Can someone sum up the differences between Plan Qeqre and Plan Massgamer for me?

Even if doesn't win thinking about doing logging action next turn along with one of the three turn actions, assuming nothing else super important comes up.
Actually if plan Mass wins, next turn we should take 'Agricultural Survey' as one of the actions in Stewardship. We keep putting it off because it gives no quick cash upon completion, but we need to complete it to work more on the lands to farm of Ostland beyond cutting trees down. Having that door open to potentially deal with air pollution, discover air pollution, and check if there is an alternative to chopping the forest down, may be a good thing.

1 difference, Mass has goats. Qeqre switches goats for a 2 year action that chops wood, giving us 1 stewardship action next turn with encouragement to take goats anyways with that 1 stewardship action. Plan mass would give 2 stewardship actions next turn, no obligation to take an action to get the most gold out of it.

Getting quick cash upon completion was important after turn 27 because we spent 4,100 gold on the Ironblaster(1,500 to find it, 2,600 to purchase) and 6,000 on the Soup Tank on turn 27, which burnt a hole in our gold reserves.
After that, the 3,500 gold / turn Soup Tank payments made it fairly hard to build up a decent reserve. And Doubling down on turns 28 and 29 certainly didn't help, given that the DDs ended up costing us a combined 1,500 gold.

Personally, I think Agricultural Survey is more about stuff like soil fatigue and erosion. Or stuff like more efficient land management / standardizing farming practices. Not revolutionary insights about air pollution.
Goats is just what I'm hoping for since it's a fairly useful option in most other contexts, since nothing else seems terribly urgent on turn 31 and since we shouldn't need to save money on turn 31 to help the budget on turn 32 so a 1-year action for 31 seems like a good fit.

The major benefit of expanding our farmlands was choking back the forest of shadows. Because even the undergrowth tries to confuse and kill people.

[X] Plan Qeqre W/ Freya as a name choice

On second though the faster we chop down trees the better what with those fucking beast men and all. I prefer the name freya for our kid though.

Huh. I now kinda feel like giving our little death daughters some body parts. I never really parsed that we could do this kind of reconstruction with magic.

Not really? There was a reason for Frederick to take knife to himself last chapter.

It wasn't however a real reason, like 'my was arm corrupted, cut it off before it spreads to the rest'

Here it was far more because it was inconvinient along the lines of 'the kisses of my husband taste bad' and 'stuff that I eat and drink have an awful taste to them', then because actual harmful as in 'I cannot eat anymore because I cannot hold it down due to the taste' which was an possible outcome and that was then resolved with a life threatining injury a.k.a cutting of your own tongue

What I mean to say is that for all our reservations about abusing the LoS and our JW for stuff like that, it is clearly that IC people have much less reservations about that

I dunno, to me, "everything I eat or drink tastes awful" seems more than torturous enough to merit a bit of self-harm for a few minutes. Passing fancy, not so much.

Let me speak from my own experience (a prescribed diet due getting fructose intolerance and that involved Stuff that tasted like cardboard) and tell you that you get used to it after a few weeks,

Also it's not a Bit of self-harm, People can die from bitting of their tongue even in mordern day in a first World Country

There is an age difference, with a safety environment precaution difference, between cutting your hands to indulge children in a power fantasy, and removing the no taste issue (players are getting pissed at, will not shut up about), as a responsible adult. Whom is indulging in an rare act of vanity, with his wife's permission, in an act that is as little dangerous as successfully drinking Bugman under the table was.

It not about doing the deed we talk about, but the Inhibitions or rather the Lack of them in regards of bodily harm

As in, "as long as it's Not permanent it's okay"

Also whether it is okay to Go for "lethal" self-harm for an issue that is neither permanent as far as the character knows nor delibiratly harmful or hindering

little dangerous as successfully drinking Bugman under the table was.

Dude during Bugman's we we're about to die from liver failure, if anything you prove my Point

Even if comparing the two things is wholly no-good because they are completly different Things due the goals involved in either

"I am constantly nauseated" might be distracting when going through large amounts of paperwork(such as that needed for legal reform or when checking the ledgers), when fighting or when doing anything really.

Having black lips and a black tongue might also cause the uninformed to suspect mutation or some kind of disease.
Funnily enough, Sigmarites probably would have the least issue with it if they learned that it was a case of voluntarily undergoing a Dwarven ritual to settle a grudge(help Dwarf folk).
Though equally, if word spreads that Freddy willingly cut off his own tongue and lips, that could raise questions.

No great option beyond people having gotten used to Freddy's crazy antics. Still not as extreme as cutting off your own hands as a creepy memento when a more 'normal' gift could do to show them we cared.
And Elspeth only allowed the creepy death twins to make that request because she was banking on us to discipline them on how to stop being creepy. As far too many people have indulged them so far and we have a leg up due to being their (distant but trying to stay in touch) biological parents.

Roar using a wrestling promo image as a protrayl of fred is getting disturbingly accurate.

He sounds like a Japanese wrestlers backstory.

The courtyard was cleared of all but 2 kinds of people - the wizards who are naturally secretive and employed so very unlikely to spread things around, and only the most trusted folk meaning either Hohenzollerns or Greatswords.

And Oskana.

I could go back and make it more explicit that privacy was a major factor in it, or even switch location perhaps, but when Frederick walks around with no-longer-blackened body bits in public, people are just going to assume that he got it healed with the Jade Wizards aid or that of priests. Also, comparatively, sawing off hands is way more of an issue than quick cuts to lips and tongue. Beyond that? It was a discipline issue, and a mentality correction. This was quick, and ended with immediate disposal. Granting limbs to children who have been notably odd from birth, plus their own magical proclivities, is different. Frederick isn't about to indulge those kinds of impulse requests. And this might just be me, but the lip stuff doesn't equal hands. One is way more serious than the other, and not something to be done lightly. And I'm pretty sure Frederick would feel the same way.

On a completely separate note, I wonder if Freddy and Urgdug could partake in the pit fighting officially without taking a hit to noble rep for doing so. They both can easily be the best pit fighters in Ostland in their respective brackets after all and they have experience in it.

Would be a fun way to blow off steam, regularly interact with common man, and earn some small amount of coin for fun.
