and "build another room in Tower X"?
Armstrong would have a higher martial score

@BoneyM?
By Varied, would we be purchasing a few choice novels from a variety of sources?

Do we read Brettonian? I didn't think we did.
Agreed, seems pretty in-theme with "calm, measured, controlled magic".My personal opinion is that the Serenity Tower is entirely appropriate and in-theme to be the next stage of the Research Tower, with the Oh No at the top.
We get the research room, we get the paper-writing room, then we get the high-energy experiments room when we've got high-energy experiments to actually do.
Okay, but what if we, like, stood in the doorway with one foot on each side? You can't use one room's bonus on something happening in another room, no.
Learning Breton isn't required to read Breton but would make it easier to do so, as well as making things easier if you ever have to deal with Bretonnia or large amounts of Bretonnians.
I'm familiar with the Cytherai, chimaeraElven Goddess of Fate and Death. Though, most Elves only pay her the bare minimum tribute due to said role IIRC, so curious as to what a follower of hers would be like.
This seems unlike due to Lord Magister Wilhelmine making him aware she is aware of Johann's activities, and even if her reputation is lessened among the other Colleges it remains a significant deterrent. Actually this makes me wonder how comparable she is to the IRS in terms of reputation if you don't pay yourMy semi-worry is that he is actually considering going rogue, and looking into ways of escaping/dealing with us when he does.
I'm not really feeling the fungus one.
