"I was merely pointing out the flaw in your logic, not making an accusation," said Teclis.

"And once again is proven the old saying: an elf will twist the meaning of his words to suit any purpose."

"That is a dwarf saying, I imagine. I could reply with an elvish saying…"
So much cattiness.

@BoneyM A question. While not a concern of Mathilde (as it is far far out of her scope), how would you rank the deities of Warhammer by tiers?

I wouldn't. Apart from the Chaos Gods, all the Gods devote almost all of their time and effort to their followers and their domains so there's no meaningful way to try to compare them. Is Rhya on a low tier because she has no power on the battlefield? It'd make just as much sense to put Ulric on a low tier because he has no power when a calf is being born facing the wrong way.

There is still the amount of divine energy, no? Ranald stole something from Mork. If that "something" is quantifiable then gods can be sorted by the amount of that "something" they have.

Yes, but because each god spends their divine energy in very different ways, it is impossible to make 1:1 comparisons. How many arms strengthened in battle is equal to one day of rain just in time to save the harvest?

I am expecting to get an opening your big mouth lecture from Belegar that follows the beats of our casting while exhausted lecture quite closely.

For what it's worth, I was not thinking about battlefield prowess per se, as gods can and indeed do (even war gods) have a great indirect impact on the world which outstrips their direct contribution in any kind of combat, but I got my answer.

Welp, there are way too many words popping up too quickly for Omegahugger to handle.

I'mma just gonna throw my vote behind my top priorities, as approval voting risks other actions to overtake them.
[X] Tell Belegar and Kragg
[X] Cook with Panoramia and Titus
[X] Being maudlin

I think it's more that the College has the authority to get Mathilde demoted, expelled, or otherwise punished if she says the wrong thing to them. Also they have the ear of the Emperor.
Kragg's authority over Mathilde is effectively nonexistent, furthermore, Kragg's attitude towards Mathilde is probably much more stable in the face of Mathilde saying "I did stupidly dangerous wizard things!"
"This guy kind of hates my entire kind for existing, he can hardly hate me MORE!" isn't exactly an airtight argument for telling him more stories about stupidly dangerous wizard antics he's going to hate.

But I feel like we ('we' being the thread) have had this argument already.

I'm pretty sure that most speculation on the metaphysics of the gods is extremely fanon, but isn't it kinda-maybe-sorta canon that in the extreme abstract the big four and G+M are on top, the Rat and basically all other gods not identified as minor being in the middle, and minor gods of pantheons being at the bottom, at least when it comes to the divine power of each individual god?

Honestly i find it fucking hilarious that the people most against mentioning the weakening of mork now are totally on the otherside of the argument and going "lol YOLO" is this a fucking spite vote or something? xD

In my particular case it's 'YOLO' because i'm much more concerned about the inevitable grey Magister report and that was spilled already, so i'm going 'might as well spite Tzeentch a bit and trust the dworfs'.

Many other people voting against this have a (probably fundamented) pessimistic view of the dworfs and have some sleek argumentation to do with grudges 'trauma' and dumb humigi wizards, but i feel that trusting Belegar is appropriate because he trusted us, so i will. Who knows, maybe we'll get a 'don't get possessed because you're too cool dumb wizard' training or item out of this.

It's one minute to deadline, so I guessed I might as well post a tally.

Unless I'm mistaken, the winning vote is:

Tell Belegar and Kragg

Cook with Panoramia and Titus
'Make sure the ale hasn't gone bad' with Skaroki

Gambling
Hold a Ranaldan religious service
Telling war stories

Yes to Shenanigans

My problem is that people aren't voting for trusting Belegar, that option is Tell Belegar. The option people are voting for is to tell the most cantankerous, hateful dwarf who has ever existed and hoping he's finally maxed out on hatred of stupid umgi things and telling him more won't hurt.

Protip: Kragg can always find a little more hate in his heart. His heart will grow three sizes that day, if that's what it takes to fit more hatred of what we're about to tell him in there.

Kragg tries to split our skull open for having the temerity to bring up the chaos dwarves, knocks himself on his own ass via the belt he made, has to declare a grudge on himself for making the damn thing and punching himself in the face.

I am hopeful that his hate will be directed at things other than us, and more importantly, Ranald.

Look on the bright side, this might be what finally makes his heart burst from all the hate... wait.

Eh... close enough to a bright side. At least it would be interesting. :V
