Might change my mind, but this is good for now.

Anyway, confirmation that the Shard is good to make a Domain Weapon into, it should let it carry us well into the Fourth Realm. The Mirror's apparently dangerous to use (But if we must, it would be best used as a curse/spiritual attack repellant) and would be best sold to get a decent nest egg. The pod is useless to us right now, but probably has rare and exotic spirit plant seeds which'll serve as a great source of income for our new fief.

@yrsillar - I'm, uh, not really sure how the "Accelerate" option would speed things up. Is it just proposing that we skim over the effects of minors? Because if we aren't doing that and we are still getting to choose who we spend time with, and we still get to choose our training actions, I'm not clear on what the actual proposed change is going to do.

Basically I would have less fillery scenes and just do the more important character bits left in the arcs of the characters involved.
 
If that mirror is too squik for the BAI, it's too squik for us, so let's sell it to fund the work on the sword if we're not going to use the Cai vote for that.

That being said, I think we should start the sword now so we have time to get used to it and so we have it for possible pre tourney sabotage fights.

The other argument is to keep it secret that we have a real Domain weapon and let everyone but Bai/Cai think we're going to be using a Neophyte's Blade at the tournament.

@yrsillar two questions. Has Meizhen gone back to calling Ling Qi, "Ling Qi" instead of "Qi"? And is Zhengui learning the downsize skill the "maybe start working on getting him ready to introduce to your family" part of his minor?
 
For those keeping count there's something like 8-7 weeks left, each at 2-3 updates, baring events.

But it will be interesting to see how many people vote for each option. @yrsillar it might be for the best that if a sizable part(a third or more) vote for acceleration that you do speed it up, just a bit, if not as much as you would have under if acceleration won. Something like making a plan for two weeks at a time, and merely shortening minors that are less relevant. That would still significantly reduce the time till tournament.

Also, everyone in agreement to make our domain blade from the Shard?

We can probably sell the mirror to pay for it, the question is should we ask Cai to arrange for the forging of the Blade or take it to some sect workshop? (Probably ask Cai for introductions)

I would not like to have the Blade acutally replace our free talisman. I would prefer to get a blade and use the mirror to pay for the blade.

EDIT: Basically, this should not be a yes/no vote, but a vote of degrees. At least in my opinion. A compromise vote, if you will.

I do rather enjoy the filler material as well, but it does kinda feel like just that.
Best to keep things moving and effectively doing away with the minor system frees the cultivation plans up to maximize efficiency without us having to wrangle minor allotments in there somehow.
 
Awesome update! Nice to see Meizhen has issues outside of us though she hasn't had a great political showing for her Aunt, still hoping she'll pummel Liling to make up for it! Suyin's adorable and growing awesomely, Senior Sister Qingling is best Senior Sister! Actually hoping to see more of her, she seems interesting.

The tiny scouts created by the Ossuary Scout Formation are but a small part of the whole, when the time for observation has passed, they can be gathered to fight on their masters behalf. The construct created by the activation of this formation has a cultivation level equivalent to the number of scouts used to create it divided by three. Eg. A Horror created from 15 scouts would have a cultivation level of 5. The constructs cultivation level cannot exceed it's creators.

The horror has a movement of 21 and an initiative of 15. It's base combat statistics are as follows.

This is absolutely ridiculous cost/reward and all the proof we need to invest in formation/Suyin minors every week until the Tournament!
We can make a couple dozen scouts for cheap and then have an almost free Green level Minion. One that we can easily remplaced mid-fight if/when it get's destroyed!
We need to invest in this! we might be able to upgrade it twice before the tournament !

Not only will the voting period between the updates fall away, we are also guaranteed a cohesive training plan instead of some frankensteinian ordeal created by the ever shifting majorities.

Maybe we will even do those closed door SLP weeks we wanted to do for the last month but couldnt due to other stuff beeing too cool.

Therefore id appreciate the chance to go reach the tournament faster, better prepared and with internal cohesion.

I am also 100% sure that @yrsillar wont. Screw us on screen time with the characters we love and wont have us miss any shinies and goodies along the way.

Yeah, I think we should definitely market next turn to Auction mirror and commission a blade. That commission is a perfect sabotage target though, so we might want to guard it.

And now, for something completely different.

While I'm not hoping for a stomp by any means, Bai/Cai/Ling/Gu should have a pretty intense meridian lead over the other Greens from White Room. It will be interesting to see how that plays out.

Everybody's worrying about what arts they load for the tournament and what they sideboard, and we're probably gonna roll up with every art we know slotted.
